Thank you all that reached out to help me find a toolbox tour in the Bay area. Also, thanks to everyone who offered to give me a tour of their setup!! What a wonderful community you all are - it means so much to me. This is my first mobile box tour, and I learned so much. What a setup Jake has!! Video came out great, thanks for coming out.
Thanks for the invite!
Nice setup brosky
What’s that truck run 200k with no tools?
"Brother in law is my snap-on dealer..." Not sure if that is a blessing or a curse lol.
😅
O brother, hummm, I understand your dilemma. I'm sure price wise there is a family discount, unfortunately that leads to using it more often.
Overall, I would consider it a blessing, my wallet might see it differently.
"Thanksgiving dinner tastes different when you owe family money" -Dave Ramsey
Curse for sure lol I’d be broke
Dang man I appreciate your commitment to bring us toolbox tours. Love it hope you explode with subscribers.
Thanks! I hope to travel around a bit this year for tours 👍
@@ToolBoxTourcalled it months ago!!
That company is lucky to have this man. He clearly cares about doing a good job.
Couldn’t have said it better. 👍
Looks like they treat him well. Allowing him to design this expensive truck with top notch gear. Keeps good techs around.
This was great please bring more service truck tours!
I would too, but so many are getting robbed. Have had 5 service trucks get hit in the past year and 1 got hit 3 times at my work. They get jacked at at home, hotels, and even while at ford dealer being worked on.
That truck set-up is incredible, and Jake is a Road Angel and a blessing to anyone who gets stuck out in the field or even worse on the side of the freeway. Can't believe the transmission blew out at only 3,000 miles! Thanks for sharing!
Yeah I was surprised about the transmission too
Ram had a service bulletin out for those trucks it was for the c2 clutch drum snap ring. The snapring will come out and cause a lot of damage to the drum and since the clutches are not depressed it will cause damage also. How I know is because I did that exact job a few months ago the truck had 7k km on it
He should try adding desiccant packs into the draws to limit moisture on the tools…it worked for me for five years working off a truck. Also this was a great way to expand on the tool box tours lineman, millwrights, plumbers and electricians all have unique tools to offer
I like how you started doing the picture and description for the blow mold service kits. Saves the time to have them open them but we still get to see what the kits are.
As a mobile mechanic as well, our trucks are very similar. Same toolbox brand, lights in the bed and cabinets, slide back bed cover, mounted welder/generator. Except his is a 5500 ram with a crane and I’m in a F350 no crane. Love seeing these kinds of tours! Keep up the awesome work!
Very impressive I work for a company that has a fleet of service trucks none of them hold a candle to this set very nice love it. Thanks for sharing
First off that truck is sick. Second off. Great job with the part numbers. That must have taken forever. We all appreciate the effort you put into these.
I’m glad! I do my best. Thanks Ryan
Nice setup. I’m a mobile marine diesel mechanic. I have a 16 Freightliner step van. You have to pack these trucks with everything under the sun so you can get the job done and get the heck out of there. Great video.
Yeah that makes sense!
Awesome clean organized truck and well stocked with parts
He’s ready for just about anything - that’s for sure! Thanks for watching Rick!
Needa do one with Cam from Tekamo HD he just bought a bunch of new snap-on stuff for his service truck, hes a heavy duty machinery mechanic.
He's in Canada though.
Man I love your tours, Im a software engineer so I got no business in 99% of this but man its cool, just started building out my toolbox for motorcycle work
I’m glad you enjoy them!
Love the truck tool body tour. I'm an electrician by trade, so i always enjoy seeing the loadout of another service body type truck. Your channel has made my Saturday morning coffee much better.
I’m glad you enjoy the channel!
Glad someone came through for you. Love seeing the service truck boxes!
Thanks 👍
Look's like that truck should be leaning to to the left it's nice to see a man with pride all of his tools and equipment even his work area are clean and spotless keep them comming
Each week the tours and videos keep getting better. I appreciate how much work you put into these videos! My Sunday mornings are always a happy time. Keep doing what you're doing brother!
Best, Sam.
I appreciate that Sam! Glad I can make your Sunday mornings more entertaining 🙂
Very impressive and well kept truck. It's great to see the shop guys boxes. But it's awesome to see the field mechanics too. Thank you for your videos
Glad you like them 🙂
I went to tech school with Jake. Good to see him doing well these days.🤘
Very cool!
Man that is awesome, that's probably the most well equipped service truck I've ever seen. Really cool guy and tour. Keep up the great work man!
Thanks! Will do!
Awesome video bro. Hes living the dream, gets to take his tools everywhere he goes Lol. Thats a dream set up for any mobile guy.
Jake!!!! Thats a sweet set up brotha! Glad to see your doing well.
Thanks for another great video brother. I love that tool Grid layout design but I haven't convinced myself to bite the bullet yet.
I have the Tekton holders and they do a good job. The tool grid setup can eliminate any wasted space which I, like most, are in short supply.
I have had my snap on one rebuilt as well and bought mac and dewalt never looked back. Still have them as a back up but thats it.
That’s the same multimeter I have! Tbh I wish I bought a fluke 88 or 115 but it isn’t bad or anything!
Hit like button 30 seconds in love it! More please‼️seems like he has a great company. 👍👍
What a gorgeous truck.
Thanks!!
Very nice setup. Thanks for the video brother.
You bet
Wow, you’re devoted to making these videos. Keep it up man!
It's tool time!
Thank you!
✌🕶🔧
Thanks for watching Alfred!
Great video I’m in a service truck also so it’s awesome that you did a truck would love to see more truck tours
I’ll do my best!
8:41 that refill kit is awesome and it also holds a vacuum so you can replace a thermostat or a hose without having to drain the whole system or making a mess
Works great on hydraulic tanks too
Oh thanks for the tip!
These diesel guys are insane. nice one dude.
Finally a service truck! Whats the biggest wrench the Muller wrench extender can hold?
I would imagine that guy has to keep his truck under tight security living in the Bay Area. Hopefully crime is not so bad. Awesome truck and tool setup.
That truck is an absolute weapon.
Yeah seriously!
Love the service truck videos. Thanks for sharing
Glad you like them!
Glad you were able to make the trip work out. I have zero interest in trucks and equipment, but this was a really good tour
Glad you enjoyed it
Great tour as usual. I really enjoy your channel and the content. I appreciate your work putting the videos together and also linking the tools noted in the video. Thank you very much. Great work!!
Thank you very much!
Sweet setup😊
Own a new 4500-6500 GM a year, you don’t know! Best set up
We need more truck tours
I’ll try to get some more down the road 🙂
Bad news, brother. Snap-On only makes the 6 sizes you have there for 1/4" SAE impact drive. I have the same predicament. Will have to fill it in with another brand.
Palfinger makes nice beds but damn do they leak around the handles. Makes tools get rusty quick. Nice setup though.
Good to know!
I use to restore Porsche, & Mercedes Benz cars, on my off fun time I use to Repo, cars, motorcycles, boats, RV’s, & a few offices.
I worked out of a Ford E350, with a Diesel, that had 2 fuel tanks, I had a large bottom Snap-On box, and two top boxes, Nitrogen tank to run air tools, & fill tires, mig welder, gas welding equipment, engine hoist… everything on board. That van helped me make a lot of money. I worked from San Diego to Santa Barbara. I’d often sleep in the van, I had two ice chest in it, one for food, the other had drinks. I could work 24/7.
Thanks for sharing Enrique! Very cool
Very well thought out setup and well organized also. Thanks for another great vid 👍
Glad you enjoyed it
Crazy the trans blew that earlier. I run a 16 f550 4 door but a short palfinger bed. I’m setting a little more than 21k
Yeah seems like the RAMs are hit or miss.
This reminds me a lot of like what the army has as far as having mobile mechanics to follow the guys out in the field and having a big ol contact truck with all sorts of good stuff good shit tho Jake 🤙🏽
I'm on vacation in Vegas but I still needed my tool fix😂 another great video!!!
Haha! Hope you have fun over there! Thanks man!!
This dude is ready for Haiti or the Gaza Strip. Bring it 💪🏼 🔧
When you have a technician that is this dedicated to his work and your company. You let him spend the money to get the truck he wants.
Exactly!!
I love these videos. This truck is bad azzzzz
Very cool. Beach boys tool box(California).
Killer setup. Wonder what the 12 point impact swivels get used for? Only things I’ve really used 12 points on is head bolts and flywheel/clutch hardware and occasional starter bolt
I saw that too. I couldnt see what size it was. Prob use it on drive lines
This is awesome.. Very cool job to have too.. 👍
Thanks for watching!
Sweeeeeet set up
Cool setup
Nice truck!
It sure is!
That's awesome 💯
Thanks 💯
Sometimes I feel like the music doesn’t quite match up with the video but maybe just my personal opinion. Great job doing these videos though I’ll be subscribing because I would like to see more
I appreciate that!
And thanks for the input about the music 👍
That mini Snap-on plier set is so nice but I can’t justify the price 😢
should go to a welding shop or fabrication/engineering shop to see what tools they have. i’m curious as to what they use besides the machine of course.
or even a mobile welding rig
Nice❤❤❤❤
Many many thanks
GEN Z WOMEN Take note - This is what we men DO TO GET paid big bucks..... Also nice truck - I am jealous...
Anyone know which truck tool box has the most storage? Ctech or other brands?
Immaculate
Have you done any in Sacramento?
I haven’t.. yet 🙂
Hell yeah haha. Love the channel man keep it going!
no torches?
Yeah he mentions in the video he doensn't have torches. Instead he utilizes the space for other things.
Where he work? I need to apply!!!!
God bless you and, your family. Jesus loves you.
If it was a Chevy or GMC truck it would have been a 10/10 truck set up. Going to have to deduct some
Points just because it’s a ram.
RIP the transmissions in the RAM Cummins
I was surprised it only lasted 3k
Had just about all them. There really isnt a truck that holds up as a service truck. None of the fords, chevy, dodge make it. The KW and Petes are the same truck and cab sucks and no turning radius, always a proplem. Loved my old Hino with IMT crane.
700 dollars for wrench’s? Really! Why not Gearwrench? Doesn’t even make sense! I have seen tests between Snapon and Gearwrench and actually Gearwrench is better in testing!
He will have to work for 30 years to pay off his Snapon overpriced tools!
lol someone doesn’t make enough to get snap on tools…😂
Doubt it.
If a company is willing to spend that on his set up he wouldn’t be getting paid peanuts.
@@TimBuckley22 so everyone that buys a 25 grand empty tool box, is going to make a fortune because he bought SnapOn? I have very little SnapOn. I been a mechanic for over 40 years and I can do anything a tech with all Snap9n tools does! Why go into debit that takes years to pay off? Doesn’t make sense! I have very good tools, but refuels to pay SnapOn ripoff prices! 600 bucks for a small set of wrenches, no thanks!
Snapon power tools suck
finally flexin snaps on xd
