Originally, I planned to order this figure, but after some consideration and watching the movie, I decided to go with the battle suit version. Here are my thoughts:
1.This figure comes with a katana, but as far as I remember, Wolverine doesn't use a katana.
2.It doesn't include a head sculpt with the mask on. When Wolverine appears in this outfit, he is wearing the mask, which he takes off later.
3.The figure features battle scars, but Wolverine has a powerful healing ability, so this depiction surprised me. At the end of the movie, Hugh Jackman's character doesn't have any visible scars. Perhaps Hot Toys wanted to add some battle damage for a cooler look, but I would have considered purchasing this version if it had dirt or blood stains instead.
4.I'm concerned about the jacket included with the figure. I'm not sure if it will fade over time if left on the figure. Moreover, I believe most people would display Hugh Jackman's impressive physique without the jacket. However, the base says "Jacket Version," which might confuse those who don't see a jacket on the figure.
This version is very appealing to me because of the integrated muscle details and the realistic dirt effects on the helmet and pants. I also find the base very attractive. However, due to these conflicting issues, I ultimately chose the regular version of Deadpool and the battle suit version of Wolverine. Considering that Hugh Jackman likely won't play Wolverine again, I decided to purchase both Wolverine and Deadpool this time. Otherwise, I usually only collect Spider-Man figures.

Agreed that Wolverine heals himself so it should not have any visible scars. Regarding the jacket, this is something I also pointed out on my stream last Friday. Overall cool figure! And YES! We need a headsculp w the mask :)

Might be buying both. I already preordered the first one. One with mask and this one with mask off. But i will wait to see if brown suit get released. If brown suit get released I will get that one and skip this.

Though haven’t seen the movie, this definitely tells me the brown and yellow outfit will be in the future as the yellow and blue outfit is destroyed as seen here.
