Looking at the bright side, driving most of my days in Amman made every other city very easy to drive in. I appreciate your patience with the worst urban driving experience.
I’m from there and I’m really sorry for what you’ve seen and what your facing while driving I know it’s a terrible experience. For me when I visit my family the most thing I hate is to drive there
Oh it wasn't a bad experience at all! I really enjoyed the drive! It was a bit stressful in Amman but once on the motorway the scenery is absolutely incredible! :)
Thank you! Actually I cannot remember the name of the company but I think it was called Rent A Car (Amman). I still have their telephone number though +962 795 521 358. I would recommend to text them and ask if they have a website etc? I had a good experience with them.
Hi! Good question... Technically, you would need an International Driving Permit to rent a car and drive in Jordan but personally I didn't have one and I didn't have any problems only with my EU driving licence. The car rental company didn't ask for the international driving permit and neither did the police when they stopped me... I would say that having an IDP is only recommended, not mandatory. I hope it helps! Thank you for watching!
Hey! As far as I can remember it is free pretty much everywhere, it is not very easy to find a space though. I would recommend to leave your car outside of the centre and move around using a Uber (it is very cheap).
Hi! Mmm yes, I guess it would be but in that case you would have to drive in central Amman (if that’s where you’re staying) which is not ideal in my opinion. Also, I have a feeling it may be considerably more expensive.
Actually they stopped me like 5 times and generally they let me go without even checking my documents. Only once they checked my driving licence and they were happy with my Italian one.
What do you mean clearly not Jordanian lmao? You look more jordanian than me and i am jordanian 😂. There are many jordanians who have lighter skin than you with blone green/blue eyes.
Ahahah! You do have a point! I guess it's my Mediterranean genes 😅 But actually I meant that everyone could understand I was not Jordanian even before talking to me... I guess it it because I looked like a proper tourist ahah

Hi. What about parking a rental car in the city of Amman ? Do you need a parking ticket or is it pretty much free everywhere ?

Would it be easier to get the rental car in the airport?

Great video! Heading to Jordan in 2 days. On the checkpoints did they ask to see your International Driving Permit?
Cheers!
Hey! Well… I’ll just say I’m glad they didn’t because I’ve never had one 😄

@@spaghettistefThanks for the replies! These are good info to know! Was worried they actually checked for the IDP. 😂
@@BittencourtEric ahah no, you should be absolutely fine without it! Enjoy Jordan!
The driving is left handed or right handed?
It is right-handed!
if u can drive in amman u can drive anywhere
Ahah agreed, it's the ultimate challenge 😂
did you pay any deposit for car rent?
No, I didn’t. I think you always have to pay everything upfront 👍
Did this once and it took forever. I think it was the speed bumps
They are part of the charme ;)
You look Jordanian enough to me.
Ahah you're quite right actually
Good looking Dear💓❤
Thank you my brother 🙂🙏🏻
Go and drive in Dhaka mate you experience what madness means 😂
Ahaha! Dhaka is on my list but I'm not sure I am ready for it :)))
