Get some Kester Tip Tinner and some brass wool the comes in small metal container you just poke the tip for cleaning for cleaning tip. Ditch the wet spongeand the sand paper those cause the tip plating dammage. I know you have been doing this for years. Just try my way fairly cheep but you will get results.. The wet sponge temperature shocks your tips. Make sure your tips are loaded with solder before turning off the iron. I have a 5 year old tip that tins perfectly Shiny and it's a iron I use alot not daily I have many irons for different purposes.
yes you can use higher voltage rating caps but the capacitance has to be the same great video I always prefer to repair rather then replace you forgot to plug the fan connector back on though
The handle on that driver extends just pull up on the collar did know if you knew another great video...oh did you plug the fan back in on that power brick didn't see you do it
I have the original style 360 but it’s the red light that pops on. If everything is plugged in it’s amber but as soon as I turn the Xbox on it turns red. Could that be a cap issue too?
I think my power supply has the same issue thanks , great video. It seems like you forgot to connect back the fan thou.
Yes, I did. I caught it and hooked it up.
