I absolutely love Black Swan and this song! But I especially love the lines “measure the world against yourself, I’ll help you find your way. My child, take all such things to heart, now go before you stay” gives me chills every time. Also, “maybe I’ll appear in your story tonight” sounds so lonely. 🥺 I think the memokeepers get a bad rap (which isn’t undeserved since they often manipulate memories) but then the better ones like Black Swan suffer for it. Don’t get me wrong, she’s definitely got her own plans and she did break into March’s room which is a little creepy, but she doesn’t feel like she has bad intentions. For her, the job is so she can experience people’s happiest stories. There’s that thing with Acheron, but again, she didn’t have bad intentions, she just needed answers.
