I read the MR Great Model Railroads article. I live about 13 miles north of Seattle and can say that the layout is very representative of our corner of the PNW. There is a aquarium in the model railroad's downtown district that reminds me so much of a similar business located in an alley in downtown Seattle's Chinatown/International District.

I would love to see a track plan of this beautiful. small layout. It's simplicity is amazing and beautiful.
I am seeking a simple track plan be for a industrial branch line with maybe 6 to 8 switching destinations. As well as a 4 track transfer yard. And open air engine servicing area.

What is that plant buy the harbor with the welding going on ?? i have never seen that on a model railroad till now what an awesome addition to a layout .

Such a nice layout, but one question. How come there is nobody in the cab of the locomotive? Is it a runaway train? Unstoppable? Better get Densel Washington on the set!
