Thought I tripped over an Epicurious video for a moment there. Seeing Steven Lim just genuinely enjoy the food, no playing for the camera and audience, was just really wholesome. I think we enjoyed the video almost as much as he did.
When Steven leans back and smiles, you know it is good and tasty. Love Strictly Dumpling show, one of the best YT out there, and the way Chan interacts with the viewers. Awesome channel.
Mike is clearly in love. He's even changed his channels to allow himself to stay close to home as much as possible. I'm so very happy for him! I wish everyone had that option. Not that I don't wish we could all get to know his girlfriend too but I really respect him for not pressuring her to do anything she isn't completely comfortable with. I also respect her for not choosing to do anything that she doesn't feel comfortable doing. Everyone deserves a private life. Hope they never forget that.

well as a teenager I was just myself doing whatever I liked playing video games watching anime and sports but then I fell in love and it totally destoryed my life made my last years at high school living hell it took some time but I eventually forgot about it and went back to being myself and 5 years have passed and now I feel love and relationships are just things that ruin your happiness

Yes I love that you’re trying food from my hometown! Chongqing used to be part of Sichuan Province, now it’s its own municipal since the 90’s. Chongqing cuisine in my opinion is oilier, spicier, heavier in tastes (重口味）than Sichuan cuisine, whereas Sichuan food is more delicate and mild. But to most people they are both on the spicy side! I prefer Sichuan food but I can’t say it out loud in Chongqing because people get very offended 😂😂😂
I am adding Momofuku to my list of places to visit for when I start traveling for my channel. Mike thank you so much for your videos and your collaboration with other food UA-camrs. This past 2 years were tough due to the pandemic and all the adjustments everyone had to do, but watching your videos really helps me get through it all. Not only that, but it inspired to follow my dream as well and start my own channel Latin Chopsticks. I trying to show everyone the best places to eat in Orlando FL outside of the theme parks but in the future I plan to include everything. Ahh, the food always looks so amazing! Even though I can’t handle ANY spice, watching them slurp up those hand pulled noodles was mouthwatering. Also loved seeing these two food legends together.
You can tell Steven isn't eating as much because almost every dish is spicy. Mike order spicy things 90% of the time. Some people don't mind and enjoy spiciness, but not on EVERY single dish lol.
