- Jason started getting mild cramps and pain, but he thought it was just stress. He then noticed blood in his stool. Despite being told at 36 he was too young for colon cancer, he listened to his gut feeling that something serious could be going on. He pushed to get a colonoscopy and he was diagnosed with stage 3B colon cancer.

Sorry can I just clarify...did the first colonscopy not locate the tumour😞 or it did but it wasn't considered malignant looking at the time and only after CT it became clear it was likely cancer?
I am so tired of doctors saying a small tumor can’t cause pain. Cancer hurts!

My PCP kept telling me my symptoms are psychological. I’m 45 with a VERY high ANA homogeneous pattern TITER which along with all my symptoms is signal cancer and or autoimmune disease.
I have diarrhea almost daily.
Back and joint pain
Unbalanced
Exhausted
Unable to get out of bed at times
Daily bloating
Stomach pains
Diarrhea right after eating
If they went straight to a PET scan they could tell what was wrong within a week jnstead of gaslighting patients telling them theyre too young, its in your head. Just stress
@ApostleOfZeus no its an outdated protocol of slowly ramping up the scans. Alot of places in the world don't even have pet scans available locally.
They go from x ray to CT to CT with contrast to mri to pet scan usually.....it's a joke if it's really about conserving resources they would go to the most diagnostically accurate for any metabolically active disease that's not an obvious laceration or fracture
Rusty, I thought the same. Why didn’t the experts scan him before doing a colonoscopy. Then his amazing doctor showed the tumor saying it was diverticulitis. Then he had a sigmoidoscopy then a colonoscopy, then a pet scan etc… Ridiculous.
True. However, it's pretty rare to go directly to a PET scan for what presents as minor problems.
@deirdrekiely6187 yes because it proves them wrong and their misdiagnosis right away and gives them no chance to gaslight you and cover it up while you slowly suffer and heal while they tell you it's in your head
@deirdrekiely6187 I had a pet scan right away and it showed I had tuberculosis that spread everywhere all over my lymph nodes from my jaw bone to sinus to lungs. Everywhere they covered up the pet scan results
My son was diagnosed with Stage 3b at age 33. The gastroenterologist said they are seeing more and more young people in 20’s and 30’s with colon ca. Don’t ever believe it can’t happen “because you are too young”! Insist on a colonoscopy.
But even when they do a colonoscopy on you some doctors are seeing the tumour but lying to there patients telling them that there's nothing in there and people are now walking around with tumors in them thinking that everything is ok and trusting there doctor , and dont tell me that it cant happen and you can trust the doctors well all I would say would say read Lynda Bellingham book and if all doctors are trusting what about lucy letby killing her own patients what about harold shipman what about Beverley allit and there only the ones that caught because trust me there are millions of doctors out there that are just like these loones that are currently going round doing what these other loones have been doing but the difference is they just haven't been caught , all I would say just dont trust doctors because if they really wanna kill you they can kill you and get away with it by saying that they missed the cancer just a mistake but trust ain't no mistake it was deliberately missed and they saw it but just told the patient that there was nothing there it's going on trust me the government no about it and the medical profession know that it's going on they wont admit but they choose to cover it up , but trust me because there is a place where low lifes go and that's down there 👇 where there rest of the low lifes go father forgive them for they know not what they do trust me these low lifes know exactly what there doing ........
Sorry to hear that. 😢 It’s the multinational corporations who are basically trying to kill us all through their industrial edible products/ultra processed food! Dr. Chris Van Tullekan convinced me of the danger of ultra processed food. Even bread is ultra processed now, it’s deceptive and evil. It’s no surprise that Big food is own by big tobacco. I try to eat like my grandparents as much as possible. If the food is wrapped in plastic and has ingredients not found in a normal kitchen, it’s likely bad for you.

Just bc a doctor says your pain couldn't been from a small tumor that's bull sht your body can feel it when it's that small bc it don't belong there yes hundred s of people ignore their symptoms until cancer grows large but other people feel it when it is smaller
doctors gaslighting patients should be a federal crime and should server 10-50 years in prison.
They just took out 90 percent of my uncle Bo Bo’s intestines after finding that 90 percent of his intestines were completely dead and just sitting in there rotting and he wasn’t supposed to survive the surgery but God and Jesus had other plans and it’s been weeks now and he is in a rehabilitation facility and is eating on his own and everything! Today is the first day he has had any troubles so if anybody out there would care to please keep him in your prayers thank you and God bless! 🙏

I'm a little confused by this story. He went from having a colonoscopy and the doctor showing him his tumor to presenting at the hospital with symptoms and then having a CT scan. What happened to the tumor that they found in the colonoscopy? Was that just left in there? No biopsy??
My brother died at 50 years old from missed colon cancer. Told he had diverticulitis and to stop eating nuts. Dead 1 year later.

@@matthewthomasjames Everyone in another country often think Canada has the best Medical System , however it is very controlled with Red Tape. I used to work for a nurse who would come home crying because she could see each day as she worked the Gas Lighting and the way patients have very obvious symptoms yet if the tests say Negative then the doctors go by the results and then drop it right there and do not further investigate for a solution. This has happened in many cases. It's like okay well if all my tests for that are negative then what else can it possibly be and can we keep going in this direction to find out? A doctor told me years ago " don't try to steer your own health care cause it will never work", They say be your own advocate and take your health into your own hands and when we try to do that we get Gas Lit.

@@powerofloveismI have never heard that Canada has a great health care system. I live in a state that borders Canada. I work with many Canadians. Many of them have to wait too long for treatment and surgeries due to the Canadian health care system and wind up coming to the US to pay out of pocket for the procedure right away.
I’m so over this outdated and, clearly negligent approach, in addressing diseases. Anyone is susceptible to colon cancer; it’s the third leading cause of cancer deaths and rising cancer cases, medical training needs to be in tune with todays statistics. Lower the age for colonoscopy screening to 35!!!!!!!

Only way to know it isn’t is get tested. And get all the RIGHT tests

This is happening to me right now as far as being gaslit by the hospitals and doctors but I have lost 15 pounds in 3 weeks without trying to and I am so sick all the time, it wakes me up every morning but my wife’s friend is close with the people at Duke where she had her pancreas removed and a small piece of it placed back in as only the 7th person to ever have this surgery and they said they were gonna make me a UNC profile and get me started out with a GI medicine doctor so I pray they finally figure out what’s going on cause they are making me feel like I’m crazy and it’s all just in my head but I know something is wrong with my stomach or my body in some way and I just want to know what it is! It’s been going on for years but the last few months have became way worst and I’m fading away to nothing.

Me to but I went to Nurse practitioner for two years after work I went back told her send me to someone that knows what's wrong with me . I had a colonoscopy an the surgeon said it was stage 3_4!it spread to conon.liver an rectal then stage 4 it was so bad I was so sick I'm a cancer carrier .I lost two sisters already now my memogram an other test is abnormal so I went back to see my surgeon I'm waiting for them to call back with my appointment s
I have litterally watched over 50 of these videos with people 30 to 45 with this cancer. Actually 1 was 28. Doctors need to reevaluate

Thanks for sharing your story. It seems a lot of younger people are being diagnosed these days and colorectal cancers are among the fastest growing instances. Under 40 is becoming not so rare.. The medical community is good but should not gaslight or downplay risk based on age, or physical condition ever.. Hope you are doing well. 🙏🙏
30 yr cousin was hospitalized and found out he has colon tumor needed surgery removal.
Jason had mild cramps in stomach then tiny amount of bleeding in stools.
He went to doctor.
Jason was told “ it’s not cancer”before any testing done
Had colonoscopy was told tumor was diverticulitis stress inflammation
Had CT scan was told it was a mass in his colon and enlarged lymph nodes
So the first colonoscopy didn’t find the tumor
Had sigmoidoscopy and biopsy
Had another colonoscopy
Then a resection of colon after removing tumor about 25 lymph nodes
7 lymph nodes were cancerous
Stage 3 B colon cancer diagnosis
Had another scan found lung node
Chemo some radiation
Keeping a watch on things

for a cancer that can be preventable, it should be one of those that is included in an annual check up especially for those that experience even ibs.

In the Residents defense. It would be beyond his practice/scope to diagnose a patient BEFORE he first speaks to his mentor. He might have told his Dr. it might be a good idea for a colonoscopy.
Why not CT Or Et scan before colonoscopy? The doctor somehow didn’t see the tumor and said it was diverticulitis or stress. Then he went for ct scan and it was found.

I’ve been getting abdominal cramps but it’s been more like on the abdominal wall rather than in the bowels. Weird but idk. Wish u the best

As a gastroenterologist I am so alarmed by the repeated stories of patients not being more proactive in there health issues.

Yep the whole run around that’s what happened to me when I was 25. I woke up one day and I was so bloated that I could barely breathe. I had never had any stomach problem my entire life. Then they told me they didn’t find anything so I got referred to UC Davis for a 2nd opinions they did a colonoscopy and endoscopy as well. And I never got a diagnosis. And I’m still suffering 10 years later.
Try carnivore diet. Fermented cabage. Pre and probiotics
If you are experiencing the same symptoms for a decade, then it may be functional. Try a diet change and see if it makes a difference.

You are so right! That needed to be said .No it wasn’t rude it was truthful! I am a stage 4 cancer patient, battleling colo rectal cancer for 6 yrs. It’s been one thing after another from the first.cancer spread , recurrence, dealing with side effects… I have learned so much from these videos an from others at the cancer centers! As much as I feel deeply for all the cancer patients, I also believe that some of them needed to be edited , to be able to help others going through it! Guidance to be Abel to express their story to help others, instead of getting off track ,telling every detail about personal things instead of symptoms, experiences with doctors what treatments, what diagnosis testing etc .. this was said with empathy.Thank you Jason your information was a prime example.I pray it helped many others🙏🏾
I can’t get over how Drs in general all come out with comments stating that you’re not the right age to get cancer. Cancer doesn’t care…it will attack anyone, either sex, any age. I’m not saying the Drs are not good, I really think mentality on this should change. Maybe some of these lovely folks wouldn’t end up being stage 4. Just saying. 😊❤️🇨🇦
Thank you for telling your story. Mine was caught so early 3.5 cm tumor. removing small part of sigmoid colon resolved my cancer. Get tested early please. I would not wish the surgery on any human.

@@RustyShakleford1 We are losing all of our specialists to other countries too because they claim they are not getting paid for their services here in Ontario especially , I live outside a small town where one doctor is serving several thousand, which in reality many people are falling through the cracks because every doctor who has come to this remote location only stays one year if that and they leave and quit because it can be isolating here with no night life for the younger doctors and nurses. It's even ridiculous to think one doctor can adequately treat thousands of patients , doctors are people too first, then they are doctors.

A family member had gone to different doctors for almost a decade. Nobody had an answer. Stomach cramping was all that was given as a diagnosis.. Treatment was given but they ended up going home and using their own treatment to inhibit it. Thankfully from stage 4 to in the clear when those doctors gave up on a treatment.
People wonder why i dont trust doctors. I end up treating myself with success.

I’ve got no medical background but I already know there’s going to be an increase in colon cancer because of modern diet and diagnosis will get younger. Not saying this man did anything wrong, it can definitely be genetic reasons but in a general sense
It really is disheartening that new doctors are coming out of medical school still believing younger folk can't get cancer. I'm not a doctor or have any medical training and I know it's certainly possible, just from all the video's I've watched on here. When are they going to realise that cancer does not discriminate. Makes me wonder how many people have died due to this out of date thinking..

Diet change has to happen he keeps reinfesting himself with steroid filled meat that has cancer germs i pray he will go plant based for 100 % good results. Crock pot steel cut oats with fruit will take away inflammation
