It's pack our bags and go back to Gladwin as in, Gladwin Michigan which is where he's from. And I'm pretty sure that Johnny was his mom's boyfriend who was an alcoholic and abusive to Nate as a child. And, you should go ahead and put Snipe onto Destiny or Green Lights.
Oh and the “oh I’m NF, is it me or the fear talking? What a dumb question” is where he ended the song Mansion on this album he said “is it me or the fear talking? I don’t know anymore” Fear was mocking him.
"Jonny" is his mom's boyfriend who abused him in the past. Which is why he says "I wrote a song for Jonny without you, but he ain't gon' like it, let's see how he takes it He prolly don't even remember us, does he? I wish I was buryin' anger, but both of us know I'ma need him for that song He still lives in the basement". IMO means he's getting rid of "Fear" and letting "Anger" take over so he can Express his anger, which I believe was let out in "Paid My Dues"
Rickie think his new album is going to be his anger side and Paid my dues was just a tease.I think he's about to show everybody what he can do and take it to the next level!!....Can't wait!
Without fear, he made a song about Johnny. That was his abusive stepdad he talks about in Mansion. He needs anger for that song, and he says that Johnny probably doesn't even remember him. He talks in the song Nate about how intoxicated people make him nervous, so Johnny was probably drunk when he would beat him. I don't believe he has released the song about Johnny. Probably wouldn't be healthy. Especially with how he feels different now about How Could You Leave Us. Also, as a recommendation, try Green Lights. It is a break from the deep emotions and just some great lyrics over a bangin' beat. Love your vids, have a blessed Christmas.
Song for Johnny. Johnny (his mom's boyfriend), the one that would take him to the basement and beat him. Merry Christmas man, hope you have a blessed holiday season
This is actually my favorite NF song it's pure emotion poetry and power. Talk about a visual representation of conquering what we all deal with. With An amazing build up.
Johnny I actually believe it's his stepfather who abused him, I played it that way looking at the two songs mansion and intro3, they're connected. Mansion: "physically abused, now that's the room that I don't want to be in ...You used to put me in the corner, so you could see the fear in my eyes". ..." congratulations, you'll always have a room in my mind But I'm a keep the door shut and lock the lyrics inside"(here he says that he will keep this memory locked together with the "lyrics," meaning that nate made a song for him more without having the fear to develop" better "the song, because after all fear was born from that moment between the stepfather and him. Intro 3:" I think it's only right we go back to where you were created"(here he links to mansion) "I wrote a song for jonny without you, but he ain't gon' like it, let's see how he takes it He probably don't even remember us, does he? I wish I was buryin' anger, but both of us know I'm needed him for that song, he still lives in the basement" (and here he talks that he tried to make the song with anger more he had not because he was just afraid, so he says he will not bury the anger because he still needs to make that song he says is locked in the basement, calling again with mansion).
Hear me out because this might take a while but it's well worth it. This entire song is about NF confronting Fear. Maybe NF has finally put Fear down or at the very least kicked him out of the "Mansion". In a lot of his music he references his other songs and this song in particular is a great example. "What's the point of having love with no pain" is a reference to "If You Want Love". NF also talks about Anger living in the basement but he didn't talk about the 3rd personality that lives in his "Mansion", Regret. In Mansion NF lists all the "feelings/personalities" that live there with him. They are NF, Fear, Anger, and Regret. In his albums you can see a distinct correlation between the personas and the music. Seems to me that Fear was behind the album Therapy Session and maybe even a little bit of Mansion as well, but I believe Regret was mainly behind Mansion. I believe that Perception was NF having an awakening and realizing that he doesn't have to live with those personas anymore. I highly believe we will finally get to see a side of NF that we haven't seen before, Anger. Maybe he has already teased us with Anger with "Why" or "The Search" or "When I Grow Up". We don't know for sure. But from this song we do know that he has a song waiting about the abuse he suffered at the hands of his mom's boyfriend Johnny and that he will need Anger for that song. But the best part of all this is that in "WHY" we find out that there may be more personas than we originally thought. Because in "WHY" he says "Me and Pride had made a pact that we don't need no help". So from all the material and clues he has given us we can look forward to more from Pride and Anger. Good job guys keep the reactions coming. I'd encourage you to start from Mansion and go from there.
Edit: I remember when Perception came out he had a tweet that said this argument with Fear was so real to him. hes reacted to the whole journey already, you have to go back and watch his old reactions. Hes just catching up his buddy snipe. You should go check out more of Holla's NF reaction, they are pretty entertaining.
And who are you? A mumble rap fan? Lmfao. You need to listen to more songs of him to understand he's not like EM. He even had a lil punch line trade with him, would he do that if he's impersonating Eminem? No.
Kein_Humor lol he’s clearly inspired and influenced by Eminem and na not quite a mumble rap fan but that doesn’t have shit to do with what my comments say
@@iMustPandaLean I never said he's not influenced by Em. He clearly is, he even said he grew up with him. But you said he is *impersonating* him, which means he *wants to be exactly like him and wants to do the exact things like him* which is simply don't true. Me makes his own music, own topics and is a lot realer than EM imo. I dont understand why y'all think hes like EM, what is he doing that makes him sound like him? And yes I like EM too, so I know his music.
Kein_Humor why why you asking that question if you know Em you can hear it and it doesn’t mean he wants to do everything exactly like him but as my comment said this sounds like a Em impersonation you can type as much as you want that won’t change shit. Still don’t know the guy 😂
Johnny is his step dad who used to beat him

What, are you scared of me? It's embarassin'
If it wasn't for me, you would've never wrote Therapy
I've been here for you, but how come you're never there for me?
It's a little bit twisted, but I miss when you and I had scary dreams
I don't really wanna talk about it
Well, that's too bad now, Nate, shut up!
Now where were we?
Way back in the day when
You and I had it all mapped out in the basement
Cryin' in your room like a baby
"I wish mom was here"
We all do so we wouldn't have to hear about it
Every single record you don't really wanna change me
Yeah, I'm the one that made this happen
Do you really wanna get rid of your main attraction?
Let's pack our bags and go back to Gladwin now
Yeah, it's time for the third record
And you know I got the content
I don't wanna make you nervous
But it ain't like it used to be
We got a lotta people watchin'
You told me that you don't want me in your life
That's pretty hard to digest
And I told you I'd leave when we die, and we ain't died yet
Therapy Session was beautiful, Nate, but I'm wonderin' what's comin' next
Yeah, get that stupid hat off of your head when I'm talkin' to you, you hear what I said?
You don't like the prison I built you?
Yeah, you wanna know what the funny thing is?
You keep on talkin' to me like a stranger, but we've been together since you were a kid
Took us from a no-name
Told you everything was okay
Now you tryna cut me out of it like I ain't never been a part of it
I am the heart of it, I made this whole thing
Yeah, I put us on the dope stage
You must have no brain
What's the point of having guns if you can't aim?
What's the point of having blood with no vein?
What's the point of having love with no pain?
What I'm sayin' is me without you doesn't make any sense
I know I'm intense in controlling, but you need to learn how to cope with it
That's just the way that it is
If you didn't want me to live in your house, you shouldn't have let me move in
It's comfortable here and I like it, I got my own room and everything
It don't get better than this!
You say you wanna own your life, then wake up and take your own advice
You just mad 'cause you know I'm right
Yeah, I'm flattered you put me in Mansion, but you should've told 'em right
'Bout your hands on the coldest nights
You didn't tell 'em 'bout the times you and I used to hold he mic
I mean, what are you, outta your mind?
'Cause both of us will be
Come on, let's go outside!
Is this what you wanted?
Both of us out in the open? Let's do it then
I mean, why are you doin' this?
I know that you're mad, but I'm not in the mood for this
We got a record to drop
So why you actin' like I'm not a part of it?
And where is my shovel at?
Prolly all back where it always is, you can't get rid of all of me
I'm the reason why
Nah, shut up, I don't wanna hear another sentence
Hey, I'm NF, is it me or the fear talkin'? What a dumb question
Yeah, it's real music 'til the day we die, right? Yeah, ain't that the slogan, Nathan?
Thought I told you to keep your mouth shut
I mean, so what? You know I never listen
Let me guess
We gon' dig a hole, kill the track, and prolly put a beat in it
Rap about it for like three minutes
Aye, that's pretty deep, isn't it?
Wait a minute, you don't really think for a second that you're puttin' me in this?
No, of course not, just a lil' deeper then we'll go inside and we can stop diggin'
Woo!
You had me scared for a second, I though we were diggin' my grave
We did, what, you don't bein' afraid?
It's a dose of your own medicine
What, you don't like how it tastes?
My therapist told me don't bury my issues, but I'ma be honest, man I'm feelin' great!
I think it's only right we go back to where you were created
I wrote a song for Jonny without you, but he ain't gon' like it, let's see how he takes it
He prolly don't even remember us, does he?
I wish I was buryin' anger, but both of us know I'ma need him for that song
He still lives in the basement
Almost done, shoulda done this a year ago
I don't know why I waited
You know how I get it, I put everything off of my personal life, you hear what I'm sayin'?
That was a joke
Yeah, it's hilarious, ain't it?
You'll spend the rest of your life in my backyard or back of my mind, depends how you see it
Put the shovel away, time to go back in the house now, you'll be out in a week
Tellin' me you want your room back, that's funny, what, you ain't got nowhere to sleep?
I'ma just look out the window and laugh at you, this is crazy to me
'Cause I thought you had me in prison this whole time, but I'm the one holdin' the keys

hes reacted to the whole journey already, you have to go back and watch his old reactions. Hes just catching up his buddy snipe. You should go check out more of Holla's NF reaction, they are pretty entertaining.
His story is sad
I love his music but it makes me sad cuz he raps about his feelings
"I think Johnny's the guy that produces his beats"
I mean, sorta, but like...
Not the kind of beats you're thinking 😂
You guys are way off lol
Tf is NF?
Sound like Eminem impersonation
