Imagine going to see Leonid and friends performing live, and then, you decide to go to a bar for a drink, an HSCC is there playing live. ....Am I dead and in heaven?
Hi Jeff, your channel is the best I have watched. Your critique’s are on point, respectful and your music knowledge is terrific. I live in Australia and have been watching the HSCC since their inception. They are a wonderful covers band and it’s great to listen to those original songs that have been refreshed by HSCC. Keep up the good work.
I had to listen again. I found myself gently swaying, round & around, bathed in the 'total beauty' of this performance. Her voice with those backing vocals is so enchanting. Cheers from Sydney.
To compare/contrast, here's what Mick Fleetwood had to say about this tribute band (Rumours of Fleetwood Mac): "All the talent, none of the drama." Don't know if it's true or not, but he (Mick) reportedly played with these guys. Anyway, their version of "Sara": ua-cam.com/video/TeLC48nFc3Q/v-deo.html&ab_channel=RumoursOfFleetwoodMac. Watch off-line.
Rumors of Fleetwood Mac's version of Sara is the definitive cover/tribute version. Jess Harwood's lead vocal is astounding. She captures Stevie without sacrificing her own own unique style and vocal range. Emily Gervers and the rest of the group's background vocals are great as well. When Alan on Drums and Emily and Dave Goldberg on keyboards kick in after the opening by Jess, it's pure magic. Add to that the performance here on UA-cam was done in front of a live audience and, truthfully, as great as Sing it Live! is, Rumors' version runs circles around it.
There are 3 great tribute bands. Leonid & Friends, HSCC, and Lexington Lab Band. .. LLB from Lexington KY has got some great female and male vocalists. Its all live. Check them out when you get a chance...They have a lot of good tunes on the Tube. I'm every Woman by HSCC...is one of my favorites😊
Not sure if you know but they were touring the USA last year. This was promoted by the manager of Fleetwood Mac...! Now considered one of the best cover bands in the world.❤❤😊
Hey Jeff, been enjoying your channel and just subscribed. I really enjoy your reactions to L&F. I’ve seen them live and they are so good. In sticking with cover bands may I suggest you check out a channel called Singit Live. Their cover of Meatloaf’s 2 out of three ain’t bad is incredible. Their producer, singer, and keyboardist is a guy named Darren. He used to be with HSSC. Please check out this video you will throughly enjoy, I promise!!
Hello Jeff, I really Love HSCC but not so much for F.M. I thought the lead singer lost her Stevie Voice after the first verse. I must suggest "Rumors of Fleetwood Mac" ". They have the Ultimate in Stevie Nicks and Cristine McVee and their backing vocals are Better. You can pick any of their songs, I suggest "Everywhere" ROFM tour every year to large audiences. When it comes to F.M. they are Top Shelf!! Jeff, love your Channel!!
I like this cover however there was a bit more reverb to the lead singers voice than I would have liked. I also got the impression that the quality of the backing vocals was more due to the audio mixing then the vocals themselves - that isn't necessarily a bad thing but I enjoy it more when I don't notice it.

Man I love your reviews. You really feel and understand. This band blows my mind. So much talent. What wonderful Aussie musicians from Adelaide, AU.
Thank you my friend! 🫶
Thanks, Jeff. What a great vibe. Another gem from HSCC.
Great singer.
Love this song! Beautifully done. This is an easy A.

The only singer that even comes close to sounding like Stevie. I have been waiting for one now i found one that is close but stevie is still unique.
Mick Fleetwood actually found out about HSCC through Fleetwood Mac's ex- manager. They got them signed to a record contract.

I have that group coming up as well! 🎉👏🫶

But whether it’s vocal mixing or any other aspect sonically, it’s still pleasing. I don’t think it takes away from the fact that it sounds great.
@@StrateleStudios I can't really disagree with that. I suspect if I wasn't looking at the video I might not have even noticed it.
A bass dobro??? 🤨
😄
