I guess this was that time he had Mick Jagger on the phone
Isak Larsson my thoughts exactly
Kevin is the best thing happen to music so far at 21st century
Closest thing we'll ever get to Kevin going back to rock again
Kevin is the Midas of music.
@Abraham Villalobos everything he touches turns to gold
Parker turned it into a banger.
When you feel that "touch" thank you Kevin 🙏🙏
as hotline miami fan i can say:GOTTA GET A GRIP!
I sort of wish Kevin Parker would produce every album from everyone.
osufan77 me fucking too ahah
shiiit i want him producing my albums if anything, but thats not really a great idea as some producer's production techniques dont fit with every artist GREAT/AMAZING albums are almost always the result from having the perfect pair of producer and artist/band
osufan77 nah just drum. He's a good drummer
lol xd
Its got that 'Lonerism' vibe
Thank GOD I heard this version first!!!
Kevin Parker hits it out of the park in this. Jagger sounds goooooood.
This is the best version!
Kevin Parker is a genius
obviously the best version
Wonderful! two beasts together
Kevin Parker is a genius, period!
I missed a Lonerism sound so much! Thank you for that Mind Mischief guitar and awesome drums!!!
what a fuckin genius that Kevin Parker is!! this is brilliant!
This makes me very excited for future tame impala
that kevin parker drum fills.
ah Kev ya smashed it! so good
This sounds kinda like Mick aping Primal Scream aping the Stones, and I couldn't love it more. It's like a full circle moment.
meta shit is fucking me up.
Straight on my playlist!
The best Jagger I've heard in a while! Dam! 😊🙌😎🍃
No More... Now you have "Eazy Sleazy" with Grohl
@@maxmartino8979 Not I...
@@maxmartino8979 I wanted to like Eazy Sleazy, but just couldn't get into anywhere near this one.
Far better than the original. Love it! Go Kevin!
This somehow sounds like what the Stones could sound like in 2017; while also sounding like another would-be classic Tame Impala track featuring Mick! Incredible!
amazing groove, thanks mick + kevin!
OMG I'm so into this 💗 my two favs. You can hear the Kevin' s touch.
Иногда не хватает умения взять себя в руки? Но, это же так просто)))! Как и легкость и гениальность этой прекрасной песни!
Fantastic!!! Love You Mick! 🤘😎 😃
Amazing song!
Must of been one of those fucking mental moments for Kev when he realised he was remixing a track for Mick Jagger
Great version!
That guitar sounds awesome
Gotta be above it, gotta be above it.... Gotta get a grip, gotta get a grip....!
Way better than original

This is the real Gripper!
Great stuff
Debo decir que en ocasiones Mick Jagger me avergüenza en sus intentos solistas.
mick jagger es grande
Definitely, Kevin Parker is god
two generations collide
La old y la neo psicodelia juntas yeah
I love the original version but this cool too cool 😎
better than the original. these drums and licks are just more fitting
KEVIN PARKER IS A GOD
This would be so fitting in an ep of American Horror Story - Cult.
For future reference Jagger, just get Parker to do the original track for you.. Seriously.
Okay, Mick Jagger's track was not the greatest and needed to be brought back to the 21st century and Kevin Parker did that with skill. But Mick is 74. I wish I could make music like his at 74 and still tour with the energy he has. I love Kevin and Tame Impala and there is no denying that everything he touches turns to gold. However, I think that without Mick Jagger, the Rolling Stones and the excellent music they wrote back in the day, and for several decades, along with some of their peers, there would be no Kevin Parker, and modern music would not be what it is. Listen to the rolling Stones back catalogue. there are countless gems in there and Jagger is a very talented musician. He has been a bit out of touch since the 80s but apart from Bowie, who else managed to carry on making relevant music for decades?
Melomania for real. This version makes mick sound like a beast
The drumming is just....he really is one of the greatest drummers ever.
greatest drum mixers* but yes I agree
@@Juanjolead I think he was referring to Charlie Watts, the drummer here.
@@shawnriffhard Pretty sure that's Kevin on the drums there
@@KarlDelaney99 any citation for that? Everything I've been able to find lists Charlie as the drummer.
This is amazing fukin riff!!!
Mick jagger should be greatful that kevin p. Took the time to make of this a good song
wanna tell you 'bout the time
(I was) I was in Abbey Road
(Or the) or the time that I had
(I had) Mick Jagger on the phone
I thought of you when we spoke
Wanna tell you 'bout the time
Wanna tell you 'bout my life
Wanna play you all my songs
Hear your voice sing along
amén
Listened to it first out of my shitty laptop speakers and didn't rate it so chucked the headphones on and it was awesome
This is objectively a better version of the song
Fucking gold!
Guy Richie movie soundtrack contender...
Parker's remix is dope! Better than the original - the sound is more solid. It feels like less like a solo work and more like the Stones would have come out with collaboratively.
I found kind of Dead Weather vibes too but it's really good
KP the best❤
Zajebiste!!
Keveeen Parkeeeer
So that's when he got Mick Jagger on the phone then, huh?
The Stone Roses instead of The Rolling Stones? nice Mick
This is so much better than the ghost town song. Hopefully their new album is as good as this.
Tell ya about the time mick Jagger on the phone
*Hey boss take it easy on those pills*
the texture of mick's voice fits so well on this.
heHas musical intelligence, this is pure genius. keep mick's essence with a rough guitar on a funky disco background.
💚💙💜💛💖❤
I NEED A TAB FOR THIS, SOMEONE PLEASE.
you still need a tab?
i wonder if this is the story of having mick jagger on the phone
^this^
1:48 dumudumdumdum... Feels good
KEV ES DIOS
Fucking great groove!
💗💗💗💗💋💋💋💋love
kevin god
KEVIN FUCKIN PARKER
Strummer is smiling down from Heaven, but this is 2017, not 1977.
YOUNG PAT
anyone else hearing a bit of American Woman in this?
A bit. 👍
*Fahkeet intensifies*
I want something groovy from Kevin or Impala, I hope there is gonna be new album this year 2018 :P With featuring Mick Jagger and Ozzy Osbourne or King Gizzard and Lizzard Wizzard or Ty Segall :D :D :D
the falling from roof was bad part after pills
At the end of the song another guitar comes in, quite hard to hear. Can anyone help me identify the effect on the guitar?
holy shit. all i have to say about this
Hey boss, take it easy on those pills
