- In this video, we spend a couple days off farm in North Carolina helping the Hollars at the Hollar Homestead clear some land for their pigs. We incorporate elements of silvopasture in our work to provide shade and nutritional benefits for their swine.

How awesome of you to help out the Hollars! Be careful of Kelly though, they have a brand new baby and it might give Kelly ideas of maybe your family should expand, too. LOL
That was sure a $million$ dollar view!
She was definitely squeezing on that precious baby!

It's cool to see you hanging out with and helping the Hollars. You guys did a great job opening up that pasture area for the pigs, and the Air B&B tiny house is amazing! I'd love to stay there.
Thank you for helping the Hollar family
Wow, y'all did a lot of work there at the Hollar's. That would have taken Ben a while to get that accomplished with all that they have going on. Great working "vacation" 😉
Love this young family
New subscriber, Ben Hollar sent me. Good thing I can follow links and not get lost LOL! Look forward to seeing you and Kelly further develop your homestead. Thank you for your generous assistance to another family on their journey to a more sustainable life.
How nice 👍 of you all to help them out. What a wonderful sense of community
Troy,Kelly good to see you both helping others. Never been on their channel,I will check it out. Don’t let all that flat land make you sick.
Came to see the property you were looking at for someone out of state and watched so many of your shows that now you feel like family.
New subscriber.
God bless you guys. ❤🙏
You know, since Ben is a transplanted Southerner, he should call the terraces "benches" too. I agree, it's so much easier on the lips.
Much easier to say and causes less confusion with Homeland Security...
Thanks for helping out the Hollars. New subscriber. 🇨🇦
Wonderful. We love Canadians!
New sub from the Hollars. Thanks for helping a great family.

Thanks for helping the Hollars. They have a lot to do, that takes some pressure off. Was impressed
with the layout of the tiny house. Wondered where the ladder was for that other loft. Thanks for sharing.
Great Friends and good job on the land clearing!!
I love the Hollers
Popular trees grow straight with few off shooting branches. They also shed smaller branches routinely.
Makes great fall hot dog and marshmallow roasting evenings.
I am new here that was awesome you went down to help the Hollars
Welcome!
That tiny house is awesome
I hope to have my future homestead helped by my mentors in person, too!

Good Morning ! How Is You All Doing?
We are well, Thank you!
Right On!!!
Yay!
Hello Troy, it's been awhile since I last posted. Life this past year has been a roller coaster ride for the Hyder household. My husband and I purchased 20 acres total a few months ago. We have about an acre and a half cleared, the rest is thick woods. I Followed a lot of your guidelines when searching for land but we haven't yet hired a forester for a timber walk. We'll be clearing another couple of acres to build infrastructure and also keeping silvopasture in mind. So, what would it take to get you and yours to come north for a few days? :D We've still got to build a polebarn but not until Spring. Winter is upon us here so not much can be built now.
Its so cool to see two homesteading channels come together!
I saw on FB where you all had moved. It is tough to get everything done before winter hits. I hope you all get your lodging figured out before it gets really cold. As for coming out, you buy - I'll fly! Can a chainsaw be carry on luggage?
@@RedToolHouse we've rented a cabin for the winter, about 15 minutes from our property. We've got a roof over our heads for the next few months. The Cabela tents we were in wasn't going to cut it.
As far as a chainsaw as a carry-on, you could always try! LOL! I just may have to buy some plane tickets in the Spring, introduce you to another well known homesteading UA-cam family we've befriended here. ;)
Nice Work Out There!
.. forestry management (species reduction) is a strong key to easier beautiful, manageable productive livestock raising.. y'all are wonderful thought full knowledgeable friends to have indeed.. great informative video

Loved this Airbnb wow¡¡ enjoy. Ps. Ur sound is mostly unclear in this video
I don't get it ... first there's footage of cleaning up the hollar Homestead, and then there's a showing of a tiny house?
What’s not to get? We worked with them and stayed in a cool tiny home. We wanted to show it.
Why those kind of hogs. What is the market ? Or where is the market?
Is the white expedition the hollers truck or yalls?
That is their’s. It is the one that was wrecked
@@RedToolHouse they got it fixed and didn't need to buy another one?
No. They had to buy another. They kept the white one even though it was totaled.
