im actually so sad this series is ending. it's been my favourite series on youtube since i first started using the platform, like almost a decade ago. seeing everyone grow and change as people has been almost magical. thank you for sharing this series with us. i cant wait to see what happens next!

Simu should consider a new vertical as a food TV personality; he has a great way of speaking about food and his passion for it really shines through.
Two of his Kim’s Convenience co-stars (YYC boys!) did something similar in Calgary.
It was a lot of fun seeing them walk around my city.
As a Torontonian it's wild to think there are people out there who haven't had beef patties, they're so integral here. Plus Pai truly slaps. Was dope seeing that Toronto representation!
Yeah, I thought they were ubiquitous corner store fare across North America. Patty on a bun was the staple lunch of my latchkey childhood.
In Quebec, they're fairly common as well. Fond memories of these from childhood to now.
Every subway station! Bathurst and Warden station patties are great but I have a fondness for Wilson station patties.
*I'm in Michigan only a couple hour drive. I've never tried one in 29 years. What we have around the area doesn't seem like they would be on par with the original beef patties.*
Such a staple here. You can get it in every grocery store, fresh ones all around. Even my high school cafeteria sold them.
As a Torontonian this brings me so much joy to see them explore this amazing city

As a fellow Torontonian who did rely on patties to keep my hunger levels satisfied whenever going through my college courses, this truly was a beautiful representation of the gastronomy of our diverse, multicultural city. @@Zenigotcha I'm not sure how many times you've been to Montreal or if you've ever lived there - it's not even close. You can go into any restaurant or bar in Montreal and get excellent food and service without all the gimmicks of the Toronto restaurant scene. I've visited and lived in all 3 cities, and have worked as a hospitality consultant in the past. Respectfully, there really is no competition.

As someone that is very close to the family that owns Fishman Lobster Clubhouse, it really warms my heart to see how well received and celebrated the food and the atmosphere is. I've had some fantastic memories dining there through the years, including their previous locations, and to hear the stories from the POV of both the owners and peers really makes it a special place to me :)

This is the last season and after the last episode I will miss Adam's little smile and giggle when he tastes something that surprises him with how good it tastes.
And as a former Torontonian that was dirt poor when I lived there, Patty King patties were a great way to satisfy hunger for a dollar.

while andrew steven and adam changed through the seasons i think the one who changed the most is me. i went from casually watching 2 dudes with their camera man eating food around the world to feeling warmth and joy watching them laugh. such a great episode and show.
I love how involved Simu Liu is, outside of acting he still gets involved in UA-cam channels like this. Over all great vibes ❤
Toronto is so ethnically diverse, you can eat almost every part of the world’s food, and a lot of it is excellent and cheap. Love Toronto & It’s people ❤

it always makes me feel uncomfortable seeing celebrities talk over people they're collabing with, but Simu, for lack of better words, speaks like a normal person. it honestly just feels like he's one of the boys. i love their chemistry and i love this episode! those noodles look fckn banger and i want a worth it christmas special featuring Simu!!!!
I didn't know who it was at first. I never watch movies or TV (Netflix and whatever) these days but he was so familiar ... However, I did watch Barbie with ny daughters this summer😄 It's Ken! The Ken that looked most like the Kens I played with as a child.
Never thought I would see Khao Soi in an episode of Worth It. As someone who grew up in northern Thailand as chef Nui, I can say that she really put her effort and love into the dish to make it truly authentic.
Also love how Simu struggled to judge the winner. All 3 places are amazing and he shows that all of them are special to him in a different way.
Man. Simu is just the best. I wish we could get more episodes with him.

OMG. I’m Jamaican and it’s so exciting seeing you try our food😭! I LOVE peanut punch. The creamy taste is to die for. It’s kinda hard to find in Texas so whenever I’m at a gas station with the milkshake makers I always get the snickers one. It tastes just like it. 🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲

this episode in particular was one of the best food programmes I've seen. great work to all involved and thanks for putting it out there for everyone to enjoy.
Sitting through this episode I remembered that this is the final season, and a wave of sadness came over me. But it was then replaced by a fond happiness. I have loved every season of this show and learning about the types food and people that the trio are. Seeing such development from all three brings a tear to my eye almost and I’m reminded of good memories and how strong of a friendship these men have. Thank you Steven, Andrew and Adam for such an amazing ride.
This feels similar to when bon appetit came to an end without the drama. Cooking and enjoying food has literally shaped my life. Thank you team for the amazing content over the years. This show will go down as one of the best food shows ever made. We all need to keep sharing different cultures from around the world and come to a better understanding of one another. 🌎🙏🔥
The end of Gourmet Makes was so sad, even though I just discovered the series this year. This is also my first episode of Worth It--how come it's ending?

@@vivsevs1087 They've been doing this for years. Plus, the original concept was to do the same type of food (for instance, pizza) at three different price points, and... they've kind of exhausted the foods that most people know and would have access to.

I've watched a few of her Dessert Person episodes and while I love Claire herself, I find myself going back to the Gourmet Makes episodes until I will have finished all of them. The banter and love in that kitchen was just unbeatable.
Simu is so well spoken and so is Andrew. Hearing them speak is beautiful. Hearing Steven speak is hilarious and relatable XD
This was such a refreshing episode and Simu still remains such a humble, chill guy, I hope he’ll get even more acting roles after Shang-chi. ❤ I’m still shook knowing this is Worth It’s final season, each season was honestly such a treat and I still love the format. Wishing the crew the best for whatever they decide to do next~

I always love seeing people come to Toronto(pronounced the correct way as a local Torontonian should). It's such a melting pot of cuisine and culture, especially downtown Toronto. Fishman Lobster Clubhouse is actually close to where I live, and I always love seeing people go there and eat the mountain of lobster and crab. Its 100% a great experience with family and friends
This is not just a food & travel channel .... This is a cultural documentary that makes me appreciate our planet and I will support this channel till I'm an old woman! 🥰🥰🥰

For those wondering, Dollar tree sells beef and chicken Jamaican patties. I've been eating them for over a decade, introduced to me by a Jamaican lady. The brand is Golden Krust. I'd say pretty much the same exact size and filling amount. Definitely wouldn't mind trying a fresh one for 50 cents more.
I moved to Toronto during the pandemic. Discovering Pai (and ordering it regularly) really got me through. So nice to see it featured here! It is genuinely exceptionally good Thai food.
