I was saving up the Indoors track to be placed between the 1st and 2nd versions of the Palace and Boss Fight. It's the only other quieter track in the game, and a break is sorely needed from all the intense and epic tracks that make up the soundtrack. I was originally intending to have two versions of this track too, but would have them play sequentially. Being that there are only 4 bars, it's easy to spin them off and expand them however I wanted. However, as I tried to blend them I started to see a vivid narrative driving the music, and the result is what you hear now.
My idea is to have the chill part of the theme to be very idyllic. I was inspired by "Dream of the Shepherd" from Aion, where the music is mainly played by a couple locals chilling to the side. Maybe some other people get inspired and join in. This adds to the feeling of respite Link must feel when he enters a town after crossing through dangerous inhospitable terrain. The townspeople themselves however may not be as relaxed as they are relatively defenseless. They need Link to help deal with their problems, but they will help in their own way with information, healing, and treasures.
While this is referred to as the Indoor track, I always associated this music as the "power up" tune. It's much louder and overbearing than the outside town theme. Each time Link enters the house of the wise man, he and always has to walk down a long corridor before descending down into the basement. The game gives a big buildup to the reveal of the magic spell /sword technique, and the player's anticipation is high. My original plan to arrange the track was to have the piano play long low chords while the strings dance on high with light fast ostinatos, and the brass playing the 4-bar phrase solemnly. The gist of it is there in the end, but I shifted it a bit to incorporate more of the "townspeople" instruments participating, to show that they're there in support of Link.

This channel is criminally underviewed
Agreed. All of these music remakes are higher quality than so many others on UA-cam. Not to say there aren't any other good ones, but these are next level.
This is in many ways an original suite with Zelda 2 motifs in the mix! I like it!
So on April 1st, you should do a new upload, but it's just a 5 second 'orchestration' of falling down the tomb.
0:47 - "If all else fails use fire." ~ purple man in a random house
I wish I knew music terms and instrument names so I could better point out that which I like best
The bagpipes were a surprizingly nice touch! By the way, I notice you haven't done the theme for the the final dungeon, the Great Palace... Can you please make one, soon?
I didn’t know you watched Sora! I saw you comment in his live this morning. Been enjoying your arrangements for a few years now - thanks for all the great work. 😊
Yeah lol I'm a fan. See you around!
This gives me Breath of the Wild vibes.
Too good for mortal ears
Always a delight to see these pop up!
I love the homey sound :)

Absolutely brilliant. You turned a 8-second loop into an 8-minute musical masterpiece. That's just art at its finest.
I'm always looking forward to your next upload. This one is great, just like always. I love how you can take just some simple, short melodies, and spin them into something complex without losing the original tune.
Thank you. I listen to this song constantly to feel my feelings. It expresses whatever the profound sadness version of nostalgia is. Lost time. Lost hope and wonder. Remembering a world where anything was possible. You forget it existed, but it was truly real. This game and this music become a more rigid part of my life every year. Guess I'm getting old.
This is phenomenal~ :) I feel the peaceful home-y vibes of a small house in a small village, then it opens up to include feelings of being out in said village, surrounded by its people all going about their lives, then it opens even further to paint pictures of a quest that takes someone through said village~ Thank you for your work :D
You put a lot of epicness into this tune. You are a mastermind!
