I think there is a mistake, the main aim of all surgeries for ulnar nerve clawing is to somehow FLEX THE MCP JOINTS, which is in hyperextension in clawing
What if it was treated conservatively and got much better and resolved, but if it comes back, should I start a new round of conservative treatment? No pain, just occasional heaviness in the arm. I've significantly modified my activity to prevent triggering the nerve and allowing it to heal.
I hit my ulnar nerve on the edge of wood table with extreme force - it’s been a month and my finger still feel a little stiff in the morning and extended bending of my elbow while playin guitar aggravates it more - I’ve seen a doctor who performed tests and he said it could take one to 2 months to recover - but he was confident I’d be fine - my question is: is it normal to still feel these pain symptoms after a month ?
