Yuridia Sactic Rodriguez that or before you know you convince yourself so hard that it’s the gender you want that your disappointed when it’s not. But most get over it pretty quickly and become excited. I know I was and I did.
As an example: Most of us Germans are so "unexcited" compared to other cultures... We do not even do big reveal parties, we just mention that in the next upcoming occasion, then there is gonna be a "hey, wow, congrats!" In the best german emotional matter and that's it 😂 😂 😂

I like some of their reactions but then that couple who wanted a girl , that’s why I am not a huge fan of these gender reveals. It’s disheartening to see the expressions of dissatisfaction or disappointment, on a few people. Like like myself I cannot have children of my own or due to my health and if I did it would be a very high risk pregnancy. I would just be happy to know that my child is going to be healthy no matter what gender. There are so many people who also can’t have children or are struggling to conceive. 😢

I fully understand you. It is especially disheartening for people who have issues conceiving and have to take every opportunity.
However, I also know that "gender disappointment" does happen, especially when the parents have kids already and some wish for a special gender. I can tell you that in 99% of the cases, the disappointment (has to do mentally with human assumption and expectations) disappears after some days. Then it's all fine, humans adjust.
If people even after birth do carry that disappointment, THAT is when I say "ok, this person needs mental support, because then some unrealistic expectation and projection is there".
Thank you! They get disappointed in the gender, when you can do the same things with both genders, and at least it is healthy, and you are able to have a baby. It isn’t about the gender of the baby, it isn’t such a big deal. Kids need to be taught that the gender doesn’t really matter. Plus, people do dumb things with explosive stuff, and sending balloons up into who knows where, polluting the earth.

It happens when I had my first a girl we were a bit upset at first but we accepted it after a few minutes. It’s only because before you know you wish for a certain gender you convince yourself even that it’s the gender you want and then when it turns out to be the other your disappointed for a bit. It’s normal it happens to a lot of people.
Well that’s sad tho because if the husband wanted a girl and they got a boy he was disappointed
@@koriandrariosjesus427 Thank you! I also want to raise that this disappointment is for real, but in normal and most cases just a matter of days. What matters is, when you will love your child 100% how it is the moment it is born.
BTW I am pregnant with #2 and since I have a boy I also wish for a girl now. STILL, if it's 2 boys in the end, OH HELL WE ARE GONNA BE SOME LEGO SQUAD in the future :D

It IS a hard topic, yet "gender disappointment" is a real thing, especially if you already have kids. Let's say some have already 3 boys or 3 girls and want the other gender. I understand this can be a disappointing moment. What matters is, that this disappointment is gone after 2-3 days and they will love their child nonetheless (which is most of the cases).

cali fires were from gender reveal parties? look...the amount of substances that come out of balloons in gender reveals is nothing, absolutely nothing compared to road emissions, factory wastes, etc.
no offence but to me it sounds like telling ppl not to burst crackers on Diwali (festival of lights) while ignoring the fact that a lot of pollution comes from cars and factories, improper disposal, littering..etc. and the festival comes only ones a year...and honestly compared to that, gender parties are nothing so I don't think they are the main reason the environment is the way it is...tho gender reveals in my country are illegal but thas for another reason.

Gender reveals always seemed meaningless to me until I recently experienced one. My sister had two boys and she knew her third baby would be her last. She always said wanted to experience having both a son and a daughter so everyone went crazy when we found out she was having her long awaited baby girl! I cried more than her but less that grandpa!😂
Something that annoys me is when the family run up to couple when the couple are like trying to hug or kids each other. I think it is wonderful that everyone is so happy, but let the parents celebrate with each other before you swarm them.

These are so cool. Who watching this had their baby's way back in early 80's when there where no ultrasounds unless doc thought something wrong. Also didn't know until baby popped out what it was, and induced labor nope.

I dont know how it feels to be disappointed by not getting the baby gender you wish for but be grateful to have your baby healthy. I fourtonely got not one but two baby's(twins) with the gender I wish for and it feels great and thank God there both healthky kids.
