  • Second version of my somewhat modular Bike Station for a minivan.
    Upgrades from previous version:
    - Elevated platform for easier loading
    - Slide out drawer/table, that can store a big water jug
    - Storage for misc. items
    - Improved wheel holder
    - Imroved shower storage
Made out of 1/2" birch plywood ($35)
Few things that I've used in this build:
    Drawer slides: amzn.to/2Hzhygn
    Fork mounts: goo.gl/Q7dZra
    Water jug: amzn.to/2HBqJN6
    Shower: amzn.to/2JxaHpt
    Tools:
    Ryobi drill/driver: amzn.to/2MdJObG
    Tracksaw: amzn.to/2y4tfvI + amzn.to/2sVKI3N + amzn.to/2JHoahG
    Router: amzn.to/2xXM0Bc
    Table saw: amzn.to/2JwVpRu
I do not have plans for this, but if you are interested drop a comment and maybe I will Sketchup it.

Enjoyed the vid! Very nice alternative to getting a trailer hitch and integrating the Rinse Kit.

I would do the same but make the handle bar mounted 90 degree. So the total width of two bikes is shorter and possibly leave space for a wider bed or another bike.

That was truly epic. Are you a cabinet maker by trade?

Great setup but, if this is not fixed to the floor or side walls, in a collision that stops the van (especially from a high speed), it becomes a projectile that will crush and probably kill the passengers/driver.

Good point. Goal is not to crash. I'm not using it anymore, converted into a work bench.

Nice setup! How do you like using the cubbies with rounded openings? Im thinking about using that kind of design in my trailer project.

Thank you! They work great, I got the idea for my work bench (Ron Paulk one), Plus that hole saw makes it pretty easy to do. It's crazy strong, easy to access and keeps the stuff inside the cubby. Check out Ron Paulk's channel he has a whole series on the Smart Shop trailer build, there are plans too.

Thank you, glad you like it. So, its actually similar setup with folding rails. But I just made a box that saw sits in, thats the only difference. I actually have plans for it if you need them.
