Certain laptops, especially MSI, when changing the advance power settings do not set the processor power management minimum to 100% . This will cause your cpu to run 95 degrees Celsius which will cause lower performance. Also if you having trouble with your lap top running too hot you can lower the processor power management maximum setting to 95%. It will not cause lower performance since your games use gpu to render. Higher temps mean lower gos so it’s better to do whatever it takes to cool down your pc.

Hello everyone, how's it going? I hope all of you who are reading this message are doing well. By any chance, do you have any tips or advice to improve the performance of older 2D or 3D games? I don't quite understand why on a Windows XP system, the FPS remains stable without dropping even 1 frame, while on my Windows 10 machine, it's like a rollercoaster ride in terms of FPS. I'm confused because when I follow optimization steps from UA-cam, my game actually gets worse, and it becomes a bit more challenging in terms of precision, which is what I'm aiming for in my game-precision.
Games in that era were designed for single core systems, non-hyperthreading systems. While our computers are generally better and have more performance, the way we get that performance is different. I remember my buddy back in the day had a Phenom II with six cores, but had an optimization program he had to run before playing Supremem Commander because it wasn’t designed to run on a multi core system.
I will say my pc responds so much quicker for sure, it used to be a 5-8 second delay to load epic games after I’d click it and now it only takes 2 seconds. Fortnite used to take 26 seconds to load now takes 15 seconds but i will say my fps went from 15-40 (which is now playable ) but it caused me to have 10-15 second lag spikes
i get less fps with hardware accelerated gpu scheduling on my gaming laptop and desktop pc both with nvidia 3070s one with rebar off and one with it on
After completing this tutorial. All of my games have large black bars in my native resolution. No matter what resolution these black bars are now there. I have changed my nvidia control panel desktop size and position from aspect ratio to full screen and both have black bars no matter what (my typical black bar fixes are not working). Do you have an idea what could have caused this issue in your settings tutorial?
@@dakota4803 I fixed it. I didn't want to undo all the settings so I figured it out. Thanks for the reiteration of the restore points though... super helpful.
How come my Fps drops so bad this season can someone help me fix it. I run 165 and when i get into fights it will drop 10-15 fps and at other times it can completely go to 120FPS.
Try lower Graphics, also go on Performance mode if you're not. If you've got a NVIDIA GPU, turn on VSync in NVIDIA Control Panel, then set it to "on". Then turn it off in Fortnite. Put your FPS limit 1 above your refresh rate (e.g. mine is 120 Hz, so I have it on 144 Hz in Fortnite). Good Luck, hope it improves!

Thank You So much Man, Love From Srilanka ❤
Hello everyone, how's it going? I hope all of you who are reading this message are doing well. By any chance, do you have any tips or advice to improve the performance of older 2D or 3D games? I don't quite understand why on a Windows XP system, the FPS remains stable without dropping even 1 frame, while on my Windows 10 machine, it's like a rollercoaster ride in terms of FPS. I'm confused because when I follow optimization steps from UA-cam, my game actually gets worse, and it becomes a bit more challenging in terms of precision, which is what I'm aiming for in my game-precision.
Mate...
its just that windows 10 has more features than windows xp.

Saved me man. Anyone reading this it works
This was really sauce, it rly optimized my game!
it helped me crazy man doubled my fps and dont have crashes no more
thanks a lot that made my fps increase from 100-120 to 240 this tutorial is 100% safe and efficent
❤
the narrative you create in your videos is captivating!
God bless you for this amazing tutorial, so clear and simple
Also something in here has helped a bit with youtube comment lag. Thanks for that.
Really good tutorial
GG Brother this was exactly what I was looking for! Almost a Tier Two for Optimization for the gamers looking for that extra step! Thank you!!!
If this gets my fps to 60 or over then I’ll donate £200
Nah bro this is scam
Also you ther buddy?
@@M0Tion_Editor im guessing bro said that cuz there computer prob running off 5 bananas and half a potato
I will say my pc responds so much quicker for sure, it used to be a 5-8 second delay to load epic games after I’d click it and now it only takes 2 seconds. Fortnite used to take 26 seconds to load now takes 15 seconds but i will say my fps went from 15-40 (which is now playable ) but it caused me to have 10-15 second lag spikes
my pc was on for over 50 days
This guide is simply amazing
My PC runs like a potato now. Wtf
Potato cant Run -_-
Hello, I made these settings and the game runs smoother than before, thank you🙏
Yo it didnt work and my mouse is moving by itself
Great vid I went from 60 fps in Fortnite to 165 you just earned a sub
Wasted over 10 minutes just to have the same fps
Extra Tip - Make sure ur all Drivers are Up-to-date For Getting better Performance !
Pls, DO NOT enable the game mode!!!
Why?
Turning off the fast startup really helped my PC go faster tysm!
Great 😊
i get less fps with hardware accelerated gpu scheduling on my gaming laptop and desktop pc both with nvidia 3070s one with rebar off and one with it on
That's what the restore is for 👍
by far this is the best video that I've ever seen, thankyou!
After completing this tutorial. All of my games have large black bars in my native resolution. No matter what resolution these black bars are now there. I have changed my nvidia control panel desktop size and position from aspect ratio to full screen and both have black bars no matter what (my typical black bar fixes are not working). Do you have an idea what could have caused this issue in your settings tutorial?
this is why we create restore points
@@dakota4803 I fixed it. I didn't want to undo all the settings so I figured it out. Thanks for the reiteration of the restore points though... super helpful.
@@hatchicus6242 mind telling us how you fixed it?
how though@@hatchicus6242
I was able to follow along easy and I have been able to tell the difference already with helldivers 2. You got yourself a like and sub .
Good Luck, hope it improves!
just restore your pc maybe you got something running or downloaded thats messing with your pc
Oh sorry I misunderstood your message. Yeah, my FPS dips in fights as well, I guess it's just something wrong with Fortnite (it's happened on all the devices I've tried). It shouldn't go that low though, so feel free to try the tips I gave
most likely cpu throttling, install speccy and see what temperature your cpu is in game
@@sushe8136what can you do about cpu throttling in fortnite? It doesn’t do it in any other game but I’m guessing that’s why I personally get crazy frame drops while building and editing fast and in fights.
For the end of the video.
I high recommended, to turn off automatic scanning for windows update, and only do manual.
But still a good video, thank you!
u made my pc worse good ine
Use your system restore point
Same bro my task manager is worse
I just did the restore it a work think I broke my pc people don’t follow this
you're just stupid and did every single thing without knowing what it does
@@godartz3064well that’s your own fault you can’t break your pc doing this 😂 and if your on a laptop or old pc then don’t try this it’s pointless your always gunna be running bad fps and have stutters
thanks bro this helped me so much :)
i just wanna say thank you, i did this on my 7-9 years old laptop which could actually handle games, i'm recording a minecraft videos but i keep getting lagspikes so i followed your instructions, here's the result
modded minecraft, version 1.20.4 forgeOptifine:
shaders [not full screen] = 40-50 fps / full screen = 15-25 fps
no shaders and not full screen = 100-130 fps / full screen = 80-100 fps
this is a big help for my youtube channel and my pc performance, Thank you! +1 sub for that!
PS: extra thanks again, opening apps also got faster
bro thanks so much, my windows was really laggy when opening and this video made it instantly open my chrome, and my startup much love
You're so luck, my pc can't even open settings 😂
Thanks for this most comprehensive and useful guide even in 2024. How about that beautiful animated background?
thank you very much i have a 240 hz monitor but i only had like 180fps now i have 300plus thank you very much❤
I got most of these on my new laptop right off the bat, but i missed a few on my own, thank you.
