I always wanted a sister growing up. I’m so glad I ended up being the only one. I always had my own room. I never had to share anything…clothes, toys, the apple of my dad’s eye. I sometimes wish I had that sister bond but I’m fine with it. I have cousins.
The best thing that happened to me was that I had two other brothers. We were beat friends and I would do anything to have them back.

Before my youngest sibling was born my sister and I wanted a brother, but my stepmother goes "you don't want a brother" in reference to her brother growing up. We ended up having a little sister.

I live in Russia and there is a lot of violence here, and the task of protecting women is put on men, no matter who they are to you. Since I never had an older brother, I didn't look at the situation from that perspective. I understand your point of view.
