I love the fact that you put both the word "Eon" and the word "Aeon" in the song. My mind always associates the two, so it was nice to hear them being used together like this.
They *aren't* the same word? I had to double check just now and it's a case of British and American spelling.
@@egg2geggyeah I've always heard them used interchangeably although I remember coming across another meaning for Aeon while randomly browsing Wikipedia that fit more with HSR's Aeons
This song perfectly shows that while ruan Mei might be a genius she also has dropped morals out the window in the persuit of what she want to know and that no matter what it takes she will find the answer no matter the cost to herself or others

and I think it perfectly captures the feeling of Ruan Mei for me. Gentle on the surface, almost tranquil, a peacefulness, but you look deeper into her, listen to the lyrics, and what you find is unnerving.
a fun genius scientist, but that level of intellect goes hand in hand with unknown dangers.

What is this, I log on to youtube after sleeping 13 hours and my day has already ascended to the realm of the divine. 10/10 song artist forever.
I’ve been holding out for this ever since hala started star rail songs and I think it might be a new favorite. This song is incredible as always.
I'm genuinely in awe of how amazing this song is. The gorgeous traditional instrumentals with piano and violin make for a tranquil backdrop, but can feel unnerving together with the lyrics which perfectly fit Ruan Mei. The fact that "god" and "aeon" are whispered in such a low tone makes it feel like her wanting to become one is a "forbidden" ambition because of how bold/sacreligious of a goal it is. My favourite part is definitely 00:54/02:24, the music ramping up, the "i" almost sounding like a soft yell like she's determined, combined with your voice and the MV is absolutely wonderful. 02:02 is definitely a close second though, with the way the music almost stops and the lyrics convey Ruan Mei's true intentions for just a moment, as opposed to the rest of the song being more like what outsiders see, since she rarely, if ever, trusts people. idk, just my silly little interpretation lol. but props to you dude, this might've honestly become one of my fav songs ever !!

I LOVE THIS SO MUCH OH MY GOD, THIS IS MY NEW FAVOURITE SONG FROM NOW ON.
I love how you've really captured her feelings of alienation and loneliness, her tendency to reminisce and think back to her family that she cherishes so much and her desperate journey in becoming a god just for the sole purpose of understanding. As well as weaving in aspects of her design too, like threading (her love for embroidery), cultivating (her specialty in cultivating lifeforms), blossom (the plum blossom motifs in her clothes).
I also absolutely adore how "I will understand you. And perhaps I, too can become an aeon." was sung in a low tone much like the deep bass in her original trailer, hinting at something sinister and ominous, and "aeon" being slightly muted just adds the cherry on top too. The way "I pick apart all of the greatest beings" is sung just feels like a despairing descent into madness, and I'm living for it!!
Not to mention the variety of instruments + sounds really drives that dramatic, scary and cinematic feeling. It represents the elegant surface and unnerving, intricate inner workings of her character so well. This COMPLETELY sent chills down my spine the first time I listened. 10/10 did not regret clicking on this video.

This song seems to have a slightly different style to your others, the chorus is AMAZING, IMPACTFUL and the instrumental is PERFECT because it sounds like Ruan Mei herself is playing it but there’s also an air of… calmness, all throughout the piece.
