@@MrThemovie321 The massive lore implication of RE8 is that everything that Spencer did was based on things that Miranda did, but with a focus on viruses, instead. It's a huge deal, and they had the discovery be made by Chris, himself, all these years later just to drive it home.
@@Poet482 it felt very weak and tacked on last minute IMO. It was just a little note in the lore dump room and Miranda just felt like a way to tie RE8 with the rest of the games
@@MrThemovie321 You're right, I suppose, but I like the hint they left that let you put the pieces together early on. The umbrella logo on the map of the lords. It was fun putting it together, not so much being directly told. Anything that happens in America is still "new" in the sense of how far history stretches back, so when you see the logo in an old ruin in a remote European village, it renews how deep things go. What I mean is, everything the villains achieved in this series happened in around 50 years time, so the door is now open to anything being possible on a global scale, as there's been plenty of time for powerful people to get a hold on the centuries-old and refined research. What I mean is, it will make further games actually feel believable as a thing that they were able to get away with. RE5 and RE6 were completely unbelievable, so it's nice to see that addressed. We can only hope that they can keep the next games focused.
Another fun fact: everyone pronounces her name wrong. The "cu" at the end is not mute, I don't know how the developers got that idea. In romanian you read everything as it is written, letter by letter, there is no mute letter. Source: just trust me dude, I am romanian.
I find it surprising that english VA seems to make another mistake, copying japanese VA, where her name is read as Domitoresk, because of how their language works, and in english Domitresk
Here's another fun fact; Lady Dimitrescu has been a jazz singer. In Ethan and Mia's house, you can see a vinyl named "Miss D and the Palboys" or something like that with her in a 19th century adorned dress and a few gentlemen
@ Kai If Lady D was born before 1912 it is likely her family relocated around the end of World War One. If that is the case, her family might be of Russian ancestry and possibly fleeing from the Russian Civil War. Her blood disease might tie this in too as the Russian royals were carriers of haemophilia, with the tsar's son Alexi having the condition. This would also explain Lady D's attitude to the other lords if she was related to Russian royalty and consider them better than the others.
Fun fact in my school vr game lady dimitrescu is who the same size as Goalius (even though at the time the wine she has was infused with Goalius blood by Heisenberg as a attempt to assassination her because the bows Goalius has but it made her gain 7 more feet and 6 inches) and let him go because mother Miranda knows that Goalius was a captured experimental and lady dimitrescu took care of him for 3 days until the start of village where he was able to teleport to the infinite castle with her new wine she made called the dreadigon marauder which is the healthiest wine in the world
I can't get enough of Her, Capcom, if only they knew, should at least make her having several transformation phase just like Nemesis or William Birkin, taking a terrifyingly graceful forms like Alexia or Morpheus from previous games, it'll boost up her popularity even more.
Hey, InkRibbon. I noticed a little easter egg in Resident Evil Village's art gallery. If you look at the serial number on the G17, its the exact date of the mansion incident in the original Resident Evil
Well, a fact you could also put on a video is that the correct way to say her name is DimitresU with the U at the final. I am from Romania and this is the way to read it.
This is the first list I've tuned into where I already know/remember most of the facts included about the RE character in question. Then again, Lady Alcina Dimitrescu is fairly new to the line up, and it was hard to miss her in the social media campaigns and all the memes. How cool that they actually had a giveaway of a life-size towel featuring her image; I'd kill for a 9.5 ft/2.9 m long towel to cover my own tall body, among other things I'd do for my vampire-witch mama. For the record, I'm a 5 ft 8 in woman who came here for the vampire witches, and stayed for the mash up of Japanese urban legend, Stoker's Dracula, le Fanu's Carmilla, and historic "mad" serial killer Elisabeth Bathory. P.S. According to BeggyBeggBegg's analysis of the Dimitrescu family's connections to Bathory on the Residence of Evil channel, the historic Bathory castle where this all happened has been converted into a vintner's shop and point of local interest. This connects back to the blood wine Alcina is seen drinking, tying both past and present uses of the castle to RE Village, a pretty cool tidbit I'd say.
Actually, her huge size is due to her regenerative abilities which came with the Megamycete infection. The infection did put her diesease at bay, yes, at the cost of the need of drinking blood on a regular basis in order to keep her abilities, but also gave her exceptional regeneration, possibly the highest form in the franchise, so much in fact that caused her tissues and organs to heal at a rate that they grew in size. Also, the correct pronunciation of her name is Dee-me-tres-coo.

@@xenagabrielle1631 i liked the livestream nicole hosted where the dukes VA said the same thing but maggie chimed in like...
Duke: Oh lady dimitrscu beutiful even in death, that waistline yes.
Maggie as alcina: Say that to my face! 😠
Duke VA: Oh lady dimitrescu i didnt see tou were there, do you have need of anything for the road ahead? 🙄
Maggie as alcina: NO!!! 😠
I can really see the two characters interacting that way 😂
@@TheRealSephiroth jee yeah!!! I've seen that too!!! I can't stop laughing and simping and the same time.. I was blushing at that moment...
@@xenagabrielle1631 yep had me cracking up they should have at least shared that scene in the actual game woulda made it 10x better 😂
@@TheRealSephiroth heck yeah!!! EVERYBODY WOULD DEFINITELY LOVE THAT!!!
I'm 5'6, based on the chart (08:10) I like where my face would end up 😁
N o
@Gladiator Gaming I read that in The Duke's voice. Lady Dimitrescu is utterly gorgeous from head to toe.
*facepalms* Omfg...
oh my days.
😉
I swear to God if we don't get a 50 facts about Irons...
2:17 Here's another fun fact to add to that- in the japanese dub of Re8 Lady Dimitrescu was actually played by Kikuko Inoue! Who also played Lust from FMA :D
She may not have been officially named a tyrant, but she certainly was, mechanically and to her staff
"Stupid manthing!"
Also a 10 foot tall teletubby is terrifying.
“Bonus fact: She has the most skin mods of any character in the game by far.”
I mean.... that's a given
I am sure she has a lot of things that other characters don’t.
Is anyone really surprised by that fact?
8:09 I love how they showed a scale of height from Claire redfield all the way to Lady Dimitrescu. Also I was surprised to find out that Ethan was the same height as Leon.
8:20: Those dancing inflatable things!???!
Surely you mean those wacky inflatable arm flailing tube men
The Duke. Make it happen Kai!
She’s the main reason people bought the game and she’s in there the least
Glad to see you finally upload this!
Mother Miranda: *I'M THE REAL VILLAIN HERE*
Lady Dimitrescu: Then why does everyone love me?
That guy just face planting on the floor so we can see the height difference 😆
My favorite UA-camr! You changed my life my guy thank you for the good videos
They need to bring her back it literally came to my head they make a game and make dimitrescu a main character
Oh suuuuuure, the game developers were "caught off guard" by the gaming community's thirst. OR, they knew _exactly_ what they were doing after all the RE3 Remake *ahem* mods.
Here's another fun fact: her castle was inspired by Peles Castle in Romania.
2:45 "she isn't actually a vampire" I highly agree with this and what he explains makes so much sense BUT why all over the internet/Google it keep saying "She's the first Vampire villain in the franchise's history"
It annoys me lmao
Overall great video tho! Keeps up the great work👍
Yeah exactly and the fact that vampires originally only drank blood, they don't eat human flesh and why would they even need to? in some adaptions, yes...but not in many adaptions I've seen and not even in the famous Dracula novel there's any mention of it..
People seeing Lady D:oh yeah mommy milkers step on me!!!
Chad's seeing Lady D: a woman who is not afraid to show herself. Magnificent I respect thy woman
Tbh i originally thought she was a new type of Tyrant with the claws.
TIL The teletubbies are Gigantic. I just obtained a new Phobia
I was really hoping she was somehow related to a Tyrant
Same here. The claw and pale skin could of been such a good way to hint at her being a tyrant and the reveal would of been really cool and also a way to link her to Umbrella
@@MrThemovie321
The massive lore implication of RE8 is that everything that Spencer did was based on things that Miranda did, but with a focus on viruses, instead.
@@MrThemovie321
You're right, I suppose, but I like the hint they left that let you put the pieces together early on.
The game is related to RE?
Another fun fact: everyone pronounces her name wrong. The "cu" at the end is not mute, I don't know how the developers got that idea. In romanian you read everything as it is written, letter by letter, there is no mute letter. Source: just trust me dude, I am romanian.
I find it surprising that english VA seems to make another mistake, copying japanese VA, where her name is read as Domitoresk, because of how their language works, and in english Domitresk
Fun fuct, Alcina‘s ass has more polygons then the entire resident evil 2 😂
Is it weird the most of what I've learned here is that I'm taller than Chris Redfield?
“Only patrols beautifully decorated areas”
but her wholw cast is beautiful 😕
50 facts on Nemesis
25 facts on Ashley
25 facts on Carlos
Here's another fun fact; Lady Dimitrescu has been a jazz singer. In Ethan and Mia's house, you can see a vinyl named "Miss D and the Palboys" or something like that with her in a 19th century adorned dress and a few gentlemen
She tried to follow me into the kitchen, but she got stuck in the doorframe 😭
The most frightening fact I learned from this video is that Teletubbies are 10 feet tall... -.-
@ Kai If Lady D was born before 1912 it is likely her family relocated around the end of World War One.
Lady D may be tall, but no one can surpass the height of the teletubbies
Mark my comment, in the next couple of years we are gonna see a bunch of horror movies integrate sexy women as the antagonists.
I found your channel few months ago. Thank you very much for your videos. Best RE content. 10/10
Oh my gosh! Congrats on surpassing 100k subs. So happy for you inkribbon.
Lady D japanese voice actress was voice by the same actress who voice Lust in FMA
I really thought Lady Dimistrescu is going to be the final boss, with so much attention she the has been given.
Everybody just pretended like this was the greatest character ever for some reason.
Facts about Heisenberg would be really cool
She is no vampire and she needs blood and flesh, not just blood. You can read that in Miranda's books at the end
Yes exactly that's what I've been trying to tell people, vampires don't typically eat flesh.
Thank you so much for this video. I'm really absessed with Lady Dimitrescu. ^^
She needs blood in order to maintain her regeneration abilities. They tell you this in the game, in Mirandas notes about her.
Hey, InkRibbon. I noticed a little easter egg in Resident Evil Village's art gallery. If you look at the serial number on the G17, its the exact date of the mansion incident in the original Resident Evil
1:19 there’s this game on Roblox called the mimic and it’s also inspired. Very scary for Roblox ngl
Well, a fact you could also put on a video is that the correct way to say her name is DimitresU with the U at the final. I am from Romania and this is the way to read it.
Still waiting for more romanians to find out about the game so we can start a petition...
Yes, please.
Lady D deserves her own Resident Evil movie.
25 facts about all the other lord's and lady d's daughters.
7:38 i thought ive seen it all but that chair meme made me laugh 😂😂
I hope one day we get 25 facts on everyone's favourite potty-mouthed crowbar enthusiast, Moira Burton!
I did NOT expect to learn that KFC Japan had a anime dating game...
Donna & Angie next please!
Literaly some of the ppl are dehydrated for lady demitrescu
True, what's the deal about her anyway?
Me being romanian: So pleople spell it Dimitrescu as Dimitresc, i see
"extending her nails into long claws"
My nails are so naturally long I might as well do that
i need mother miranda facts
Some gamers run from her
Some gamers run to her
Nice to see some love for Momma D. 💗
When i didnt really know the lore i thought she was the Main villain and that she was meant mit mother miranda
Top Facts about Ethan Winters please
Ethan's pretty messed up, man. I mean, he doesn't even have a picture of his face in a family photo book lol
Nice video. I thought they got the idea for her claws from the villain Lady Deathstrike from X-Men or Freddy Krueger.
My mind instantly thought of Freddy Kruger too
I noticed that flowers are an important aesthetic to Lady D. I noticed in her dragon form, the "head" of the dragon does look like a flower.
How tall was she before she was infected though?
8:21 i can just imagine her at a dealership spot, mistaking them for employees
I thought nemesis was 7 foot 3 and jill was 5 foot 4?
"Some gamers run from her, some gamers run FROM her"
So..mark then?
Don't... Don't fuel the "step on me mommy" with her foot size...
Please do a facts about dr killjoy from the suffering games
Unique and very interesting.
Sadly I can't see that happening

The scarecrow on the title screen is not in the vineyard. You pass the vineyard when you first meet the duke.
