Danni, in 1958 i had a whole set or the original melmac in that color. I worked as a cashier at Albers Supermarket and i bought a piece at a time from them. Had a whole set collected for when i married in 1960.
I have some that my great aunt gave to me. 😊

The bonsai plant can be restored. They are normally very expensive as they take so long to prune/ train. You could move it into another pot.

Just keep in mind you have to deduct all the expenses, not just the cost of the item. Value your time and make sure you are making enough to make it worth that time!
We used to put beer bottles in the coals of the party fire and let them melt until we had a cool ashtray. 😎. You had to cool it slowly or they'd break.
The carousel like that does not move - just plays music and the dragon behind him is one side of a sleigh that use to accompany the horses around the carousel. Most of the time older people reminiscing about riding the carousel would ride in the sleighs. They are always on the inside of the ride ...

You got your hands on a real variety of items today. I hear you talking but I’m absolutely fascinated in watching your left hand. It’s flitting to and fro, running over things, turning over things, feeling, tapping, weighing and you might turn a piece back and forth only to leave it behind. The hand speaks volumes!

Wow, this Goodwill was packed with treasures! I saw a lot of things you didn't even look at. It must be overwhelming sometimes when there's so much to look at! I wish my local Goodwills were stocked like yours & also priced like yours! TFS🤗

I miss our Goodwill store, it was destroyed in the Tornado last month, in Gaylord Michigan.

Melmac brings back memories of my Mom having a ton of those pieces...bowls, plates and cups...she used them everyday for my entire life...So well over 60 years worth. They certainly were well used. Those that lived thru the first depression knew...now it’s our turn, sadly.
Dani the Bull divided dish bowl would look great as a display for TX and Southwest decor. Sit it in a plate stand in your booth. Sit some western things around it or a belt buckle or figurines. It should sell !

I'm glad you saved the vintage 50s platter. The chip shouldn't stop some one from buying it and it doesn't interfere with using the platter.
Raw ware is really called green ware. Did a bit of ceramics in the day....

If you find cheap globes you should get the for Rachel to paint and sell at the shop. Look up painted globes some of very cool. I do this for my middle school library to repurpose them.
I have so much original Melmac on sale on my eBay. Haven’t sold a piece 😂 We use to use Melmac when we went camping in our travel trailer. Back in the 60’s-70’s. I love melamine!

I was at the same Goodwill yesterday. I picked up a turquoise divided melmac bowl. but after looking at comps I wasn't terribly excited. I put it back. I hope you find it!
Yeah, there's a woman on Etsy selling the same bowl for just $10. I think it's lost some of it's value because people keep lowering their prices.
I am bummed I missed it!
There will always be someone selling things below value - it's ok not everyone is shopping by the lowest price ;-)

Loved the picture frame of dogs you called Great Danes. We have one and a couple in the family. But I used to have boxers years ago and right off I seen boxers when you said GD so I had to take a back look lol my OCD made me do it!
Sorry but they are boxers. Danes have large long noses at first glance the ones on the bottom left made me do a second look again myself lol because those are more common in the Dane colors. But would have loved to had that frame had it not been broken. I believe one was looking to have a broken ear. Im an avid animal lover like y'all are. My daughter counted heads at her place awhile ago. She had 75 critters and one of those is a Great Dane. She is the Aunt to mine. And 2 of those heads are horses. Animal crazed daughter I have made a monster! Lol she's an amazing mom to all!

The wooden fish with ridges is a young child's guiro.......make music rhythm sounds by scraping the ridges with the little attached wooden shell.

Hey Danni, we have a Great Dane Mastiff cross puppy called a Daniff. We search them out because we live on a farm fortunately (otw we wouldn’t be able to keep him) and it’s up in the mountains so he’s for protection. He’s also a huge dog, 185 lbs, our last one lived for 13 years. I can appreciate that you love this breed, we do too! He’s amazing.

My great dane has taught me that putting things up high is not high enough, his tail is a dangerous weapon :) He stands as tall as me when he us on his hind legs and he is the biggest chicken I have ever met. 120lbs of scaredy cat. But I love him bowls full. ❤

I had a Floral and gift store for 20 years. I carried Mud Pie! It was very popular. Had a hard time keeping it in the store. I still LOVE Mud Pie!
I love Dragonware. I have a complete tea set that was my grandmother's. The cups have geisha in them when you hold them up to the light and look from the inside through the bottom. 💜💜💜
