    Nice work!
    Most people stay away from the ferry service, mainly because they can't swim.
    Lol.

    This is like travelling in the Niger Delta coastal communities-esp in Delta state, Akwa Ibom, Rivers and Bayelsa state; water everywhere you turn including the huge Atlantic Ocean. Nigeria is blessed indeed.

    Nigeria is a marine land. If you go to Bayelsa and Rivers states, people practically live in the ocean. In Bayelsa, people commute to their homes and villages using boats. The Atlantic waves come right next to their homes. In Rivers state, there is Bonny Island, which is in the middle of the ocean. It's a little different from Lagos Island, which is surrounded by lagoon. Bonny is surrounded by the high sea. The journey by speed boat can be turbulent. Yenagoa, the capital of Bayelsa and Bonny in Rivers state are amazing tourist destinations, especially when they have festivities. Lagos also has boat clubs for the rich where you see sail boats and yatches. When I was growing up in Lagos, at one point, there was a five-star hotel in a ship.

    Thanks for sharing the beauty of Lagos with your viewers rather than showing us shanty towns to depress us, particularly those of us in the Diaspora. Yes, let's keep on telling our own story by ourselves for ourselves. I don't care about what others, especially haters, think. Nigeria has the manifest destiny to lead the entire black race, not just Africa, to the Promised Land. And it's beginning to look like she has just realized that manifest destiny and beginning to actualize it one step at a time. We don't need to wash our dirty linens in the market place but must always strive as you do here to put our best foot forward by showcasing our strong points not weaknesses to the world. I've used that ferry once back in the 80s when I was still in Nigeria. It has, however, been vastly developed and elevated to a modern, state-of-the-art ferry service as critical arm of the Lagos State intermodal transportation system network, spanning rail, road, and water transportation. Kudos to the Lagos state government for its forward looking, Lagos modernization agenda .

    Having visited Lagos, Nigeria and Nairobi,Kenya...Which amongst the two cities do you think is more beautiful and more developed?

    • @aframaco9491
      @aframaco9491 3 місяці тому +23

      Why is this important? This unnecessary and pointless comparison!
      Neither of the cities mentioned has yet reached the status of London or Paris or Dubai or Singapore!
      So instead of competing or comparing, both cities still actually have plenty of work to do!
      👊🏾🇳🇬👊🏾🇳🇬!!

      @aframaco9491 thank u for that response, some Africans ehh, their level of thinking, amazing, they keep comparing among themselves like rats in a cage and forget to raise their eyes higher to compete with the rest of the developed world

      I am sure you are from Ghana, the land of noisemakers. My answer to your question is: neither country has achieved what it takes to be a developed country. But obviously both countries are more beautiful and more developed than Ghana.

      She comes from Kenya, a country that believes in the truth, unlike Wodemaya, who does not want people to see the most beautiful part of Nigeria out of envy. It was after "African Tigress" visited Abuja before Africans knew that Abuja is top notch.
