The Dickerson Park Zoo is so pretty with winding paths and free-range gorgeous Peacocks throughout the park. It's not small, not large, but just the right size.
Thank you so much! I'm glad that you found us. I hope that you found something useful out of it. 😂 Let me know if there is a subject you want us to cover.
Making me want to move to Springfield every time I see your videos 😂 I have lived in Joplin, Columbia, Kansas City, Butler, Nevada, Lamar…. 😂 as you can see we haven’t settled yet. My plan is to full time RV but may need a home base in Springfield 🤔 We have to come back to Missouri every month for Dr appointments and medication. Gosh, so many decisions!
Honestly there's a lot to consider when you think about moving 😂! You all sound like adventurers going around in an RV. Well, you are always welcome to come visit us, we are just next to Battlefield Mall in Springfield 😁
To listen to you, you would think you have to spend money to have fun. With all these boonies, open waters, and streams; if you can't figure out what part you like, you need to shelter in a megalopolis. Having said that, you evidently didn't have time to cover the local mini-factories for candy, fireworks, and metal arts. And DUDE! How could you leave out cow tippin ?!! Next to Pennsylvania and Georgia, Southern Missouri yields more antique furniture per show. There is also a thriving cottage industry of woodworkers in Lawrence County. Come to think of it, there is a LOT of work-at-home production here.
Yeah you wouldn't have to spend money to go to any of the lakes and streams (unless you are putting gas into your own boat! 😂) Honestly, I've always heard of the joke of cow tipping, but I have never heard of anyone actually doing this! Also- metal arts? Are you talking about blacksmithing? The woodworking and craftsmen work here would be a whole video in of itself!
@@wiserlivingrealty Den of Metal Arts, Metal Arts on Division, plus all the backyard sculptors. Wheeler sells the most sheet metal in town, ask them how much of it goes to sculpture and innovation. Also check with Rose Metals. There are 5 actual blacksmiths in town, mostly for horses, but they fabricate too. Cow tipping pisses off ranchers and they usually have guns these days so it is not really recommended.
I will say, Braums does have some amazing ice cream! I can't say it's the BEST, but it's a good contender. 😂 And Braums has some frozen yogurt there that's just 🤌🏻
@@wiserlivingrealty Bruams is pretty good but there are other options for ice cream. If I don’t go to Bruams for ice cream I just go to Applemarket, they sell some pretty good ice cream, nice in the summer.
Would it help to motivate some protentional clients if you provide a web base (Moving to Springfield packet/video) in helping them to establishing a future or newly purchased home in the area. And maybe identify all agencies related to establishing a new residence in Springfield or surrounding area, IE' businesses, childcare, schools, phone numbers, point of contacts and addresses. We in the Military always sent a welcome packet to soldier that moved around the world to future duty stations to help them in a time of stress, and they were very grateful. And the word did spread about how helpful the welcome packets. And did help with our recruitment! We even pointed spouses to local career sites and hiring companies. Even if you can't use this idea, maybe your Springfield realtors as a whole group could come up with a packet for all realtors to use? I think the priorities for most families moving are Jobs, security, school, medical and homes in that area of concern. Love the Videos!!! keep them videos coming now that you are just watching realtors make you money! I thought when I made Sergeant Major that being in charge of 4,500 hundred soldier would be easy' BOY WAS I WRONG!!!!😜
Hey Joe! What an incredible idea. We have put together some welcome packets for people we meet in person, but an online one does seem like a good idea as well. I'll be thinking through this and maybe we could find a way to implement something for those moving to the area. Getting information about jobs, schools, medical and homes are always a great way to introduce people to the area. 😂
@@wiserlivingrealty And or maybe just point them in the direction where to establish (POC's) for utilities, phone services, natural gas, propane, trash. cable, satellite, licenses and registrations, insurance and maybe the companies will send potential real estate buyers your way!!! Great video, but if I were to get married there, my wife would get mad at me. Also, nobody CAN be "one of the only" anything. He can be "one of the FEW", of he can be "the only", but NOT "one of the only". Unless there's an organization called "The Only", and he's a member of it. We're here to help. 😤

EXACTLY. It's the perfect size!!! Perfect for a family or someone wanting to take a scenic walk.
I remember when the Branson Landing didn't exist. It was just where boats would dock. And you could go and feed the fish and ducks.
I wonder how different that would have looked. Wow!
I love the Sequiota Park area!I want to go to the Phelps Grove park next, and the Pythian Castle,,😊
You should! Phelps Grove is definitely a beautiful park to be in!!! Let us know what you think of Pythian too. 😁
I love your video! You are hilarious!! Im new to Missouri and this was awesome finding your channel.
