- The OG cheese potato bread captured my attention when I was searching for bread recipes on UA-cam. It has garnered more than 50M+ views on @table_diary - it looks so simple and is definitely very satisfying to watch. I veganized it and hope you like it too! :)

Ingredients:
120 g all-purpose flour
¼ tsp salt
¼ baking powder
75 g plant milk room temperature (used Oatly)
1 tablespoon vegan butter softened, plus more for cooking
1 medium-sized potato
1 tablespoon nutritional yeast
salt to taste
a handful of chopped green onions
1½ tablespoons vegan mayo
vegan cheese, as much your heart desires :)

Nutritional yeast is a deactivated yeast.

Nutritional yeast gives vegan food a cheesy taste. Plus (if you look at dr Michael Greger and his Nutritionfacts) the science says that nutritional yeast helps fight against infections! Do try and find it. If you like cheese, then I bet you'll be glad you did 😊👍
P.s. If your cheesy thing needs to be more yellow, consider adding 1/4 teaspoon turmeric and a tiny dash of black pepper to activate turmeric's anti-inflammatory properties. Turmeric is a spice widely used in India. Also known (unfairly) as poor man's saffron, it's not spicy, but you might wanna keep it away from your clothes because of its coloring capabilities.

Can I use oat flour for this recipe?
