First off, I want to give a huge thank you to everyone today because I recently reached 60,000 subscribers which is INSANE! I remember like it was just yesterday when I only had 100 subscribers. The time I've spent on UA-cam these past few years is a time I'm entirely thankful for. I cannot explain how much that means to me. Everyone that watches my videos, comments, and enjoys them as much as I enjoy them means the world to me. Thank you so much for all of the support you guys give. It really keeps me motivated to keep on making videos :)
This song has to be one of the most beautiful things I have ever heard... I wanted to edit it so badly and re-watching Into the Wild struck me with the fact that this song fits it SO MUCH! This movie is absolutely amazing and the story of Alexander Supertramp/Christopher McCandless is one of the most inspirational stories ever.

Emotions came back to me again. This film is so special, so soothing and peaceful. You feel relax and forget about everything and at the same time think about all the important moments of life. You did it again, Heather :) Choosing a song is what I envy you. Always the perfect music in your videos. I'm so glad that thanks to you I get acquainted with singers and bands that I have not even heard of before. The video is so emotional and beautiful! 1:46-1:57 such a union with animals and at 2:06-2:12 and 2:52-2:58 such a union with nature. When I watched the movie I so wanted to go there. This movie is so inspirational and now your video. You sent such an important message with this video. You put such a sense into this, I just barely held back tears. Thank you for such a beauty!

After a 10 day hunt into the mountains of the Alaskan Denali. I gave this book a read. Alaska truly is an adventure. Even with the most up to date hunting equipment and tech, there was something so primitive about being truly lost in the wild. With a few books on my phone, photos and small bits of music, a deck of card and a harmonica. We trekked 35 miles. My dad and I. The trip was rather grueling. But happiness shared is worth it. I enjoyed every waking minute. From cooking the rice and drinking what little coffee we brought. There is some that our human nature entwines us in the outdoors. It’s what calls us into our true strength, to measure what we can handle. Nature brings out the best qualities in life. God truly made us to connect with the earth.

I never saw the movie...but I like the location...this takes me back to when I was a kid and went coast to coast and spent weeks enjoying the wonders of nature....NIIICE!!

Such a powerful story, I really get the mindset of Christopher at the time. The feeling of wanting to run as far away from your family, friends and the “real world”. Feeling like isolation and doing things alone will find your happiness, but happiness is only real when shared and that’s something that hit me hard. It’s a hard world out there and a lot of us end up going through that period of trying to find yourself, and along the way experience impulse and naive decisions that make it hard but create a great experience. Such a shame of his ending, but Christopher McCandless will be an inspiration to me for his dedication to wanting to live life on his wild terms. What a brave adventurer. The idea is not to be strong, but to feel strong.

One of the best movies I've ever seen. This movie truly motivates me to find the best in myself. Just finding inner peace for yourself whether you're home with your loved ones or away from home, to all those suffering from depression and anxiety I want to say hold on more for a while whatever it is that's giving you a hard time will soon pass. Life is precious nobody is imperfect everyone is perfect in their own way and everyone has their own colors. Whenever something's holding you back look at yourself in the mirror and tell yourself you'll make it through this.

Christopher McCandless' story is a story many of us can relate to. Trying to find yourself in a world that never slows down is no easy feat, and while doing what Christopher did is very dangerous, I completely understand why he did it and what he was trying to do. Amazing work as always Heather

This was beautiful Heather. I loved the environmental shots throughout the video and the song choice oh my god, so calm and relaxing, I freaking love this video. I've never seen this movie unfortunately but I've seen it used in multiple edits, watching this video makes me want to watch it though!

This has been played on my computer to many times to share, this is an absolutely outstanding video Heather. I honestly think you shine most when you step back and focus on a film or show you actually enjoy and your editing/love just bleeds through your work so gracefully. Especially in this edit, not only does it get me emotional because of the subject matter of the film but how you can clearly see it means something to you if you were able to create something so beautiful out of it. This is incredible and definitely one of your best works heather. Never stop editing please, if you stop, I’ll loose hope in pursuing a editing career. oh Christ I can’t. I really can’t comment on every single thing in this video but Jesus Christ do I have to say that this is one of the best things I’ve ever seen from your channel. This movie man. So many memories with this movie. I think the most impressive thing about this video was the way you connected all the themes based around “happiness only real when shared.” you really did it perfectly and I hope it was intentional. (it probably was). this video is too much to be honest. I actually felt emotional during my second or third viewing. I don’t know what it is about Hal Holbrook but that man just makes me want to cry every time I see him now. this video blew me away.... your last 2 videos make me want to rip my heart out and die so good job on that. outstanding shit.
