"not seen, not heard, not taken away"
LOL had me dying 😂
My middle school has a really good rule. If they see you with your phone out 1 time, you have to put it away and get a slip. If you have it out a 2nd time, your parent has to come pick it up for you. 3rd time you get suspended.
"DAAD, MOOM CAN WE MOVE TO ENGLAND?"
Parents: "Uh, why???"
"Because school is so much easier there!!!" T-T
as a average british 12 year old i can confirm that i how my schools i go / are in or have been are like
Na my School let’s us use our phones and there are some rules where u can’t use them
However even when the rules say u can’t use them, as long as no one walking past the classroom or looking in can see them, u can get away with using them
Bro the way u say “Stunning” for the brits, I LOVE IT SO MUCH!! 🤣🤣🤣
WOW the British is that fast for Americans we would miss like spelling for this long conversation about ‘’the phones’’
“Not seen, not heard, not taken away” that’s literally how my classroom worked (it was a British classroom)
Oh here in Texas at the schools that my kids go to they actually have to put them up in a slot by the door for every period or not get out at all
I went to a school in the UK and I can confirm that we have the best policy.
Meanwhile our school, 20 minutes before school starts:
"PUT YOUR PHONES IN THE BOX EVERYONE YOU KNOW YOU CAN GET THEM AFTER SCHOOL ENDS"
Dude, my mom and sister both have huge health issues, and I often had to leave class to go home with my sister. My mom straight up had to tell the school to let me keep my phone on me because LIKE ONCE A WEEK THERE WAS A MEDICAL EMERGENCY
American teachers are actually chill about phones
My 4th grade teacher would tell us to “know how to play the game”. He was one of the best teachers I had
I always hear “Off and away during the school day!” at my school.
I swear this guy nails this every time 😂
at our American school before the school year starts you and your parent have to sign an electronics thing, saying you can use schools electronics if your own is shown or heard it can be taken away, until you're walking out the door to leave
My teachers remind us every lesson "Phones are to not be seen nor heard, if they are seen or heard it'll be taken away then you can come back here and get it after school."
‘’Not seen not heard not heard not used ‘’ is like the Ten Commandments at my school
If your phone falls out your pocket BY ACCIDENT its a detention 💀😭
“I will sue you in a heartbeat”
Only if life was that easy, Jonny
In most of my classes, we don’t even get a warning. It just goes in the phone jail at the beginning of class. One of my classes even uses it for attendance.
The British one is so true. In my skl the chill teachers always tell us as long as I don't see it, it doesn't exist.
I still remember when I got my phone taken away for a spam call
"Then I will phone your parent or guardian!"
Orphans: "I have no such weaknesses."
At my old school sometimes on fridays we were allowed to have our phones around the end of the day and get a soda in the cafeteria those days were my favorite
" Stunning. " kindest work hes ever said.
