2 chords, just 2 damn chords (at least for most of the song). Yet the range! it doesn't drag. it doesn't linger. It f*cking rocks! Satch, you crafty bastard! you are a guitar god, always was, always will be.
Yeah, it was pretty quick. I love how "Asik Veysal" from "Professor Satchifunkilus" keeps reloading to the tune of 8 minutes long and only mentioning it because it was a jam and a half like this one is. Jam it if you've never heard it. Lol, I had a 70 year old friend in my car and he insisted I speed up while cruising the back roads to that song. Peace.
That background running arpeggio rhythm line is insane. Great song. Reminds me of Terminator 2 meets Guns & Roses for whatever reason. Great song Satch! 🎸👽🎶
One of my favorite songs from this new amazing album! I picture myself driving a muscle car, taking on the road, then onto the open high ways in a desert environment like Arizona (or any other place), rumbling V8, shifting gears, with this killer track blasting on the radio. Joe, thank you for always being an inspiration and an amazing musician. Love it! 🤘🎸
This is one is one of your best very suitable for a dark fantasy opening scene ! With mages and pyromancers throwing spells and fireballs at flying mighty dragons ! EPIC !
Love that arpeggio at 1:54 reminiscent to (if there’s no heaven) rhythm and feel 🖤 Also, this would be a badass song for the last run i ghost rider movie nick cage and sam elliott 🤟
It’s gratifying to realize his inspiration before joe talked about it two years later!! Austin TX yesterday 11/17/2022 Joe played this song and said it’s inspired by the Ghost rider desert run ❤️ It’s an honor to have met you in person and got to ask you some questions. God bless you, keep on rocking 🤘
Lalnun Thara Try to listen love thing, the crush of love, until we say goodbye, the meaning of love, you're my world, and many others.. it's a songs from joe too
I started listening to this track after listening to 3 others and my computer just went black an I got this buzz in my headphones like some body pulled the plug on your guitar cable and dropped it on the floor. Joe melted down my sound card or my whole computer got scared and quit. Weird.
...and Kenny Arnoff on drums. He subbed for Chad Smith on the second Chickenfoot tour. He's pretty good. I feel like Satch is playing a little looser on some of these tracks. :-)
We just saw Joe in Salem, Or. He said after they'd played this song that he wantrd to keep on going and going. He said he pictures in his mind Nicolas Cage on his ghost rider motorcycle riding off into the desert....
I can see ghosts, phantoms, aliens, shades everywhere😎😎 and ofc outlaws😄 through this epic solo😎 1:40 epic sound and solo.... 1:54 nice arpegio/sweeping 😎 ...last chord effect remind me a lot of Crystal Planet.😎😎
Why are all the songs so short on this album? Definitely feels/sounds like this album is incomplete. If it was the different producer that convinced him to make shorter songs, then please fire that guy. Jim Scott I believe? The Foo Fighters producer... Well that explains it then... Album has some good stuff, but songs are too short

A beautiful song should not end so soon.

LONG LIVE THE KING!
This song is awesome on the CD, but in live it is absolutely insane, probably my new favorite Satch song !
This song could easily have been called "Spirituality, Philosphy and Guitar". Such an amazing track! Great song Joe! 👽🎸🎶

Joe said recently he's working on TWO albums over the next several months. More to come:)
New album has several near 6 minutes. No more major label barriers!
