@@IronCabinIk each timer makes a different noise so I kind of figured that it’s normal. I have one that just turned noisey that no longer sounds like the light ticking sound it originally made. When it’s quiet I can hear it from the next room. Poor design I guess.
Great video! I’m blown away with how bad the user interface on this is. Who’s bright idea was it to make the DARK side daytime?? And the arrows on the number wheel point backwards… AND the day/night color coding doesn’t line up with reality (dusk should start at 6PM, not midnight. Ugh. I digress… Appreciate you explaining :)
Sorry stupid question but how do you connect the timer to the grow light? Do you plug the light directly into the timer and plug the timer into the wall?
I use it for bug light to come on at nigh and off at daylight. But it took me about a week to figure out to set it, I thought pull one pin for on at 7pm and one more pin to turn off at 4 am, one pin only made it on for about 15 minutes. So I was going to return it and I accidently moved another pin, I didn't they all had to be pulled, the directions are not clear on this and they are way to small print...........
Do you use a mechanical or digital timer? Leave a comment below...
Does this type make noise? Like a buzzing or whirring sound?
Covered in the video

Probably poor design. This one seems good so far.
I felt so dumb trying to figure out which side was AM and which was PM so thank you for creating this quick tutorial!
I mixed it up the first couple times too. Glad it helped, thanks for watching.
I lost the instruction, thank you so much for the video, well explained.
Cowboy Jolee

Took me a couple of tries to figure it out too.
At least they are not as loud as old Intermatic timers
True, some of the older ones were pretty loud.
