- It's time to push the Gladiator for its second serious test in the Calico Ghost Town trail complex.
The Odessa - Doran Loop rock crawling trail is rated 6-10, and will include a near 7-foot waterfall, a narrow off-camber canyon barely wider than a Jeep, and one of the scariest obstacles in So Cal, a washout over a small cliff called Pucker Pass.

Production note: Please forgive the VoiceOver if it is less than perfect... I didn't have the right recording equipment yet, nor the right voice lol. Learning as I go. Hopefully the next video will be better. - Авто та транспорт
I almost cheered out loud when when the Gladiator made it thru Pucker Pass. Simply AMAZING!!!
haha... was a close one... thanks for watching 🥳
Nice video and thanks for filming. I know it's a lot of work to film and edit but there's plenty of us who rely on videos like these to help us decide what our next adventure will be :).
i enjoyed just hearing the tires and natural sounds without music as you worked your way through obstacles.
Thank you Vinh ! Glad you enjoyed it and positive feedback is always appreciated.
Been going there for over 30 years, we love it! Great job you guys! 👍🏻🎃🎃
You know when you're going into the trail just a couple hundred yards from the beginning of the GateKeeper if you look to your right and up the mountain a little you'll see some cutouts in the side of the mountain where miners used to sleep and if you go inside those little cubbies you will see some cool carvings into the Rock that the miners left 😉😉🎃🎃👍🏻👍🏻
Just awesome content! Really enjoy seeing the JT hit these technical obstacles and amazing trails! Keep em coming!
Thanks! Will do!
Odessa canyon has another wonderful spot been through there plenty of times in my ol 82 yota! If you look up in the side of the canyon walls and see places where minors slept and have put some really cool carvings into dwelling. Great video you guys! 👍🏻🎃🎃
One of the best videos I’ve ever seen. Loved the narrative and the camera angles. I also enjoyed listening to the history. Keep up the great work!!
Thank you Gary !
Have not been there since I was a kid in the 60s. Great place to visit and 4 wheel
Indeed !
Great video !!!
Glad you enjoyed it
Nice!
Thanks Archie 🙏
I'm most impressed with the handling of the drones. fantastic video. Has to be selling jeeps even more and aftermarket.
Thanks for watching :-)
You guys made that look way to hard, we walked through it in a 90's Land Cruiser.😆😆
Great vid. Gave me confidence to take my gladi here this weekend. One thing i noticed, Tires don’t look aired down enough on the first obstacle. Still. Awesome skills!
Glad it helped :-) tires are down to 10 PSI always... you won't see this on the front tire when the vehicle is trying to go up a very steep obstacle... a shot of the rear tires would look completely different ;-)
what are you rockin? 37s? 4 inch lift? gearing? just curious cause I have a gladiator too and am building it now.
quick tip / request, equalize your audio please, your speaking quietly so I turn it up then get blasted with camera shutter sounds, then a few minutes later your screaming at me when I haven't changed the volume. Still a great video though! You really push your gladiators capabilities.
You are 100% correct. I am still learning and its no excuse but my first mic died in the middle of editing/voice over and the new one had totally different gain settings... sadly commentary was added all over the vide after the change and on the computer in the editing software, I could not hear the difference.. however it was shockingly obvious on replay once published.... apologies for that !
@@DirtySickSexy no worries man! Still think you got great content and some amazing editing skills, keep it up!
Upload more videos pllllzzzzzz 😁
Appreciate the encouragement... not sure I'll post more though
How long to complete the trail?
Depends how fast you choose to go. On average it's a half day if you go leisurely and don't have any issues.
Do none of you know how to air down your tires for traction
I was at 8 psi - can't vouch for anyone else...
but these kind of innovative and groundbreaking ideas are always welcome ;-)
No how do you go about that?
Sounds like you need better spotters...
nah... I could show just the parts that make us look good, but it's about an authentic look at the experience... and no trail run is ever totally smooth, as im sure you know ;-)
