Hey major props for even posting this video!!!! Much respect!!! Helicopters are the absolute most frustrating hobby in the rc game but also can be the most rewarding over time lol. Damn that sux just read that manual really good on swash setup make sure everything is level when replacing that servo horn. Also check all servo movement make sure it was just a servo horn that broke hopefully no internal gears are stripped. Last thing now that u have a mechanical tail rotor really look over all those parts really really well. I've seen blade strike on the tail and everything looks OK and about 5 flights later the tail shaft will explode and cause another crash right after the rebuild. Those mechanical tails can be finiky check belt tension and blade grips pitch slider etc etc. And hey don't feel to bad I just broke the frame on my 230 practicing inverted hovers and got lil to cocky and tried to trim the grass and crashed hard lol. It's a lil more expensive for us hard headed guys that learn without a sim lol
I appreciate you a lot man! I have nothing to hide! I’ll post all of my helicopter experiences. Good or bad. The crash wasn’t to hard but i will definitely continue looking over everything. What should i look for in the tail? What do you mean by that? Ugh i hope the gears in the servos are okay. I crashed a lot with my 230 and only had to replace servo gears once. Even with really hard crashes like flying into the side of my house lol
I was crying with you when I came across your video! Don't worry Bro! Y'all have it fixed and up in the sky in no time.👍 First lesson I learned from you is avoiding trees! Thanks bro...🤙
I learned how to build and program a FBL unit with a Blade 360 CFX. Great little machines from Blade. It's a really nice size for sure. Visibility is great, power is great, you can fly it at a park or at the field, and it's relatively inexpensive to crash. I think you have it already fixed so keep going!
Crashes happen, it's part of the fun. Don't glue anything together. If you have a dremel you can cut your own replacement carbon fiber parts, look for the 1/16th grout bit it can breeze through carbon fiber. Also make sure you don't practice in stability mode it will enforce bad habits.
Thanks ☺️ for posting, I’ll try to keep my 360 out of the trees 🌲 and I live in the forest, you just had a case of the old depth perception thingy. Keep flying 🚁
I’m so sad… lol I’m anxiously waiting for all the parts to come in the mail. I wish it didn’t happen cause now I’m afraid I’ll get it all together and something will be wrong with it.
Honestly that looks like a good crash. The cost won’t be that expensive. Blades, tail fin and gears. That probably it. Also swap the fetharing shaft just to make sure no shaft is bent. Also don’t forget to open the model, put the stick to centre position then screw the ball link so the swashplate will be perfect level without the need to adjust the stuff
I did that and i must have not gotten it perfect so now my swashplate isn’t level. I’ll have to figure out what’s going on. I’ll have to mess with it and get it right! Thank you!
@@SlickBackAnt i u use a swash plate leveller it wouldn’t be dead perfect but also the trims should be that high too. Like at worst 40. Also to not let the trims go above 70 so u don’t lose servo travel
When you are ready to start 3-D. There’s some bad habits you need to correct. Most of them are on the sticks but also… Don’t fly so far from yourself with helis that size, if you lose your orientation, it’s over. I’m pretty good at 3-D, and I wouldn’t be comfortable flying with those trees as my backdrop, that far away, or behind anything. Depth perception and just how far that heli is in relation to other objects, is tough to judge.
Try a sim. Both My local hobby shops have real flight set up. The 480 fusion on there feels similar to the 360 in real life. 30 mins on there and you should be ready for 3d on a CPS or Mcps. Here’s a flight. Just got the 360 and a sim at home in May. All of this I learned on a nano CPS, 230s, and 2 total hours of Sim time at my LHS. I’m in my 30s and I’m thinking your at an age where you can learn much quicker. Get away from stability ASAP, and do acro on a CPS, throttle cut a few feet off the ground and over grass and you will be fine.
@@Ryan-uu4tw i would get a sim but there a little expensive. I’ve been spending all my money on helicopter parts lol also all my local hobby shops don’t carry or like helicopters unfortunately
@@SlickBackAnt try Heli-X simulator, it have free demo, it was pretty enough for me to realize that i would crash my brand new big heli in few seconds haha, so i kept practicing there and later got mini heli instead of big one
Dude, thats a very tolerable crash. I started my collective pitch with a micro WL toys then i found Blade. Im taking it you've never piled 1 in under power. I way to quickly ended ub buying a SAB goblin, and piled it in losing my orientation, through down elevator going inverted over corrected, tried to pull out, BOOM. $1200 gone in a split second, nothing was salvageable. My point is, 1, youll learn with gear driven helis ALWAYS get spare main gears, spindle shaft, feathering shafts, tail pulleys, landing gear, canope, , tail rotor hub, pinion gear, dampers, and 100% tail and main blades, among others. You're getting the idead, once you start you cant stop with collective pitch helis, I still suck but i cant help it, they're amazing fun, im actually just now about to get a simulator long after I started CP helis, keep it up though you'll advance quickly if you dont fear crashing and ALWAYS order certain spare parts when you order the heli,i still have enough microheli aftermarket 230s upgrade parts and dont even fly any of my 3 230s, my current 200 class is the fusion 270, and its crazy powerful, sucks HH discontinued it
Your motor will be fine but I wouldn't recommend trying to glue any servo arms. These rotor heads and swash take alot more G's than u would think especially on bigger helicopters trying to glue servo arms will just lead to another crash unfortunately
I love love love blade helis

It’s fixed now and flying really good! I’ll have to make another video soon! Thanks a lot i appreciate you!
Happy wednesday
Now all mt licks are taken on the 110s helping preserve my pricey blade helis
Flying it too far away maybe, this early in your Skills. Depth Perception will get you if you get close to objects at a distance.

"I used to not be able to f....." 😀😆 Don't worry bud I've buried so many heli's you'd think it was a career
Lol I’m sure I’ll be crashing a lot more this season!
The servo looks okay but you should definitely try flying above the trees to avoid tree crash or go to prairie field

Thanks for the tips! I just need to find a better spot to fly… i know flying by trees is a really bad idea. I’ve been looking for a better spot!

My new used 360 S crash at take off almost hit me, the srevo went bad ,broke the blades.
Sorry to hear that! I hope you get it fixed! The servos break way to easy 🤦🏻♂️
Thats awesome!
Dang that sucks Dude…

Dang cause the servo arms are on back order :( no rc stores near me
If u want to get to 3d. Just spend some time in the sim, like 1-2 months. Get yourself a goosky s2 and boom. It will be easy
I’ll just have to continue practicing with my 230! I’ll just keep turning stability mode off.
My buddy turned me onto an xk110s
Rebuild time ✊
I was so mad in this video… 😂

Super cheap, super durable
3-d in the future?? U will crash again. U r doing it hard way. My advise invest in simulator. It will save your time and money.
