1. About COVID revelation, I've always known that it has to come from USA, if you read detailed timeline of events, observe reaction from all sides. 2. About Taiwan, Prof Sachs is absolutely correct. US is THE only danger in our issue with China. Without America instigating, intervening, intimidating, Taiwan and China would've resolved disagreement themselves. 3. Absolutely truthful, righteous statement on Russia-Ukrain too. High respect for Mr. Sachs.

As for Taiwan-China, I doubt Taiwan wants US to leave them alone so they can negotiate their "independent sovereign democracy" with China. Just look at HK.

@@gagu2291 Such a wired question. You'd better ask Prof Sachs about the evidence, because he is pretty positive about the idea in the video, and he did the investigation according to himself. And if you really want to find the info., there are plenty of them online, just google it.

Why does he say "US biotechnology" if the pandemic started in Wuhan? Does he mean it was US scientists working at the Wuhan Institute of Virology? In that case, I wonder why the Chinese would have stayed quiet about it. I also tend to believe that it came out of a lab, and I know the US funded gain of function research, but I still found his statement quite surprising.
I think the Prof Sachs do believe that the covid-19 is developed in US bio institutes even though it outbroke in Wuhan in the first place. It could be more persuasive if Prof Sachs also talks about some key research-based evidence but it's off the topic of this conference, apparently.
The virus was already circulating in the USA in the summer of 2019 all they diagnosed it as is influenza of unknown origin and covered it up

If the war is contributing to the high gas/food prices…why were the prices rising before the war?
I understand he’s an economist and has more knowledge then me on how the economy works but some of what he’s saying doesn’t make sense.
He also said Europe have put themselves into a recession due to not buying oil and putting sanctions on Russia…that’s a complete lie. European countries were heading into a recession due to propping up the market through the covid pandemic.
Printing money to prop up an economy never works and always raises prices through inflation.

Gas prices were rising, because that's what happens in every business cycle. Economic growth and high demand lead to higher prices.

We’ve propped the economies up with cash from thin air…more cash, less products lead to higher prices. Just saying it’s part of an economic cycle is bs.
