The Barnettes owned this home, which is a true masterpiece. I have had the honor of touring it, and it is breathtaking.
I was definitely in awe of this amazing home. I couldn't believe how many rooms and how spacious everything was considering, it was sandwiched in between other homes.

Per Architectural Digest… “The most expensive home ever sold in San Francisco just traded hands for about $70 million-smashing the coastal city’s previous record of $43.5 million. Laurene Powell Jobs, founder and president of philanthropy organization Emerson Collective and wife of the late Apple cofounder Steve Jobs, was the buyer of the three-story dwelling, per Mansion Global. The home is located near historic Presidio Park in the coveted neighborhood of Pacific Heights, California.” Ahh to be that rich!

another classic home destroyed by some crazy interior designer .
It's a bit cluttered with run of the mill high-end, Louis Vuitton type stuffed animals and other useless and ugly collections that ultra rich people say they rather die than live without; but I thought this was one of the better interior designed innercity-billionaire neighborhood homes.... in terms of the actual architectural pieces.
In fact, I've never seen another expensive mansion designed --- in a neighborhood where the spaces between two mansions are literally arm's length --- with such a spacious mini botanical space like this one... the original owner must have loved nature/plants quite a bit, to have devoted the entirety of the middle of the mansion towards plants.

Laurene Powell Jobs, Steve Jobs widow, recently purchased this home in an off market deal for 70 million dollars, setting a record for San Fransisco. The house, built in 1916, spans approximately 17,000 square-foot and is located on one of the city's most prestigious streets near the famed Presidio Park. A property owned by Oracle billionaire Larry Ellison is next door and Jonathan Ive, the famed designer behind some of Apple’s most famous products, owns a home on the same block as well.
The previous owners, Sloan Lindemann Barnett and her husband Roger had bought the property for $33 million in 2011. The Barnetts then hired famed architect Peter Marino to update the mansion with the renovation requiring more than three years to complete. In advance of Powell Jobs purchase the Barnetts had initially wanted more than $100m for the home.
Isn’t this the place that Peter Marino calls home or designed….He said it took a LOT OF WORK AND MONEY…..PERSONALLY I THINK IT IS A MASTERPIECE…I wouldn’t mind getting lost in there!!!!
