Oh my goodness!!!! I can't believe you got this from the side of the road. What an amazing piece. I agree the mirror should stay with the buffet. It's beautiful buuut it does look more pink than rust. Someone is going to love.
I wish I had my luck 😂 Usually my free pieces are IN pieces! Which I love- repairs are fun, but I can’t say it’s not nice to have something that doesn’t need them sometimes.
Such a Cool find ...My friend what a beautiful Transformation...At the End and your sitting in front of this beauty....The Window to the Left ...That Beautiful View Outside Got Pulled into The Decoupage Papers View as almost Gave the Effect of pulling Nature from Outside Into Inside....breath Taking (I Hope I Explained that Correctly lol..watch on this video at the end you will see what I'm saying)..just Beautiful and I Totally Love that coral color..You're just so creative it blows my mind..love your work🥰❣️👍
@@elegantupgrades thank you my friend...I'm so excited when I seen the trailer loaded up for that market..I'm so Happy your business is growing so fast and you definitely deserve Every bit of success...makes me smile just thinking about it ❣️❣️💯
I love the colors and the paper!! I think I would have added the paper to the rest of the panels to bring it all together. Also, because I love the look so much!! 😍
Thank you, Vittoria! I’m still undecided about the finished product- it’s starting to grow on me, but perhaps you’re right about adding more to the panels. I may go back later and make some changes, but we shall see how we get along 😂
I have too admit, I was shocked by the pink but at the end, it looked great with the gliding wax, as it brought the whole piece together. You are so artistic Tanya, keep up the great work!!!
Your hair looks great. This piece was so interesting to watch you create. And all the products were great to see being used. Your art is beautiful in this piece. There is always someone out there. Just hold tight.
It's truly one of a kind😊😉. And I like it too! I'm certainly no designer or pro but if I were an interested buyer I would like to see the remaining wood panels and the legs painted too, I think. 🤔 Thanks for always thoroughly explaining your techniques and plans. I learn something from every video❣️👍
I do love this one, Taryn! I think the coral-rose-terra cotta at the bottom is perfect with the blue-gray. This feels like something that goes in the dining room of a wealthy cattle baron. Where I get these ideas I don’t know, but your furniture always tells me a story. Have a wonderful week! I can’t wait to see what you do next!🌸
Love, love this piece! Held my breath watching you blend and layer those colors... Love the results...was just like magic! Those pieces of wood you left shine through, like the gold, make it so special!
Hi Taryn…FREE…WOW…WHAT LUCK!! She is a beauty…I love the old buffets with those ornate tops. Turned out just beautiful…always learning! Received my last order…two large gold hearts are just gorgeous🌟🌟 and love my brass candlesticks too! Thank you for sharing😊kim
At first I wasn't sure because I love the wood look, but it works. It's very beautiful. Happy holidays to you as well. Thank you for the video too. I wish I could find the free stuff like that. :-)
It’s a very pretty piece. Free? Get outa town. Me, I would so turn that top into a statement hallway piece with coat hooks on an added trim piece at the bottom. The buffet is so beautiful all by itself as a stand alone. Again well done. Let us know what happens …
Catching up with you after getting knocked out for a while with illness and it's always a joy to watch you work and see the finished piece It's so beautiful Taryn! Hope you had a great Thanksgiving.
Your imagination and sense of color/tone is amazing. I love how this turned out. I especially like how you used the gilding wax to trim the upper and lower parts. The orangish blend along the bottom is certainly not bad but wouldn't have been my first choice. Regardless, it is very beautiful! If only I could find a few roadside pieces like this.
I wish we could ALL find roadside pieces like this! It just feels like a win. And yeah, the orangy-coral was making me question my sanity, but it’s starting to grow on me. I’ll give it a bit longer to see how I feel about it. PS. Thanks for the coffees!!!! You are always so generous. I really appreciate you, Richard.
You do beautiful work regardless of whether or not your choices on this piece worked or didn’t work. For me,Something wasn’t coming together on the finished look but it’s ok .. as long as your happy with it. Thank you for sharing the video.
That pinkish looks like sunrise, sunset glow I have experienced in rocky wild areas. Best I have seen in a long time. I also want to know the glitter wax as you have no list. Thank you for such a good piece showing your process and thoughts. And little girl's toes.
@@elegantupgrades you're very welcome! Keep up the inspirational great works! I want to painmy old antique makeup vanity, but hubby doesn't want me too. UgH. I'm thinking on it and a color. Teal or creamy origami white or black with a hint of charcoal.
How about putting pictures of something else into those two little windows. These two pieces need to have something to match them to each other. The top and the bottom look very disjointed. And the top reminds me of the Alamo LOL 🎨🖌️
They have the matching wood- I felt like if I covered the wood on the top, I’d then have to lose the wood on the middle door. But it’s certainly and option to change things up!
I would have used different inserts in the doors. It is a romantic, gentle, feminine piece, but the landscapes are hard and fierce. Just too much. I would also have put inserts into the top spaces to pull the top and bottom together.
It is interesting but it’s a lot with the top piece. When I look at it I get a Moroccan vibe and wonder if a tile design would work in the curved insets.
When I saw you start painting what looks like gorgeous wood, my inner woodworker gasped lol... Can't argue with the results, though. It looks awesome. Was the piece solid wood, or just veneer? I can't believe someone would just abandon a piece of furniture that unique and sturdy looking.
SOLID WOOD. Seriously can’t believe it was left out! But I can’t say I’m not happy I got it. (Tell your inner woodworker sorry- I promise it can be taken back to wood when the time is right)
Oh yes ma’am, you are more creative than me but I’d find a headboard that you could connect the mirror to. You can get wood rails at the thrift stores. I believe if someone asked me who I’d like to spend the whole day with it would be you.
@@elegantupgrades I saw a beautiful painting by Ross. I wanted to tell you but I can’t remember the name, but it was a beautiful little cabin or house and he was working on the snow. It was so beautiful 😍

A beautiful piece of art that will be handed down from generation to generation!
Thank you! I love that sentiment.

You do a great job with painting edges without tape. I wish I could! The colors do look good since you put the washes over it and made it more subtle

@@conniecox2549 I think if it had more of an a orange tint or rust it would work better.
Yes, it didn’t quite hit the mark. But it’s growing on me. I may try and use some wax blending to deepen it up. We shall see.
Interesting....🤔.... different....💐🌹
