I really loved this first apartment. Most tiny apartments are so claustrophobic to me but this one is so cozy looking
this one is quite spacious compared to the other tiny apartments i have seen and honestly yeah those gives me phobia.. But This one is perfect! I would love to live here.
@@Farzana831cute name and pfp, hehe
Except imagine having to pee in the middle of the night..
@@Catherine.Dorian. keep a bottle for the lazy.
@@speedy01247 I more meant falling down the ladder then being too lazy lol. Or if you got drunk and had to go up and down that ladder for bed..
Mom: where you living?
Me: you know, under some train tracks
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
🤣🤣🤣
700th like
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It might look nice, but no thanks, especially under the trai tracks 😱 Too claustrophobic for me
Living under the bridge has never been so luxurious.
I was waiting for train pass by to hear and likely feel how loud it was. Better hope they never have what's called a thrown piston.
@@attnielthomas7856
I was thinking the same thing 🤔🫢😵
May not be but with rent and the cost to own your own home it maybe cheaper, most wouldn't want to live there
@spookhidde ▪︎ ... until the troll comes out from under the bridge!
That tub/shower combo is amazing
Japanese people usually wash first outside of the bathtub than get in the tub so they won't be soaking in dirty water. Most houses in Japan have separate shower and bath areas
That was selling it to me. It’s so spacious for a tiny flat. I love Japanese bathrooms layouts, would love to build one in my own home one day.
You didn't mention what the train sounds like when it goes over head.
He mentioned it in the full video and you barely hear it apparently (couldn't hear it in the video either). There's a space between the appartment and the train tracks that functions as sound proofing
@@yowo6105that's great to hear.
Honestly, metro north is very hard to hear unless it has the horn. Sometimes when I'm at the station, I'm amazed at how quietly it can just head in and stop at the station. But there are tunnels underneath and with it connected, I can hear the train leave when I'm in the tunnel. When it's not connected, I don't think it'll make noise.
Japanese trains are actually fairly quiet due to how they are engineered.
About someone worry for vibration .Japanese are used to frequent earthquakes so I am sure these don't get much vibration.
I could totally live in one of these for a first time apartment. You don't have to buy too much stuff, you have everything you need and it is cosy.
Clearly never heard a train going overhead.... It will shake your whole place every 10ish minutes
@@seanmoran6683 i have, used to live near a traintrack. You get used it.
@@seanmoran6683 slight inconvenience for me, would definitely live here
@@Theturtleowl I feel like it would be a whole lot different living under one though. I might be wrong who knows 🤷
I would like to live in that... It looks cool.
Smart use of space. As for the noise I have lived near train tracks before (granted, not under them) and you get used to it. Using spaces under train tracks, off ramps, elevated freeways, etc should be one part of solving the homeless crisis
Japan is just a big ass gadget ❤
I would love to have an apartment like this in my area…it has all the essentials and storage!
I mean, I dunno about literally living under the train tracks
Imagine you're sleeping peacefully until the train comes💀☠️
Fantastic little apartment. My only worry is if they are sound insulated against the trains.
Yes🥰
Nope, I love living in a big house without other humans
everyone gansta until the train reminds you this apartment was built under train tracks
a train goes over in the full video. he said he can barely hear it and theres no vibration either
Track isolators and sound walls do wonders.
@ElCarnivoroBBQ I was wondering about that. My only other problem is that bath looks small AF
Homeless people won't mind -- especially the working homeless who have jobs but can't afford a place to live.
@ElCarnivoroBBQwell sorry to say but In japan house are made of ply wood and support structures and if they don't have sound proofing. This is same as Us
It's a beautiful apartment, I like it.
If they tossed a few more warm colors in there instead of painting the whole place white it’d actually be a really cozy apartment
The occupant could bring in colour with accessories. Painting it white provides a blank canvas which is easy to maintain and will appeal to a broader range of people.
@@djlivvy46 I meant the counters and furnishings that aren’t loose like cabinets lol, not just the walls
White is specifically used to make the eyes believe it is a more spacious area than it is because it reflects all light. White is ideal if you're trying to sell a small space.
It might be tiny but I can see myself living there. I would love to live there because in my area renting is so crazy.
This is Exactly the size I personally want for a home. Maybe 1 more room of equal size but that's Less for me and more for guests, If i can collapses the ladder during the day (Or when i dont need to go to the loft) then its Absolutely perfect.
where are you from ?
I can guarantee you that the rent on this place is probably incredibly high.
@@unusualsuspect980 probably extra for the regular house massages
As someone who lives close to a train you don't want to live there
Landlord: That’ll be $2800 a month, one in advance.
This one is about 90,000Y (around 635usd) and it included utilities 👀👀
@@DarkDreams948sold; I’ll take one pls !
@@DarkDreams948thank God I live in india
Our monthly rent is 110$ monthly and 500$ deposit.
@@DarkDreams948how do you know is there a web?
It's more expensive there because people there have higher wages, it's lower in India because Indian minimum wage is much much lower@@raffrodog121
Really wish these tiny places were more widespread...with the cost of living now, so many people cant afford a lot of places, it would be awesome to build these for the poor working folk
problem is that just a 1 room apartment cost almost as much as a 2 room apartment to make.
and you can charge 20-50% more for a 2+ room then a basic 1 room micro apartment.
According to the video they're meant to be affordable student housing!
Problem is, "tiny homes" now cost $40k. This shit's not as cheap as it should be--they're scalping the HELL out of "affordable" housing.
Hell, cars are costing $40k now with nothing special about them... 😒
@@renakiyama9476 So exactly what we need then, hell you could have two people living here even
@@renakiyama9476Affordable? I hope it isn’t like our flat prices here in Singapore… seriously. Flats here are expensive to hell and back, I don’t even know in the future (I am currently 14, going 15) if I will be able to live a steady life in a decent home, let alone a house!

Also has a few thousand tons of rail traffic thundering right over your head every thirty- seven minutes.
@@iknklst but it has AC :D
Thats a nice tiny apartment. The loft really makes it all work😊
I hope they got the levitating trains cuz I don’t want 24/7 sounds of trains above me.
Haha, the train doesn't run 24 hours a day, there is a 5 hour break during the night.
Dude levitating trains don’t just get rid of sound they’re still very loud
@@AdumzzinthehouseAt least it'll be quicker.
Dude legit. Every one talkin about how nice it is but forgetting the mind splintering racket that would be going on above them. It aint the size that makes these cheap i gaurentee
Japanese Trains are way quieter than MTA Trains.
As a railfan, I would be going insane.
I would definitely live there. It’s good if you’re young and you might not want to spend all your money on a bigger place. It’s so cute and cozy and honestly I might have chosen it over any other apartment if it weren’t next to noisy train tracks
That’s actually spacious! especially if only one person would use it.
could fit 4, A bit uncomfortable but it can work out. 2 in the loft and 2 on a floor futon. Both couples. although that would be like an Extreme situation. at most just 2 people who are comfortable sleeping together is perfectly fine.
I wouldn't be able to sleep on that bed. I would have nightmares of being trapped inside a coffin.
Do you just not know what spacious means?
@@krich451it’s subjective. for me, it is.
Looks great, I would actually live there. Only thing is I would make the desk smaller and but a couch there
I'd be concerned about the train sounds
Exactly!
@@Gammera2000that's probably what could make it much cheaper. I'd live there and be fine with it, use noise cancelling headphones or earplugs at night, simple.
Also used to live right next to train tracks. (They were in my backyard basically) Big scary noises train don't offend me.
The only problem is I would have to give up so much to live there.
This one has been my favorite so far, I would absolutely live here
Love it ❤
That's a pretty amazing apartment.
I wish you would have showed it when a train was going over it. Does it shake a bunch as well as being very loud? What an interesting location
It will not shake but you still may hear a sound of approaching airplane .
That’s a nice Hole in the Wall 🤨
Watch the whole video. He mentions a train passes while he's inside but it's not audible in the video
that bathroom is gorgeous
This apartment looks realy great
One of my favorite small apartment! This would be heaven when I was a uni student! 😁
That looks perfect for a single person or even a couple. Not much to clean, very well laid out. Awesome. 😎
From micro apartments to tiny houses I’ve always felt that I need very little space to happily live. Love the apartment!
Beautiful✨❤
I woke up thinking about this video and this short is posted lol love it
This looks legitimately comfy! I wouldn’t mind living here even despite the train tracks.
That looks so cozy and warm. I'd be more then happy to have such small place of my own
If I wasn't such a light sleeper, I think this one is amazing.
Must be a very peaceful and quiet apartment.
Are you forgetting that it’s literally underneath train tracks you never have a peaceful night in this apartment literally ever

@@Roastpaperover9000- r/whoosh.
These apartments are amazingly compact and well designed, but one thing people seem to forget is they are literally built under train tracks, i cant imagine having a bad day at work getting home all exhausted trying to relax or sleep just for a train to interrupt my peaceful time, and i dont think it is even a case of "getting used to" since trains are really loud especially the ones that straight up move over your head
I grew up near train tracks, and it's amazing how quickly you get used to the "noise". In fact, i find it relaxing.
Near train tracks is not the same as underneath train tracks.
I'm always amazed how you can go up and down those ladders so effortlessly. Its amazing to say the least bro love your videos.
The timing is perfect!
I don't know why you get hate for tiny apartment tours. They're incredibly interesting. Also do you go to the star festival? Tanabata?
I think tiny apartments are fascinating.
Haters may just be trolls because anyone who frequents this channel knows what the content is going to be like. 🤷♀️
They’re mostly conspiracy theorists who think I’m trying to shift the worlds population into “tiny boxes” 😂
But there’s much much more than that too
A lot of fun crazies lol
@@TokyoLens The thing is well , overpopulation pushes nations to make people live in a "Coffin house" ... lived in one for 5months on a job ... so yeah, can understand the outrage
I have to wonder if these are also people who are in support of hostile architecture. Tiny apartments, while not ideal, can be viable solution to homelessness and high housing costs. I really wish humanity would grow out of this phase where they think bigger is better.
@@hfric These places are way better than the college dorm I was stuffed in in college. Also these are not supposed to be forever homes.
Honestly love it. I think having the sleeping space separated from the living space makes it feel larger and cozier. Also everything looks new and clean. I wouldn’t mind living there I love the sound of the train.
Yup, I could and would live in this
so clean and spacious ideal ❤️
That is one of the best tiny apartments I've ever seen. I'd love to live in an apartment like that
Not only looking comfortable but also playful this room is! Considering the fact that the room is only for students and under railways, they make this room something special and attract people!😍
Yes living under railways is very attractive lol
oh Me and you can get very Playful in this apartment ..lol
Nope living in a house is the best who tf wanna live like worthless cattle
@@ExtremeHardcoreGamer You think people who stay here can exactly afford houses?
Pretty cozy tbh
More of these, please. Millions ! ❤
I absolutely adore tiny apartments, mostly because I am extremely lazy and having a small apartment makes it easier to clean everything quickly, and this one is probably the best one I have seen.
Dude, that’s sweet, and that bass
The first one is literally heaven for me. House under a train track ❤
One thing I really do want to applaud Japan for is their ability to maximize space.
It might be that I only ever see your tiniest apartment videos, but this thing seems spacious. Huge and every commodity you could ever need.
"Not bad"??? Thats PERFECT
I agree this is the best from what I!ve seen
All I care about in this situation is how loud the train is at 10 pm when I go to bed
You get used to it I live next to the rails
@@rollajay5301 I mean honestly at this point in my life I'd take it
If this is Japan I don't think those trains touch the rails at all. You might hear the whoosing if the window is open
@@rauminen4167 wow you are right I didn't even think about that..
@@rauminen4167 I get so used to the fact that America likes big flashy noisy vehicles that I forget that other countries don't lol
I accidentally became obsessed with your apartment tour series after finding this on TikTok. Please make more. 🙏 Thank you.
This is actually beautiful. 😍
Totally livable! 🎉
Japan has god tiered urban planning.
Still a lot expensive to live in city like Tokyo, only 60% people have house ownership. Japan only 4,000 homeless people which is very low, that is because a lot of people live in internet Cafe which is cheaper than rent, but it's look very nice, and people there go to public bathhouse.
Yeah, but the houses are really badly built (still not as bad as the US), with cheap materials and goofy designs. Roaming around you can find a lot of weird houses ahahah
@@chithiennguyen1371wow! They have a public bath house!? What is this? what does this consist of?
@@chithiennguyen1371
What do you mean they live in an Internet cafe.
@@dianeibsen5994 Yes, Japan has public bathhouses. Search for it yourself, you can see them a lot in manga, anime, TV shows, and movies from Japan
I really like to see a tiny apartment with a tiny balcony🥺❤️
Lovely. Nice cozy little place IMO.
That is a fantastic use of space
It's small but still spacious considering that it's already furnished with ref, laundry machine, toilet and bath and a loft. What a nice apartment for single people.
Just curious, are you Filipino per chance?
The overground metro has been built in Uzbekistan and I think we need such kind of comfy flats that are especially perfect for students on a smaller budget.
cute and clean!
It looks luxurious fr a small apt. Loving it
That unit was perfect. I'd love that. Easy to tidy up, cozy. I grew up a block away from an above ground subway station, so the trains are soothing 😌
The commute to the station would be quick at least. I could totally see myself living here as well
..I can comfortably live in that tiny apartment.
Love it!!
Looks so cozy
Its already better than my house…
I LOVE this video. I always want to go into every building under train tracks in Japan. I feel this overwhelming need to know what's behind the closed doors of these hidden under the track buildings.
I feel that about old houses everywhere, every time I see an old Victorian I want to know what it looks like on the inside!
Pretty good!
I could totally live there and be happy
That was like the best spacious one.
Genuinely, I would love to live in a place like this. Spacious af for Tokyo, nice layout, and the vibes are immaculate.
This really took RHCP to a whole new level. 😅
I love this one
I want these. I don't care if the trains are loud. That looks like such a cozy little den.
If they made this (with thicker unit walls!) into say 12-unit bachelor apartments (like some we might see in animes) on a larger scale, I'd love to live in one. But probably not under a track, perhaps. Rooftop community loft, maybe?
It was better than most apartments you've shown. 👍 Good layout!
That looks like a standard SF apt...only nicely modern. I love the bath area.
I desperately want to live there it’s so beautiful 🤩
I could live in this, I love it and it looks wonderfully laid out! Maybe the kitchen would be my biggest gripe cause I do like to cook but other than that it's lovely
Looks great for travellers
Im amazed how clean the room 😮
Other than being under the train tracks that's a wonderful apartment
In the full video he shows that even with a train going overhead you can barely hear it. They're incredibly well insulated!
As a trainspotter, thats a plus
As someone who has just lived right next to tracks and trains all my life, I'll never have to worry about getting help to fall asleep.
I love those loft sleeping areas. So cozy.
These apartments are pretty awesome
That’s a cute little Apartment Room
It's not very small. Just the perfect size for a small room. I love it ❤️
Nice place!✌🏼
Lovely!
I would luv to rent that unit. The layout is far better than the new luxury apartments that you showcased a few months ago. There's enough room to have a buddy over for shochu, 🍺, snacks 😊. How much is the monthly rent?
Okay but is it soundproof?
Exactly. With the train over your head, unless it stops at night you'll be woken up all night long.
The world need so many of these
That apartment is perfect for a single person and can still have a studio/office section
Its really cute! Id live there for sure
