I first saw Etta in concert at Avery Fisher Hall/lincoln center/NYC as part of a BLUES DIVAS concert in October 1990...with Irma Thomas, Koko Taylor and Ruth Brown. Vocally she was absolutely phenomenal, but she apparently gained a lot of weight between 1988/this concert and 1990, kicked off her espadrilles after being on the stage for about half a minute and did not move around as much as she did at this concert from 1988. Thank you SO MUCH for posting.

Etta's voice is so clear and strong here, one of here best periods. Artists like Etta and Solomon will be missed.
