I love these snippets from old podcasts. Sometimes people don’t have the time to commit and you guys have chosen the golden moments that we need. Keep it going bro’s.
I’ve never been this early. H3cz congrats on everything that you’ve been doing lately... I know leaving OG behind couldn’t have been an easy decision... looking forward to what you’re going to be doing for NRG!
I'm surprised that Barbed Wire and Reactor Core are banned. Zero can decimate anything, especially with Equipment Charge on. And Reactor Core tickles if you have Flack Jacket. But I guess I can see why Zero isn't selected in CDL tournaments since she hack everything and used to be able to flip over Snipers Nests.
This video was made at the start of BO4, Zero wasn't in the game at that point. If she was, things may of been different. However this is unlikely as Zero wouldn't be too useful in CDL anyway, because the streaks pros use are not hackable, so it wouldn't make sense to use her. On the barbed wire, like Crim mentioned regarding the grapple, it fucks with timings and furthermore that shit takes so long to destroy, hence the GA.
The Art of War for Call of Duty It’s just cause zero hacks into stuff in COMP it’s rendered useless because what are you going to hack into a trophy system, in comp you can’t use UAV you can’t use any of that, and you can’t hack Lightning strikes so what would zero do it COMP ? Nothing
I've been watching optic since you guys first started out and I can't wait to see what NRG has in store next season. Hopefully one day will meet and I'll game along side you . Wish nothing but the best for you guys .😎
For me playing on the BO4s CWL rules.. was nothing I got the game when it came out didnt play any multiplayer only blackout an just recently as of CWL finals I started playing the League play feature I didnt have a problem with playing with the rules just "oh I cant use that ok.. I'll use then" idea an still did well dont matter too me I'll just adjust to my style of play
CWL ruleset has changing drastically since the game first launched. Everything hes talking about was removed. Reactor core, barbed wire, torque barrier, etc.
Reactor Core is weak against Flak Jacket and countered by almost all tactical equipment. Also, molotovs aren't used in pubs because you're better off with default equipment and an extra perk or attachment.
Idc about the fact they took out some of the equipment and specialist but why would they take out scorestreaks? Took out the attack chopper, took out the gunship I mean come on if you don't want streaks dropped on you then play better
Because they're game changing streaks that could be easily earned due to the way score is earned in BO4. Teams could literally not even try to play the objective and just bait for one person for them to get a scorestreak (like a gunship) that would basically win them the game.
@@Ebongknoll yeah if you earn a gunship in a professional tournament I doubt it means you win the game but even if it does then you deserve to win the game. If a group of 5 guys can't kill you once before you get 1600 score then you deserve it. I'm just saying these games were boring. Barely any streaks which is why when people did earn them they mostly didn't do shit with them and no specialist in s and d led to boring games
@@teamtakeover7317 you could literally win a game of control if you earn a gunship. And it's not hard to earn a gunship, all it takes is patience and a whole lot of baiting lol. And this is just a matter of opinion but I do not think the games were boring at all. We had some crazy plays, and as much as I hate grav slam seeing 3-5 man grav slams were pretty funny. It also helped that BO4 was one of the fastest Cod games ever.
@@Ebongknoll yeah I mean if you think a gunship is easy to earn in a pro game then of course you didn't think the games were boring. You're not bright enough to realize a lot of things
@@teamtakeover7317 lol genuinely don't know what I did for you to come at my throat but ok asshole. It's simple, the pros know better than us, and if you watched streams or followed the cod comp subreddit, a player was dropping a gunship in 10s or Scrims every other day. I don't think the pros would've GA'd it if they didn't think it was a game changer.
8:00 Catering to current pros would kill the scene. Simp and Abezy alone show the talent level of up & comers. Giving current pros an advantage would kill off a lot of motivation for the people grinding their asses off to even get noticed. Glad Crim sees it
Football (or soccer whichever part of the world you're in) has a GA in which a player can put the ball out of play for an injured player, and the opposite team would, by their own choice, throw it back to the team that were in possession. I'm sure there are other sports who have their own voluntary fair play rules, I'm just not aware of them
@@TheMADHamburger in the premier league the rule states ball must be put out of play for head injuries only. The GA you speak of has been removed & replaced with this rule to prevent people taking advantage......which teams were.
@@MrJ-ro1yr yeah that's right but I was talking more about non-head related injuries in which it's completely up to the opposing team whether to kick the ball out or not, which if it's a genuine injury it's almost always kicked out of play so the injured player can get immediate treatment.
While I’m a big fan, I don’t believe in the whitelist as you stated for pros to get the game early. That’s again saying the wealthy famous people should get more privileges. When in fact if it wasn’t for the fan base most of this wouldn’t be around.

Dienamus all I play is league play when I got the chance. When I move to pubs it’s always babies using the biggest weenie classes.
The problem is certain things shouldn’t even be in the game

listening to this now thinking bout how they nearly GA'd snipers again..
Thought the vid was gonna be about when optic got black listed in ghost or did i make that up.
RainbowTrex you did not make that up
What would make you think that? No mention of anything even close to that in the title

What about someone secretly breaking GA, and then once exposed, acting like they were making a point.

Good day.
Watch what happened in the game aston villa vs leeds. GA's happen in football/soccer.
