    ABOUT
Hey, I’m Flo. Follow me on my trip around the world as I explore different countries and cultures. Contrary to usual travel, I always try to get to know the locals in the country instead of just doing the tourist route. This means using the same transport the locals use, eating food the locals eat and hanging out with locals to really understand their country and way of life.

I traveled to Jordan solo 2/23. I can echo that its totally safe. In fact, I felt safer there than I do in many places here in the US. Jordanian people are super friendly and take pride in their hospitality.

Hope you enjoyed the rest of your Visit to Jordon. You should have purchased a Jordon pass at the airport which would have covered your visa plus entrance fees into a number of sites, Petra being one of them. Actually the pony ride is part of the ticket price that you paid. However, they do expect a tip and that you must determine through haggling before mounting. Also there is a local charity veterinary surgery for the well-being of the ponies so the age old tradition can continue with healthy ponies. Jordon is a beautiful and peaceful country and one day I hope to revisit it again.

No in this case. You will just pay for the visa from the airport which around 40 JD I think. it's just to save you money if you want to visit attractions. And it's optional, if you want it then you need to ask for it when you having your visa.

Which hotel at the dead sea do you recommend?

    • @flo-muller
      @flo-muller  4 роки тому +4

      So there are two options:
      1. Staying a night there (which I have not done but would recommend if you have enough time and want to relax a bit). I've heard that Ramada Resort is very good value for money.
      2. Getting a day pass at one of the hotels. Again, Ramada Resort ist good value for money, as well is Holiday Inn. If you just get a day pass you will most likely arrive with the bus, so just ask your hostel/hotel in Amman if they have a deal with one of the hotels there... friend of mine got in for half of the usually price.
Secret option: A couple of days ago I was told that there is a beach where you do not have to pay entrance at all. I have not been there but you might want to ask the place where you are staying in Amann if they know about it. Only draw back, you will have to take a cab because from what I heard the bus does not go there.
Hope this helps, let me know where you went:)

Palestine is no state currently- still acting tribal and their leaders do nothing for their people. While Israel exists, not only now, palestine is Greek name... why do u keep using the name emperor Hadrian gave to the region after conquering Judea?
You can lie to yourself, but the truth is not with you. Palestinian for so many years identified as arabs, what happened?
Regardless- come to see how the most modern state look like in the middle east.
      It's called Israel.

@@dorasi_mazmooz it doesn't matter what you feel, palestine was a name given to the land by the greeks, and the name was kept by Muslims as well when they conquered Levant. Jerusalem was even called by arabs "beit al maqdes", which means beit ha Mikdash, literally בית המקדש.
Why do you pretend there was a country there? It's part of arab and ottoman empire since 6 century, constantly conquered by different groups.
Palestinians have rights to live on their forefathers lands! But so do the jews.
So at least say the whole truth...
