Oh God I can relate to this too much. I had bad stomach issues then regularly started crapping my pants. My stomach got so bad I was canceling plans. I had mucus, blood ect and was always having really foul smelling poops that never made me feel Empty. I finally saw a doctor. Had stool samples taken, blood work and when was nothing was found I had a scope. Alas there was a bleeding tumor. I was diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer at age 25.. I still wish I aware of resources and people to talk to when I felt like I would never feel normal again. I had two rounds of chemo and , a round of radiation and two surgeries. I had diarriah 10-20 times a day for 5 years and then gradually my bowels calmed down. I can't say my stomach is ever going to be great but it got better and hey, I'm alive. 12 years cancer free❤ congratulations to you❤❤
My Mum has been that way for getting on 10 years now - and yes she rarely ventures out too far. She usually needs to 'go' within about 15 mins of a meal. She had a stoma for about 6 years following bowl cancer and sometimes says things were far better then, before she was 're-plumbed' as she puts it.

I was diagnosed stage 4 colon cancer by the end of 2019 at the age of 39, undergone 13 cycles of chemo, 25 sessions of radio theraphy, 4 operations and atleast 3 more to go, to resolves complications. But i am cancer free now. Thanks be to God! Thank you for sharing your experience

I had similar symptoms. But luckily it was IBS, haemorrhoids and stress that were causing it. After a colonoscopy, it was luckily confirmed it was nothing serious. At the end of the day, it's better to rule out something serious than assuming that it's harmless.

I have problems with my colon for years. Sometimes there is also a little blood. But I think it's something else because it was the last time maybe a year ago and I feel very healthy. But still I think I have a high risk for colon cancer. Maybe I should go to a doc but I am afraid.
My GI told me it's just IBS after losing 20# in ¹4 days. Luckily, my service dog is smarter than him and alerted me that it was a gallbladder issue. Within 48 hours of the visit with my GI, I was undergoing am emergent gallbladder removal because it was necrotic. I was only a few hours from going septic
Thank you for sharing . I almost died of colin cancer Aug of 2023. The cancer in my colin was a hugh mass that was ready to burst. If I wouldn't have gone to the hospital that night it would have burst and I would have died. Iam still doing chemo. I finished my radiation and doing well. Please pray for me! I will pray for you and again thank you for sharing. We need to inform more people of this horrible cancer.
I had the same symptoms and diagnosis in 2015. I had stage 3 colorectal cancer at age 41. It was a very difficult fight but im still here in 2023. Thanks for sharing your story and remember to live your best life every day. God bless you.

I appreciate this honest, open, humble video. I had colonoscopy today because of some symptoms. Something no one talks about is that 1in 7 men is colorblind and can’t judge his own stool.
Something else no one ( I mean men mostly ) ever talks about is Penile Cancer, which I had at 54. It took 2 years to be correctly diagnosed after me pestering my GP that I just KNEW what I had was not right, which was a patch of ulcerated skin that just wouldn't heal on my togger. I knew it wasn't an STD! He gave me no end of creams to apply all with no improvement. It was raw and bled whenever I touched it, and it was getting bigger. Eventually, I insisted I see a skin specialist who sent me for a biopsy straight away. Once the biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of cancer I was sent for surgery right away within days. The first bout of butchery didn't get it all so I had to go under the knife a second time. The second time they were confident it had all been removed. Luckily I didn't have to have chemo, my oncologist suggested we see how things go before going down that route. That was 6 years ago now and all's well - best bit, I still have a togger that looks normal and works as it should. I said at the start that if it meant chopping it off, do it! but fortunately, my surgeon did a fantastic job saving my little man. My Mum had Bowel cancer twice and is a 15-year survivor now.
Can relate. I was diagnosed Stage 4 carcinoma rectal cancer after my first colonoscopy on July 27, 2023 (just turned 51 a day after my birthday). I had most symptoms like rectal bleeding, frequent bowl movements, fatigue, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and diarrhea now into fecal incontinence (wearing adult diapers due to loss control of bowel movements). My FML and health insurance come Dec. 2023 is expiring soon and had been denied of government help (state health insurance and SSI). Added stress; soon to be unemployed. Right in the middle of chemo treatments and IVF for dehydration. As I can see looks like a chemo port implant.
Your channel is the most informative one I’ve ever seen in relation to colorectal cancer, Ostomy, Ileostomy, Cancer in general and all the related treatments and side effects. I went through much the same as you in the last three years although my ileostomy hasn’t yet been reversed (fingers crossed that will happen next year).
Bleeding from your rectum and the nurse practitioner didn't do a rectal exam or immediately schedule a colonoscopy. Shaking my head, this is the 2nd time including myself that a nurse practitioner failed to recognize common cancer symptoms. I had uterine cancer and a nurse practitioner sent me home with an antibiotic!
Healthcare in the US is terrible and way overpriced. It's the level of care you can expect in a for-profit system. I've started going to Mexico for care.

Thank you for sharing your story. My son was diagnosed in 2019 with appendix cancer. Yes you can get it there. Your appendix is part of your colon. It is almost always found as stage 4. My son was stage 2. I'm so thankful for that. If you are ever told that you have a fecalith in your appendix request your appendix be removed ASAP.
This type of medical care is UNHEARD OF where I am. Your doctors listened to you and got you in very quickly after trying something for a week that didn't help.

My symptoms were...one day I had bloody diarrhea that resolved itself in a couple of hours, ten months later I had it again and it was getting worse. Both times I had no other symptoms, in fact, I felt great. That 5/20. Right hemicolectomy, Stage 3C, 12 rounds of chemo and have had NED since 1/21.
The bleeding should have been an immediate red flag to the practitioner. I had problems with hemorrhoids and minor bleeding and was sent for a colonoscopy straight away. Was just internal hemorrhoids and got them banded, but any bleeding should be investigated asap
I'm 56. I had a colonoscopy at age 4 and enemas throughout much of my young childhood, which traumatized me, so i'm not going to have another colonoscopy in my lifetime. I was AWAKE in 1971 when i had one and vividly remember it. Instead, i recently had the Colonguard test, which came back clear.
I’m sorry about your traumas. 💙 I just did the ColoGuard and mine came back positive. 😩 So scary. Now I have to do the colonoscopy anyway. I know there is like 14% false positives with ColoGuard and it doesn’t catch like 8%. Make sure you do this every few years if you stay that route.

Any rectal bleeding is cause for alarm. Bleeding from the Vag after meno also cause for uterine/endometrial cancer - get checked asap and do all screenings annually

About 4 years ago I read a WebMD article about younger folks getting CRC. Scary stuff. The woman's was caught in time. The man's was caught late but he survived; sadly, he will be using a ostomy bag for the rest of his life. Horrible thing. You can't be too careful...
Friends, please get in there and get a colonoscopy as soon as you are old enough for your health insurance to cover it, if not sooner. The procedure is really not a big deal. I believe many health plans will actually pay for the whole screening, with no copay. It is just that important to them, and I am sure that their actuaries have calculated the risk of having to pay for cancer treatments vs colonoscopies.
I have been presenting an odor in my gases but they are not frequent, yours was frequent, that is, frequency of fractulence and when you talk about loose stools, what was that like, did they have blood in them too??? Another question, did the gases with blood start before or after the antibiotics you took? That is really very useful information. If you can answer that, and it would be good that you tell us your story since it is taboo in young people, many doctors say that it does not happen to them.

I've been suffering with these symptoms for over 25 years, i paid for a CT virtual colonscopy quite a few years ago and it found nothing , i dont think it sees the small intestine very well.The worst part is fatigue comes on stronger about 10 mins after eating.Ive just been putting up with it and gave up trying to find answers, i have discomfort in my abdomen for over 25 years sometimes it's stronger some weeks more than others but never goes.
Have you ever looked into dumping syndrome or rapid gastric emptying. I have the same symptoms as you but when I eat to much carbs or sugar my farts are terrible and long and smell horrible, so embarrassing. Plus sometimes when I fart I poop a little or pee a little. Im still being checked for other stuff but so far they found the dumping syndrome and liver disease, I have an endoscopy coming up.

You're not younger than me, i was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at the age 21, year 2021 and had surgery and chemotherapy, but after almost 2 year's it get back.
Vegetarian...carbs...the second is the more important thing. I'm not surprised. You keep pushing insulin, you keep encouraging cell growth. Cancer cells also do fermentation, which requires glucose. Reduction is necessary.
My son had crohns and colitis. He was in Humira for many years. That kept both in remission, along with mesalamine. Unfortunately, he experienced of the rare side effects. Hodgkin's lymphoma. After treatment and being cancer free, his team of doctors started more testing to find out what could treat crohns without increasing the risk of cancer recurring. He's experienced similar bleeding as you described. He is taking prebiotic as well. I will send him this link and suggest that he stop the prebiotic. All of his screens have shown him to still be cancer free. The only colon signs are crohns and colitis. The colitis diagnosis was recently added. There is a new biologic that has no cancer risk side effects. He will be starting on that.
That sounds like a good thing that he’ll be switching medications. It’s important for him to keep going in regularly for colonoscopies and hopefully it’s just his condition causing his bleeding, but he should check in with his doctor to mention it just in case.
My father was put on Humira for his arthritis. He was 68 at the time. He developed large diffuse b cell lymphoma and died at 71. I think this was due to his immune system being suppressed by the Humira. I'm glad your son had a good outcome.👍

Also, my sister is in remission for adrenal cortical carcinoma and her cancer was found incidentally during a nasty bout of diverticulitis. Luckily, they found it in time. 💚💚. I’m having a lot of the same symptoms I have my first ever colonoscopy in a week and a half I have mucus every bowl movement and blood like every couple bowel movements horrible stomach pain nausea everyday when I wake up but new thing that started is blood clots so many blood clots when I have the blood I’m just curious on if you had any blood clots as well I have a bad feeling about this but also trying to stay positive I turned 36 In may
My Mom had pain in lower part of stomach and they easily connected it with endometriosis which she indeed had. And she was going and doing procedures for this. No gas, no extraordinary intestinal movements, no blood. Till the last months when pain started to be severe and she wasn’t able to stop it. Colorectal stage 4. Anyways, she survived it and after 10 years she has another type of cancer. What I want to say is maybe you should be more insisting talking with doctors, maybe a bit exaggerating because it’s so easy to lose your precious time. There are illnesses that people create with their own habits - drinking, smoking, being morbidly overweight. But when you have normal lifestyle with no addictions and out of nowhere you get strange symptoms- go and insist on being checked up.
Congrats to your mom for surviving a stage 4 CRC diagnosis for 10 years. That sucks she has another type of cancer now, hopefully she can survive that one too.
4 years ago I had my first colonoscopy and one 3mm benign polyp was removed. I would be insisting on one if I had any unusual symptoms at all that lasted more than a couple weeks.
In 2006 I had just finished my AA and was going to go live on campus at University. The entire summer I was bleeding and even my dad who was a doctor kept saying it would stop. I moved on campus anyways. I became anemic and passed out in Golf Class around Halloween. I drove my self to the hospital and they found a tumor the size of an orange.
Hello. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2018. Just like you ik had blood in stools. After scans it was said that i had metastases in lympf nodes and liver and that only palleative care was possible. I got a second opinion in the AVL in Amsterdam ( a cancer hospital in the Netherlands and more was possible there. After chemotherapy and radiation i had surgery. ( fortunately it turned out that there was no cancer in my liver) I was goung to get a tempory stoma but they were able to prevent that. Unfortunately after a week things went wrong. The suture started to leak and i had to be operated again urgently. After this operation i did have a stome en unfortunately not a temporary one. But i have no problem with a stoma i have a good live with it. And i am still here after 5 years and have no longer any problems. 😄
No joke, when I had severe UC my farts smelled like death. I remember coworkers walking into the company bathroom and gagging. I remember one employee screaming "OH MY GOD! IT SMELLS LIKE BURNED TIRES IN HERE!" before walking out while coughing. It literally took all of my willpower and focus to hold back laughter and not reveal it was me. I don't care, seeing my coworkers walking in while not knowing what was waiting for them and seeing theit total shock and disgust was sometimes absolutely hilarious. Many days were ruined because of me. The thing is, with UC I genuinely couldn't help it. While I cherished those moments everything else was awful.
I wonder if there's something in our modern diets that makes this type of cancer more probable than in the past? Completely guessing here but I bet artificial sweeteners and some other chemicals are present in our food now that weren't there before.
I was just told today that a polyp removed during a colonoscopy two days ago was cancerous. I have a CT scan on April 2nd and will have a surgical consult after that. Hopefully this was caught early but at this point I have no way of knowing. As you can image I’ve been all over the internet reading up on the prognosis which ultimately brought me here.
Luckily the CT scan should tell you if it’s spread anywhere, but if it was able to be fully removed during the colonoscopy there’s a good chance it hasn’t spread anywhere else 🤞🏼Wishing you the best as you go through these next steps.

I’m honestly scared I have colon cancer. I have a colonoscopy on 10/30. I do have UC but I hate how doctors minimize it just bc you’re young. I’m 33, but I don’t want to wait till my 40s for these procedures.

I am struggling. ..have lost weight the last year.. 6kg. Have had more frequent diarrea the last year.. then 12 qeeks ago bloatiness major gas. Abdominal pain and back pain.. weird symptoms indicating poor cirkulation in feet.. i have struggled with stess the last with divorce with kids involved.. my stool shows signs of indigestion and occasionally a fat stool. I had my blood checked on the 24/4 this spring.. nothing came up.. a ct skan showed nothing at the gallbladder or pancreas. A small lowattentiating area on the liver and a small cyst like strukture on the bottom of the left kidney.. i feel of.. weird muscle aches att times.. i am worried that the things on my liver and kidney are initial secondary tumors and the main tumor is hiding somewhere.. apparently 1/3 of pancreatic cancers are misssed on imaging. ..
Any insight in how the probiotic and bleeding were correlated? I feel like people slam those but I’m not so sure they’re meant to be taken with the strength and frequency that we do.
My partner literally pressurise when he goes to toilet every morning . Everything which I eat he eats, even he walks a lot too. But he literally have to push so hard every day. I know its not normal but no doctor is doing nothing by saying everyone’s bowl moment is different. He has liquid stool many a times . Snd he recently had pain in right side of stomach . But I don’t know what should I do if doctors are not raking my words seriously.
Researchers are hopefully looking into this. There are a lot of environmental things that have changed in the past 100 years, including our food, so there is a lot to look at.
Hi. ❤️. Love your channel. Have a quick question. I just went through rectal cancer treatment. I had very low recital cancer. 3 cm from anal verge. Being ultra low my original surgeon recommended a permanent colostomy. Not wanting they I got 4 more opinions and found a surgeon who did a great job removing the cancer without permanent stoma. I had a temp loop ilieostomy for 3 months and just 3 days ago had the reversal surgery. I watched your video on your experience the first day after and I went through the same toilet ordeal! Now a few days removed the diarrhea has subsided but now I can’t control when I go and have had numerous accidents 😞. I’m wearing an adult diaper throughout the day as I don’t have time to get to the bathroom if I happen to go out. My dr says I will have a lot of urgency especially in the beginning. My question is When did your urgency get better ( if at all) , is their a certain diet you have found that works best?,, is there exercises you have done to help with that part of the body, I can’t remember how low your cancer was? I really appreciate the help in advance as I’m really nervous about this long term as I can’t see myself living like this forever. The ilieostomy was no picnic 🧺 but at least it was manageable. Congrats on making it through treatment and getting your ileostomy reversed!🥳 The urgency improved with time, a low-residue diet, then adding in psyllium husk after a few weeks. After 2 weeks was when I started to see improvement and didn't have to rush to the bathroom as soon as I stood up, so hang in there.
@@angelfirelite change your eating habits? Lol.. yeah how about eating whole grains right? Fruit veggies? Except there all tainted with pesticides. Eat salmon? Sure except farm raised and fresh water both have pollutants. Chicken is pumped full of antibiotics. Name me some thing and I guarantee its not as safe as you think
As ordinary people I think we should say if we have blood or change in routine we should assume we have cancer. If you go to a doctor saying they have blood they will say you have piles. If you say you have changes in smell they will say that is because of your diet. Better to request for exclusion of cancer. I think the problem is with us who don't want to think we have cancer. If you don't do this they will say you have IBS which should really be the last thing you think of. I realise this could be expensive. In my country (UK) doctors only think of the cost to investigate. In USA I imagine people are worried how much it would cost them.
My saxophone player was diagnosed with rectal cancer at 33 years old. He had begun working out, and started bleeding from his anus after workouts, which the doctors contributed to straining. A few months later he was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer. He died three years later.
I found out yesterday that some of the tissue that the surgeon removed from around my stoma during the reversal was sent to pathology and it came back with a very small group of adenocarcinoma so I get have some more chemo not too clear on length but I'm not getting oxaliplatin this round he wants to get some genetics to determine the new drug 5fu is happening It was a very small group of cells believed to be from my 1st surgery too small too see on scan💙💙 Hope you are well and 😊
hey love! I’m not suffering from cancer as of right now. But apparently nutrient deficiency could be a result of cancer? I’ve got chronic tonsilitis, like really really bad for decades. No doctor wants to infere and they all say it’s normal? but my body is not normal anymore. I pass stools perhaps 10 times a day for years and I cannot absorb calcium no matter what I do. Please, is there anything to help?
I’ve never heard of chronic tonsillitis. I’m not a doctor, so my only suggestion would be to go on another hunt for one that will listen to you and try to help.
Soon as you said you're a vegetarian a light bulb came up. Vegetarians /vegans may have reduced cancer risks in many other areas but increased cancer risks to the colon. I'm not making this up. There are plethora of research on this topic.

I had similar symptoms. But luckily it was IBS, haemorrhoids and stress that were causing it. After a colonoscopy, it was luckily confirmed it was nothing serious. At the end of the day, it's better to rule out something serious than assuming that it's harmless.

I have problems with my colon for years. Sometimes there is also a little blood. But I think it's something else because it was the last time maybe a year ago and I feel very healthy.
But still I think I have a high risk for colon cancer. Maybe I should go to a doc but I am afraid.
My GI told me it's just IBS after losing 20# in ¹4 days. Luckily, my service dog is smarter than him and alerted me that it was a gallbladder issue. Within 48 hours of the visit with my GI, I was undergoing am emergent gallbladder removal because it was necrotic. I was only a few hours from going septic
Thank you for sharing . I almost died of colin cancer Aug of 2023. The cancer in my colin was a hugh mass that was ready to burst. If I wouldn't have gone to the hospital that night it would have burst and I would have died. Iam still doing chemo. I finished my radiation and doing well. Please pray for me! I had colonoscopy today because of some symptoms.
Something no one talks about is that 1in 7 men is colorblind and can’t judge his own stool.

Something else no one ( I mean men mostly ) ever talks about is Penile Cancer, which I had at 54. It took 2 years to be correctly diagnosed after me pestering my GP that I just KNEW what I had was not right, which was a patch of ulcerated skin that just wouldn't heal on my togger. I knew it wasn't an STD! He gave me no end of creams to apply all with no improvement. It was raw and bled whenever I touched it, and it was getting bigger. Eventually, I insisted I see a skin specialist who sent me for a biopsy straight away. Once the biopsy confirmed the diagnosis of cancer I was sent for surgery right away within days. The first bout of butchery didn't get it all so I had to go under the knife a second time. The second time they were confident it had all been removed. Luckily I didn't have to have chemo, my oncologist suggested we see how things go before going down that route. That was 6 years ago now and all's well - best bit, I still have a togger that looks normal and works as it should. I said at the start that if it meant chopping it off, do it! but fortunately, my surgeon did a fantastic job saving my little man. My Mum had Bowel cancer twice and is a 15-year survivor now.
Can relate. I was diagnosed Stage 4 carcinoma rectal cancer after my first colonoscopy on July 27, 2023 (just turned 51 a day after my birthday). I had most symptoms like rectal bleeding, frequent bowl movements, fatigue, loss of appetite, abdominal pain, and diarrhea now into fecal incontinence (wearing adult diapers due to loss control of bowel movements).
My FML and health insurance come Dec. 2023 is expiring soon and had been denied of government help (state health insurance and SSI). Added stress; soon to be unemployed. Right in the middle of chemo treatments and IVF for dehydration.
As I can see looks like a chemo port implant.
Cancer should be a standardized initial test. After that clears then check for nothing else. At best!
Your channel is the most informative one I’ve ever seen in relation to colorectal cancer, Ostomy, Ileostomy, Cancer in general and all the related treatments and side effects. I went through much the same as you in the last three years although my ileostomy hasn’t yet been reversed (fingers crossed that will happen next year).

Bleeding from your rectum and the nurse practitioner didn't do a rectal exam or immediately schedule a colonoscopy. Shaking my head, this is the 2nd time including myself that a nurse practitioner failed to recognize common cancer symptoms. I had uterine cancer and a nurse practitioner sent me home with an antibiotic!
Healthcare in the US is terrible and way overpriced. It's the level of care you can expect in a for-profit system. I've started going to Mexico for care.

Thank you for sharing your story. My son was diagnosed in 2019 with appendix cancer. Yes you can get it there. Your appendix is part of your colon. It is almost always found as stage 4. My son was stage 2. I'm so thankful for that. If you are ever told that you have a fecalith in your appendix request your appendix be removed ASAP.

At the minimum, she should have been sent to a gastroenterologist. It might have been hemorrhoids.
My symptoms were...one day I had bloody diarrhea that resolved itself in a couple of hours, ten months later I had it again and it was getting worse. Both times I had no other symptoms, in fact, I felt great. That 5/20. Right hemicolectomy, Stage 3C, 12 rounds of chemo and have had NED since 1/21.

The bleeding should have been an immediate red flag to the practitioner. I had problems with hemorrhoids and minor bleeding and was sent for a colonoscopy straight away. Was just internal hemorrhoids and got them banded, but any bleeding should be investigated asap

I'm 56. I had a colonoscopy at age 4 and enemas throughout much of my young childhood, which traumatized me, so i'm not going to have another colonoscopy in my lifetime. I was AWAKE in 1971 when i had one and vividly remember it. Instead, i recently had the Colonguard test, which came back clear.
I’m sorry about your traumas. 💙 I just did the ColoGuard and mine came back positive. 😩 So scary. Now I have to do the colonoscopy anyway. I know there is like 14% false positives with ColoGuard and it doesn’t catch like 8%. Make sure you do this every few years if you stay that route.

Any rectal bleeding is cause for alarm. Bleeding from the Vag after meno also cause for uterine/endometrial cancer - get checked asap and do all screenings annually

About 4 years ago I read a WebMD article about younger folks getting CRC. Scary stuff. The woman's was caught in time. The man's was caught late but he survived; sadly, he will be using a ostomy bag for the rest of his life. Horrible thing.

Friends, please get in there and get a colonoscopy as soon as you are old enough for your health insurance to cover it, if not sooner. The procedure is really not a big deal.
I believe many health plans will actually pay for the whole screening, with no copay. It is just that important to them, and I am sure that their actuaries have calculated the risk of having to pay for cancer treatments vs colonoscopies.

I have been presenting an odor in my gases but they are not frequent, yours was frequent, that is, frequency of fractulence and when you talk about loose stools, what was that like, did they have blood in them too??? Another question, did the gases with blood start before or after the antibiotics you took? That is really very useful information. If you can answer that, and it would be good that you tell us your story since it is taboo in young people, many doctors say that it does not happen to them.
Love your channel those were my beginning stages no blood that I could see had my first infusion last week, only side effects so far the cold liquids glass feeling going down my throat , I’m 51 and they found mine started capecitabine fourth day just fatigue so far been able to still go to work part time. I've been suffering with these symptoms for over 25 years, i paid for a CT virtual colonscopy quite a few years ago and it found nothing , i dont think it sees the small intestine very well.The worst part is fatigue comes on stronger about 10 mins after eating.Ive just been putting up with it and gave up trying to find answers, i have discomfort in my abdomen for over 25 years sometimes it's stronger some weeks more than others but never goes.

Have you ever looked into dumping syndrome or rapid gastric emptying. I have the same symptoms as you but when I eat to much carbs or sugar my farts are terrible and long and smell horrible, so embarrassing. Plus sometimes when I fart I poop a little or pee a little. Im still being checked for other stuff but so far they found the dumping syndrome and liver disease, I have an endoscopy coming up.

Yes, it is! That’s why it’s so important to get checked out by a doctor if you’re having these symptoms because that’s the only way to tell what exactly is causing them.
My baby had these symptoms for months. He got diagnosed with ulcerative colitis at 22 months old. I was terrified it was cancer.

My son had crohns and colitis.
He was in Humira for many years. That kept both in remission, along with mesalamine.
Unfortunately, he experienced of the rare side effects. Hodgkin's lymphoma.
After treatment and being cancer free, his team of doctors started more testing to find out what could treat crohns without increasing the risk of cancer recurring.
He's experienced similar bleeding as you described. He is taking prebiotic as well. I will send him this link and suggest that he stop the prebiotic.
All of his screens have shown him to still be cancer free. The only colon signs are crohns and colitis. The colitis diagnosis was recently added.
There is a new biologic that has no cancer risk side effects. He will be starting on that.
That sounds like a good thing that he’ll be switching medications. It’s important for him to keep going in regularly for colonoscopies and hopefully it’s just his condition causing his bleeding, but he should check in with his doctor to mention it just in case.
My father was put on Humira for his arthritis. He was 68 at the time. He developed large diffuse b cell lymphoma and died at 71. I think this was due to his immune system being suppressed by the Humira. I'm glad your son had a good outcome.👍

I’m having a lot of the same symptoms I have my first ever colonoscopy in a week and a half I have mucus every bowl movement and blood like every couple bowel movements horrible stomach pain nausea everyday when I wake up but new thing that started is blood clots so many blood clots when I have the blood I’m just curious on if you had any blood clots as well I have a bad feeling about this but also trying to stay positive I turned 36 In may

My Mom had pain in lower part of stomach and they easily connected it with endometriosis which she indeed had. And she was going and doing procedures for this. No gas, no extraordinary intestinal movements, no blood. Till the last months when pain started to be severe and she wasn’t able to stop it. Colorectal stage 4. Anyways, she survived it and after 10 years she has another type of cancer. What I want to say is maybe you should be more insisting talking with doctors, maybe a bit exaggerating because it’s so easy to lose your precious time. There are illnesses that people create with their own habits - drinking, smoking, being morbidly overweight. But when you have normal lifestyle with no addictions and out of nowhere you get strange symptoms- go and insist on being checked up.
Congrats to your mom for surviving a stage 4 CRC diagnosis for 10 years. That sucks she has another type of cancer now, hopefully she can survive that one too.

4 years ago I had my first colonoscopy and one 3mm benign polyp was removed. I would be insisting on one if I had any unusual symptoms at all that lasted more than a couple weeks.

In 2006 I had just finished my AA and was going to go live on campus at University. The entire summer I was bleeding and even my dad who was a doctor kept saying it would stop. I moved on campus anyways. I became anemic and passed out in Golf Class around Halloween. I drove my self to the hospital and they found a tumor the size of an orange.

Hello. I was diagnosed with rectal cancer in 2018. Just like you ik had blood in stools. After scans it was said that i had metastases in lympf nodes and liver and that only palleative care was possible. I got a second opinion in the AVL in Amsterdam ( a cancer hospital in the Netherlands and more was possible there. After chemotherapy and radiation i had surgery. ( fortunately it turned out that there was no cancer in my liver) I was goung to get a tempory stoma but they were able to prevent that. Unfortunately after a week things went wrong. The suture started to leak and i had to be operated again urgently. After this operation i did have a stome en unfortunately not a temporary one. But i have no problem with a stoma i have a good live with it. And i am still here after 5 years and have no longer any problems. 😄

No joke, when I had severe UC my farts smelled like death. I remember coworkers walking into the company bathroom and gagging. I remember one employee screaming "OH MY GOD! IT SMELLS LIKE BURNED TIRES IN HERE!" before walking out while coughing. It literally took all of my willpower and focus to hold back laughter and not reveal it was me. I don't care, seeing my coworkers walking in while not knowing what was waiting for them and seeing theit total shock and disgust was sometimes absolutely hilarious. Many days were ruined because of me.
The thing is, with UC I genuinely couldn't help it. While I cherished those moments everything else was awful.

I wonder if there's something in our modern diets that makes this type of cancer more probable than in the past? Completely guessing here but I bet artificial sweeteners and some other chemicals are present in our food now that weren't there before.
I was just told today that a polyp removed during a colonoscopy two days ago was cancerous. I have a CT scan on April 2nd and will have a surgical consult after that. Hopefully this was caught early but at this point I have no way of knowing. As you can image I’ve been all over the internet reading up on the prognosis which ultimately brought me here.
Luckily the CT scan should tell you if it’s spread anywhere, but if it was able to be fully removed during the colonoscopy there’s a good chance it hasn’t spread anywhere else 🤞🏼Wishing you the best as you go through these next steps.

I am struggling. ..have lost weight the last year.. 6kg. Have had more frequent diarrea the last year.. then 12 qeeks ago bloatiness major gas. Abdominal pain and back pain.. weird symptoms indicating poor cirkulation in feet.. i have struggled with stess the last with divorce with kids involved.. my stool shows signs of indigestion and occasionally a fat stool. I had my blood checked on the 24/4 this spring.. nothing came up.. a ct skan showed nothing at the gallbladder or pancreas. A small lowattentiating area on the liver and a small cyst like strukture on the bottom of the left kidney.. i feel of.. weird muscle aches att times.. i am worried that the things on my liver and kidney are initial secondary tumors and the main tumor is hiding somewhere.. apparently 1/3 of pancreatic cancers are misssed on imaging. ..

I feel like people slam those but I’m not so sure they’re meant to be taken with the strength and frequency that we do.
My partner literally pressurise when he goes to toilet every morning . Everything which I eat he eats, even he walks a lot too. But he literally have to push so hard every day. I know its not normal but no doctor is doing nothing by saying everyone’s bowl moment is different.
He has liquid stool many a times . Snd he recently had pain in right side of stomach . But I don’t know what should I do if doctors are not raking my words seriously.
Can you see a different doctor and demand they do tests?

Hi. ❤️. Love your channel. Have a quick question. I just went through rectal cancer treatment. I had very low recital cancer. 3 cm from anal verge. Being ultra low my original surgeon recommended a permanent colostomy. Not wanting they I got 4 more opinions and found a surgeon who did a great job removing the cancer without permanent stoma. I had a temp loop ilieostomy for
3 months and just 3 days ago had the reversal surgery. I watched your video on your experience the first day after and I went through the same toilet ordeal! Now a few days removed the diarrhea has subsided but now I can’t control when I go and have had numerous accidents 😞.
I’m wearing an adult diaper throughout the day as I don’t have time to get to the bathroom if I happen to go out. My dr says I will have a lot of urgency especially in the beginning.
My question is When did your urgency get better ( if at all) , is their a certain diet you have found that works best?,, is there exercises you have done to help with that part of the body,

Congrats on making it through treatment and getting your ileostomy reversed!🥳 The urgency improved with time, a low-residue diet, then adding in psyllium husk after a few weeks. After 2 weeks was when I started to see improvement and didn't have to rush to the bathroom as soon as I stood up, so hang in there.
CHANGE your eating habits, lot's of books, info on line! Our guts are not a garbage dump!!!!!!

Sure except farm raised and fresh water both have pollutants. Chicken is pumped full of antibiotics. Name me some thing and I guarantee its not as safe as you think

As ordinary people I think we should say if we have blood or change in routine we should assume we have cancer. If you go to a doctor saying they have blood they will say you have piles. If you say you have changes in smell they will say that is because of your diet. Better to request for exclusion of cancer. I think the problem is with us who don't want to think we have cancer. If you don't do this they will say you have IBS which should really be the last thing you think of. I realise this could be expensive. In my country (UK) doctors only think of the cost to investigate. In USA I imagine people are worried how much it would cost them.

My saxophone player was diagnosed with rectal cancer at 33 years old. He had begun working out, and started bleeding from his anus after workouts, which the doctors contributed to straining. A few months later he was diagnosed with stage IV rectal cancer. He died three years later.

I found out yesterday that some of the tissue that the surgeon removed from around my stoma during the reversal was sent to pathology and it came back with a very small group of adenocarcinoma so I get have some more chemo not too clear on length but I'm not getting oxaliplatin this round he wants to get some genetics to determine the new drug 5fu is happening
It was a very small group of cells believed to be from my 1st surgery too small too see on scan💙💙

No doctor wants to infere and they all say it’s normal?

I’ve never heard of chronic tonsillitis. I’m not a doctor, so my only suggestion would be to go on another hunt for one that will listen to you and try to help.
Soon as you said you're a vegetarian a light bulb came up. Vegetarians /vegans may have reduced cancer risks in many other areas but increased cancer risks to the colon. I'm not making this up. There are plethora of research on this topic.
