This was a powerful teaching. I turned 57 today (2/24/23) and I’ve never been asked to be married. No children. At 25 min into this teaching struck a real and relative chord. I’ll keep listening to gain some strength. Thank you, thank you thank you!
You’re a very pretty lady! Don’t give up, it’s not to late for marriage. Be open to guys you probably in the last wouldn’t have given a chance too. Having a list… is what’s keeping many women single. They feel as though they should’ve have to “settle” It’s not settling but being realistic. Have God choose him and send him. Open up your heart to receive him. Try online dating.. and just perhaps you’ve friendzoned your husband. Who knows, he could even be a facebook friend.

Yes, pastor single women should not concentrate on getting a man or married, let God prepare and he will direct them or bring them their spouse. DON'T RUSH " marriage" and be forever unsatisfied just to be married, peace is priceless. Pastor best time servicing God without restriction is when single, when married our attention is divided. Honestly after 5 years in our marriage, I love him, he is a hard worker, I work to but I don't make as much as he does. So when he is incoherent he'll brag about all he pays, he gets belligerent calls me names. After he'll apologize, but say if you hadn't of done this or said this, I wouldn't have done it or said it. I know who I am in Christ. Before we married I went to church and served in church. I find myself going occasionally. I want to get back where I was putting God first, I try to encourage him to get on board. But because he has seen some in the church that we're not good. He says the church is in him and he refuses to go.
Man this was everything. Talking about these things are so important!! These are things we don't think about. But here, we discuss it all !! We are getting healed on all scales and all levels. Thank you pastor!! Love you my brother and sisters!!❤️🙌

Pastor you gave examples of verbal abuse, mental abuse is a little different and it is not subjective. Abuse by definition is a PATTERN of power and control. What makes it abuse is the pattern of doing things in order to gain power over and to control the other. Thank you so much for teaching this.

I've been married for 5 years. I didn't find out about my husband until after we were married that he had a problem with going out late at night especially on the weekend and staying out all night doing, ima be honest with you. He still into drugs. Once a month he gets that itch to get mad at me and leaves sometimes 2 nights. He did it this past weekend. He is a Reverend, he claims he loves the Lord. But I made him made so he left. I have packed up all my stuff and left before. He begged my to come back and promised he would get help. So I did agree but only if we would get a councilor. When his mom was alive she offered to pay. We counciled one time that was all. As a woman of God I pray for my husband that God will bring him to rock bottom and this will bring him to completely let go.
I am watching the replay. Pastor I have been celibate March/23 will be 16 years. I am a WOG/Prophet. I really soaked/gleaned from this message. I want to catch this ministry live to share.
BTW. I am 56. Three children and 4 grandchildren.

My faith in God is strong. I try and keep my momentum up. By trusting in God to move us to the next level of obedience to Him. My husband holds on to Jesus supposedly delivered him from. We continuely rehears the same argument of him not doing it anymore. I don't even live anymore. Because this has become a cycle of just being stagnant, I'm 😫 tired.

Emotional or financial abuse and abandonment (including emotional) I feel, have been kinda vague in the church. I'm thankful Dr. Vernon getting the conversation started and educating the body of Christ. Our people have perished for lack of knowledge long enough.

I wish I could have gotten this type of counseling before I married. My husband has left. And I'm starting over I am one of the ones who chose Wrong, And stay and try to make it work even though I was unhappy and he left me. And I married an older man thinking all the play would be out of him. What did I got counseling open like yours maybe it could have been presented.
