Jacks kills the Windsor ride with yet another issue on the facebook marketplace Canyon, chain dropping and break pads ceasing, he takes the bike to the shop while I make a coffee and moan. We end up dropping the Windsor ride and doing a couple laps around Reagents Park in the wonderful sunshine.

Damn you guys drop chains a lot! Those sram front mechs are notorious for dropping unless they’re dialled.
Fortunately he’s all fixed now, then it’s my turn, but I need a service real soon

I have sram and that front mech has to be bob on or it will constantly drop chains, if I start dropping chains (luckily mine go out board) its time realign and tighten. 5-7nm on bolts and it worth getting the alignment guid from the bike shop Sram you just cant do by eye. once sorted should be good for 6months or so. BUT some people cant ever seem to get it sorted. If that'd the case id cut my loses and make use of the Shimano sales at this moment In time that combined with the resale value of sram would probably mean very little spent.

Yeah he’s had multiple drops that have been very bad for the frame, the bike shop installed a chain catcher that should fingers cross stop the drop.

The reach on that canyon looks a bit long for that chap. Hands a couple of inches from the hoods in all the shots.
He’s not really had a bike fit, still learning about his bike position, the seats quite far back at the moment. Also those canyon stems are a bit unforgiving with their length

Regents is great early in the morning as there are zero cars, when it's gets later, you're just riding in circles so what's the point, and next time, clean your socks next time Andy for god sake!
Tried to bleach them, they're completely stained for life unfortunately! Will have to 100% try some morning laps
@@andybroadhurst You'll find it more of an experience... although you're still just riding in circles! Richmond is way better, but I guess if you ride there a lot, it's still gonna turn out the same. Shame on the socks mate!!!!
