In one of your videos, you mentioned you wanted to do videos on planes but was sure if people want to see it. I think many of us would like to see more plane content.
I definitely plan on filming more airplane videos. They don’t do as good of Cours as helicopter videos but that’s OK! I post videos because I enjoy it not for the views.

It says "8000mAh to deliver flight times up to an amazing 10-12+ minutes" that ought to give me a few go-arounds :) They should bring it back all Smart'd up. The Avian electronics would make a big difference, especially reverse thrust.
I really wish they would bring it back and update it. The biggest I have flown in it is 6000mAh, anything bigger and it is too heavy for my liking. You can get a long flight time on a 5000mAh depending on how you are on the throttle. I have got eight minutes out of it with just cruising around. And also remember, the heavier it is the faster it is going to need to land and takeoff.
Jeff, I was very lucky today. My friend and me drove 300km to someones house and I bought a used Goblin 630 for around 650€ with a nice travel bag fitting for the helicopters size. It is in superb condition and has the following stuff inside: - swash plate: 3x Savöx SB-2271 SG HV Brushless - rudder servo: 1x Savöx B-2272 MG HV Brushless - Motor: Scorpion HKII-4225-610KV 12S - ESC: YGE 120 HV - Flybarless-System: Microbeast Beast version 3.0.8 - 6.1 - SHS Tuningchassis with 2 empty battery slides and 1 additional new canopy + one additional new boom. - SAB Blades on it as well. Now I just need to buy a used 8 channel spektrum, maybe I go for a used DX8. Do you think I can give you some money to get some decent goblin 630 settings from you for the setup (microbeast spektrum setup) :D? So 650€ is around 699$
Awesome deal! The 630 is a very nice model. It’s got great electronics in it. I would recommend updating the FBL to a iKon/Brain 2 so that way you can have telemetry and auto level as well as a crazy amount of tune ability. I would be more then glad to help you on the setup!
I have flown it for upwards of 15 minutes just cruising around with very little throttle but actual full throttle flying is about 4 minutes. It’s hands down my favorite foam EDF.
The servos had a little bit of slop in their pockets, causing the control surfaces to move slightly, and I was not happy with that. I put a dab of glue on the top of the servo before I reinstall the cover, and that lock the servo in place no more Flexing in the surface.
This foamy was made for aggressive confident pilots. There was never anything wrong with this bird, what was wrong, was the expectations of weak hearted pilots, lol. The glide ratio was low and inexperienced pilots wanted this plane to float around, which it does not want to do, nor was it designed to do. Just my opinion. :)
I think the biggest issues that was wrong with the airplane was the 636 RX/Gyro the wing servo joiner would have reconnection causing intermittent servo loss. And the servos had a little bit of slop in them as far as where they fit in the pocket and causing some slop in the control surfaces but the model flies incredible. Yes it’s not a floater but will slow fly pretty good. But I agree, everybody wants a floating jet when it was designed to be a very aggressive aerobatic fast airplane. I love it. 9/10 issues with this plane was pilot error but no one will admit that. Lol
It’s still my favorite foam EDF ever made. It flys great! Ditch the wing connectors and just plug the leads in and make sure all your servos are solid and not moving in the mount. I’ve got so many flights on this one.
@westhobbiesrc8051 appreciate the tips my guy. I read so many bad reviews. It's stalls, so does every plane if you fly it slow. It's a jet. It's needs to keep a certain speed. Makes no sense to me. Lol
@@Kbeezzy23 people want a slow flying but fast but aerobatic but smooth and you can’t have everything. It’s a fast and very maneuverable sport jet. If you have full flaps down it will slow fly just fine. On your first flight get up high and see where it stalls and you know. Also it will high speed snap if you have crazy elevator throw (which almost all EDFs do lol)

I'm like then how do you not know that? I feel like people are complaining just to complain. Can't wait to fly this thing. Appreciate your replies!
@@Kbeezzy23 people 100% complain just to complain. I personally know Pablo (the owner of EA aerosports and the Designer of the Havoc) the big one flys incredibly! But! You can’t scale air. So when scaling it down to this size there is a higher wing loading and etc so of course it won’t fly at walking speeds. It won’t fly like a trainer. It’s a sport jet, not a Aeroscott lol
Very big into airplanes I just don’t post a lot of videos on it because the channel is mainly helicopters. I’ve been flying airplanes longer than helicopters.

It was a video on how long it flys...they flew it for a bit over 20mins 7000 6s battery👍👍😲😲🙏🙏😎😎GREAT JET STILL HAVE MINE...😉😉

Why the hot glue on the servos? And where on them.

I didn't think you were very into airplanes. You've always struck me as a very strict heli guy.
