Thanks for realizing those of us who cannot afford or justify the higher end bikes, but want a safe and reliable less expensive option, do have a solid built alternative in this 3.0. I can see why this is so popular after watching your review.
You did a whole review on a folding bike without folding it. I was hoping for a little more on that, and the ease of moving it around. People buy folders for storage because of space concerns. Maybe add that next review
Hi, I have a 3.0. I do fold it sometimes, but I will tell you, it is heavy and awkward to move. I have put it in the back door of my F150, but it was a chore. If you can put it in a tote to move and store, that should be easier to handle. You would need 2 people though.
I just purchased mine, love it! I'm in my 60's, hips, back starting to impact my quality of life. This bike is gr8! Not sure I like design of "Key location".
I have the original Lectric XP bike. Most of the time, the key will be perfectly fine underneath the rectangular tube. I attribute this to the size of the tube. The exception is when the bike is folded up. The key is definitely more vulnerable then.
I recently bought 2 XP Lite 2.0. I use a shoelace through the keys for the lock and wrap it around the frame. The end of the sticker on the frame, aligns with the keyhole. It's a little of a pain sometimes. I love the Lectric Ebikes, I'm 100% happy with them, I will buy more, and recommend them. Way more than I expected, thaks.
Really great catch. It appears the Step Thru was still on the original mechanical brakes. Most of the discussion and the test ride was on the step over. Considering that Lectric switch to hydraulic, and offered a free upgrade for all owners, not terribly long after release, I'm guessing it's difficult to find one with mechanical brakes. But it's still worth checking if you are buying used. (My mechanical brakes degraded to an unsafe state incredibly fast, even with weekly tuning.)
Make sure you get a bike from a local dealer or you will not have anyone to service the bike. Having a hard time finding anyone that will service unless they sell them and can access parts. Mine is not working properly and only 145 miles. It was not a cheap bike.
Great review. The bike seemed a pretty solid ride, which is what I'm always worried about for my 6'3"+ frame. And yeah... 100% about the price being right. I need something that's functional and good quality, with minimal bells and whistles. This seems to fit the bill. It would be interesting to hear you rank or score the bikes or maybe just call out the bikes it competes with (sorry if you did and I missed it lol!)
I think the new XPress is going to be a better bike for most people as a full size bike with both a a torque sensor and the option for a 750w motor. The XP with the long range battery is only $100 less than the XPress with a 750w motor and a torque sensor.
25:20 Deal breaker: The throttle power is limited by the level of Power Assistance you have selected. This means you have to keep moving up and down all the time. Life is too short for this. Better bikes give you access to full power no matter what PA level you use. Secondly, there seems to be no “cruise control” on this bike. Other bikes have these features which are dependent on software controls so there is no real need to justify a higher cost.
How easy is it to maintain a slower speed ie 8-13 MPH? I have the old non PWR version and it's easy to maintain low mid speeds because of the speed regulation but I see so many reviews of the PWR version going close to 20mph in PAS 2 and 3 and this worries me that it may actually be difficult to maintain a lower speed.
For an extra $200 or so, I would purchase a RAD Powerbike instead. I have both (XP 2.0 and the RAD Mini). The RAD is definitely more comfortable and feels like it's a better build. I'll probably be selling my Lectric before year end.
Many of these ‘reviews’ are basically commercials for the manufacturer supplied bikes. Content creators need content, which leads to these fluff reviews.

Thanks! Yes, its a big seller for Lectric and for good reason!

I bought mine 1 month ago and I LOVE IT!!!! I highly recommend it!!!
Do you still have it ?? How many mile how is it ?
Awesome!
In my area a "rear headlight" is called a TAIL LIGHT😊
The key hanging off of the bottom of the frame gets a thumbs down from this guy

Big deal. 🤦🏻♂️
Should've made it detachable with the power on

Are the batteries ul certified? No one talks about this, very important!
Yes, the Lectric XP 3.0 is both UL 2849 and UL 2271 Certified!
You showed mechanical brakes not hydraulic at 11:53 . What are they

Love mine only complaint is the seat. 🙋🐈⬛
Its a great little bike. Fortunately seats are easy to swap out for something you like better, easy upgrade! -Mike
Which type of frame is more useful?

There must be a way to fix that in the options
25:58 yeah sure.... "slow down for the dog" 👀
No hill climbing in the video?

Letric more power and range though
Couldn't get to above 16-17 with throttle 😬😬😬 also I have to pedal extremely fast to maintain 28mph. Wish I had the XP 2.0
2.0 doesn't have this problem?
anybody expereincing a vibration/ rattling you can hear and feel towards the rear wheel and feel while pedaling?
Just you because you are trying to make people not buy the bike.
Could be the derailleur
How much did lectric pay you to finally review it? 😂😂😂
Why it seem like this dude is bullshitting?
