I mean I saw my favorite watercolor paper on clearance at Micheals from Cloe's video and went out and bought it today XD Companies know how to get us to go "ooo! that! i want that please!" (tbh I've never used "Fancy" acrylic paints. Always just used Apple Barrel or Folk Art. Never saw the point in getting the $7-8 a tube stuff.
I adore Apple Barrel paints! I have an entire drawer full of their little 2oz acrylic paints. The parakeet and lilac mist are actually two I own and the lilac mist is gorgeous! Love the new desk!
FYI, the Adirondack mountains are a park in upstate New York. We used to go there as kids in the summer. An "Adirondack chair" is also a type of chair frequently seen on porches or lawns! 🪑
Ooooo the color shift! Oddly, those are quite popular with the cosplay prop makers because when painted over black, the shift color becomes dominant and are used for making things look like heat stained metal. They're great! I use apple barrel ERR'THANG for all my prop stuff. 🙃🥪
I've been watching you for two years. Just wanted to thank you so much for all the work you put in your art and videos every single time. It's heartwarming. And you have a very soothing voice. Thank you so much for everything. Keep being the ray of sunshine you are. Best wishes from Geneva
In NZ those little paint bottles are $6 or more, and the small 4oz Mod Podge" is around $8 or more, the 16oz is $18-28 depending on where you buy it, the 8oz special purpose ones are $13-27 depending on use/store... craft/art supplies are horrendously expensive here. It blows my mind how cheap some things are in the USA. I dream of Walmart and Dollar Tree type supplies being affordable here! 50c paint! $1 store Mod Podge! Holy crap!!!
I've used the metallic paints to highlight the edge of shells I made into pendants or other decor. I'm sure you can use them in lots of ways but I've always used them like gold or silver leafing but way cheaper.
could you do a video of apple barrel vs folk art ? id like to try them but not sure whats the difference between the two and which can be used for what thing.
What a wonderful gift and you were very gracious in your thanks. Hope you won't mind my pointing out that 'Folk' is almost certainly pronounced 'fowk', as in the phrase 'folk art' meaning the art of the people as opposed to academic or commercial art.
I've been waiting for a while to see another video from you. And today was the first day I went back to work after getting over bronchitis. So thank you so much, Chloe, for posting a video for me to watch when I got home lol. 💜 We all love and appreciate you 💜.
The spray mod podge you can use on fabric. For the echo a nice option would be getting fabric using starch to hang it on the walls peels off cleanly plus, dampens that sound. In my art space used metal pegboard they look great plus, have nice shelves acrylic you can customize. Suggest those options for the new space. Congrats, l♡very watching your journey.
Overall doing arts and crafts means tons of tools etc. Needing storage. Metal grid would also look nice. Things worth exploring. You can easily paint of the fabric or even better design your own... Only thoughts. Great for sound control as is bubble wrap. Should check out the artist who uses bubble wrap for their paintings. Pretty impressive and amazing.
You should have 1 million subscribers at least you work so hard and you are so funny and very very entertaining I don’t know how you don’t have 1 million subscribers
Me, who only wears the same two nearly rags of old shirts, old jeans and barely holding together paint smudged sneakers, while protecting the floor and walls nearby: it would take me three seconds to turn that cardigan three different colours
The wax paint is meant to be a sort of “topcoat” over top of chalk paint. After chalk paint dries, you can distress the painted surface and then paint over top with wax. Buff the waxed surface when dry. Have fun! 😊
@@magicaleevee843 ooh... I never thought of green. I love colours, it's amazing how much they can change the mood of a painting. It's like they all have their own unique personalities 🥰

Anthony over on the Ace of Clay channel uses the color shift paints and Gem over on the Color Cave channel just used the glitter Modpodge in her last video! She is worth checking out! I believe that the entire Plaid line is acrylic paint. The chalk paint is simply acrylic paint with a flattener to ensure that your surface is flat mat! The acrylic medium is compatible across the spectrum of their products. You can use the Modpodge for sealing most everything! From acrylic paintings to outside sculpture! They do have an exterior version, but I have used regular Modpodge Mat and it even held up in the rain on a parade float! You are truly inspirational and so damn sweet! Thank you Chloe for sharing your windfall from Plaid! You have a lot of new stock to fill your new studio! We look forward to watching you design your new space!
@@SketchWithBex Thank you! I actually do not know, but I do not think so. I only use it for sticking small things. You can make a DIY version of this spray with regular Mod Podge and some water. You just mix them together!
Every time I get art supplies as a gift I get a rush of happiness, then a sudden realisation that I no longer have space in my art studio to store more supplies as I am an art addict and will buy anything ‘artsy’ for no apparent reason 😂
Must get one of those tables, fantastic. So exciting when we get big gift art boxes, love the plaid dragonfly glaze and colourshift paints from plaid. The modge podge is great for giving a final coat on your a painted canvas to seal 🤗🤗

This broke me 🤣

Not to be shady but to be shady
Can we just appreciate the variety of mod podge the seller gave to chloe
I'm truly ashamed I've never used Mod Podge, will need to pick some up!
You can never have enough mod podge
I feel like companies want to send Chloe boxes to review jus to laugh at her face when she says “nOt An ArT uNbOxInG cHaNnel” 😂😩

What normal people see: a wall
What i see: a giant canvas Chloe is going to paint 👀
a blank wall with potential and possibilities. XD
Last Halloween, I was painting a styrofoam skull, and the mod podge spray worked GREAT to seal before painting, and afterwards, as well.

The wax is an awesome product for sealing chalk paint while also maintaining the mat finish 👍🏻 so excited to see all your new adventures!
If I was an art supply company you would've had a million art boxes by now for free.
Congratulations on the new studio you’re amazing and your art is so beautiful and inspiring

Chloe is the platonic ideal of a slightly batty art teacher. I love this channel so much :)
This craft paint works quite well in an airbrush if you water it down to a milk consistency.
She should use all those supplies to make something☺that would be interesting😮
Love the table!!
I've found Pale Daffodil at Walmart but it is a gorgeous color.
Folk art and Apple Barrel is how I learned how to use paints for artwork. Honestly love their products!
The wax goes with the chalk paint you use it to seal it after painting an object it takes a long time to dry but it protects the chalk paint
i am excited to see your studio finished!!!!!!!!!!
Oh! I want to see a tiny pour canvas and the shifting paint ones!!
Bless you... I'm from Somerset and when you say certain words: 'Castle' for instance.. That southern twang comes out
Can we appreciate how good she looks in this video
Can u do a dollar store art vid plz
I think that would be cool

I’d use the spray mod podge to seal diamond paintings!

When you live in the Netherlands and they sell poring medium at the action ... for like 3 or 4 euro I think 🤔 but cheap !
Instead of simply nailogicals nail polish background shelf thing it would be sick to see one with paint or paint swatches
i needed a laugh…love it!
I have a lot of glitter mod podge ITS EPICCC
Do a studio set up vid
Hi I was wondering if you can do some decoupage on a box in your next video
The decoupage part still kills me a year later lol
Link for the table?
Can you make a video where you learn how to knit or crochet?

I am a fan
I have an idea for that wall

My new desk lasted about seven minutes. I wasn’t even using paint. It’s a curse.
Nah, she spilled it on her hand instead! 😂
and i thought you weren’t an unboxing channel lol
Please do a tour of the new Studio when it done! You should involve Disney in it.
Honestly, I would love a colour called' Danger of combustion'.
What shade would it be?
It would have to be a deep red right?
