We learned a lot, had many laughs, and felt much more connected to this incredible city. I was so appreciative of him, that my wife and I became a Patreon.
Watching from far away (Australia) , I am smiling, even laughing at times but utterly envious that anyone can have this as their “day job” .....my favourite city in the world and now even more enticing...thank you Joolz
I was the neighbor of Lady Lucan for two years when I lived at 5 Eaton Square. The entrance to my ground floor flat was from Eaton Mews, just opposite St Peters, and her house door was next to my garden door. I saw that she died quite recently committing suicide wrongly believing she was terminally ill. Very tragic. She was nice but reserved.
Thanks for another great video, Joolz! As a Londoner for over 30 years I can still learn things about the greatest city on earth from your informative guides - cheers!
Just found your guides, I can't stop watching them, I find you so funny, and if that's you singing, well you must be an old soul to know all the words. You have many favourite pubs.
I would love to see a walking tour of Jane Austen’s London. She visited often with her family and stayed with her banker brother, Henry who lived on Hans Square. He was a member of Whites Gentlemen’s Club. Love your videos, thanks!

I love London. Watching your videos makes it a little more bearable not being there. One of the highlights of the last trip was our private tour with you! Can't wait to go back.
Did you hire Joolz for a private tour? Can I ask roughly how much this costs? Do I need to rob a bank, not eat lunch for a week, or just save my pennies to hire him?

Love your videos and have been binge watching over the last couple of weeks. I was in London (from Canada) with my mom in 1967 and we had a wonderful time. Being only 11 I can't remember all the places we visited but Buckingham palace, Windsor Castle, the museum and that big toy store where I purchased a then new Spirograph which I sitll have. And since it is highly unlikely I will ever have the opportunity to return , your videos are near as good as being there BUt if I do I'll be calling for a tour. .I do have to make a correction to something you stated in this video about the first long distance call being made from the Browns Hotel in 1877. . That was in fact the first telephone call in the UK. The very first long distance phone call was made by Alexander Graham Bell from his home in Brantford Ont Canada , 13 kilometres , to the nearby town of Paris Ontario, on August 10th, 1876.
I’ve watched a few of your videos now - they are excellent, even the cheesy music adds to the overall experience. It’s a shame that the London you show us is really of yesteryear and not the revolting, sprawling metropolis mess that Khan’s London of today. Keep up the great work!
Apparently not everyone thinks so! I often wonder who the people are who hit the thumbs downs and leave insulting remarks. Bored people I guess. Thanks again anyway. It's getting there!
Love your videos!!! I do have to point out though that Alexander Graham Bell's first long distance call took place at Lyceum Hall in Salem, Massachusetts, in 1877, between Salem and Boston. Perhaps you are referring to a first transcontinental call?
May I correct one comment....Brown's hotel was not the site of the "first long distance phone call." The first overseas phone call perhaps,..??.. but the first long distance was made on Feb. 12 1877 when Bell from Salem MA, called Watson in Boston.
Blackadder: I believe, sir, that the Doctor is trying to tell you that he is happy because he has finished his book. It has apparently taken him ten years. Prince George: Yes, well, I'm a slow reader myself.
