“Verrrhurrcle” 😂😂 I love it. I’d think he’s from St. Louis like me. We add R’s where they don’t belong or carry them for way too long. Good video tho!!

LMFAOOO thought i was the only one that noticed dawg
He keeps saying “vehercle”. Lol. Good video!
Us old guys grew up with lessons from TV. The best PSA in our time was from the Walton's when Billy bob (whatever his name was) was under his vehicle with out proper jack stands, just the jack. It collapsed on him. Scared the crap out of everyone. To this day I'm always nervous under a vehicle. Healthy fear is always a good thing.
Best video on Veericles I've ever seen lol! And thank you for the great content
I love working on my veericle.
It's a miracle he's working on this vericle
Changing my rear brakes and cleaning my calipers today. Thanks for the educational videos.

Great Video for newbies. I'm always extremely careful when raising and supporting any vehicle for repair. Wheel chocks are very important but don't depend on those tiny folding metal units. I've seen those collapse under load. Large solid rubber units are safer. Placing the wheel under the vehicle is another good safety measure. If you're doing brakes, it gets that wheel out of your way. Another way to increase safety under a vehicle is to keep the floor jack under the vehicle at the jack point selected to where the jack up point is making contact under pressure with the jack. Never use any masonry brick of any kind to support a vehicle.
I use that as a backup and scissor jacks and a tire
I can't concentrate on anything but "veericle". 😅
I cant unhear it....
I can't tell if he's joking
😂
Very informative, the best I have seen on jacking up a car and putting it on stands.
Only video I found where you clearly show where to lift the car. Right on the notches. Thank you
Vericle! Lol... Great video but the way he says vehicle cracks me up.
LOL. I was thinking the same thing!!

I haven't needed to jack up my car in 20 years except for now. At 7:10, you answered my question. Fantastic video thank you
Does anyone else notice it sounds like he keeps saying veeracle?
Thanks for your energy and for making a good video.
If you use a wheel that's been removed and place it under your veericle as a backup, place it as close as possible to the hub that the wheel was removed from. If something happens, the hub with no wheel will fall further and crush more. My .02
Awesome video. I love all the safety measures he talk about. 👍👌✊
Thanks 👍 Safety is job #1! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-Now
Best diy auto repair channel on UA-cam! Question: Should the jack stand be able to hold the total vehicle weight or just the front / back of the vehicle weight?
I dug a hole in my backyard and drive my veerical over it when i need to work on my veerical.
Veery Cool 😎
Keep the good work, thanks

Thanks for this i need to raise my car to remove some rust..never raised a car before. I got this 👍
Good job guys. From someone in the industry 45 years + Top job. Well communicated but there will be those. Sad.
Veeeericuule!!
Nice. Thanks for the information. Most driveways have a slight grade (so water runs off), nothing visibly unsafe. For an asphalt driveway, where jackstands can damage it, a piece of plywood can be used on all four to let the jackstands rest on. Is it possible for these wood pieces to slip on hard concrete or asphalt if the driveway has a 2 degree slope? Or will the weight of the car pressing down the wood pieces create enough friction to prevent movement of the wood against hard asphalt/concrete?
Thank you!

Is it advisable to use 4 car ramps & work under a vehicle. I’m planning on using 4 jack stands for additional safety !
Rier wheerr drive Verr cuhl. Priceless. 😂
Great teacher
Love being safe. Things for tips.
Verical
That’s great advice.
Thank you I had no knowledge of this.
Wow the wheel idea at the end is genius!
Good info

Thank you for your great video. Would you use the front and rear differentials to jack up an ML500? Thanks.
Thank you
Make sure to wipe fluid film off the metal parts where the jack saddle and jack stand will be placed. And don't use spacers. If there is the slightest resistance on the jack wheels and ground, it will no roll and the vehicle will slip away from the saddle..allowing the vehicle of fall straight down.

Well said .😊
Best case is always concrete have to be careful on asphalt because the jack stands can sink down ,always use two jack stands better to be over careful then just trying to get the job done

Well done. Do a vid on 2001 Ford Ranger front end update. Shocks, tie rod's, etc. Not brakes and such. Love my 2..3l xlt 5 speed. Has about 130,000 miles and need's some of those things done. I enjoy doing small stuff myself.
+Big Al Thanks for watching. We'll keep this request in mind for a future video!
Verhicle?
Legend!
Good stuff, i have a Nissan Skyline 250 GT 2007 real wheel drive. That is a heavy car and i do most of my repair works. I only have jack and stand. That car is so to the ground and I'm not sure where to the jack stands when you already have the jacks in the spot.
Nice car! I wish we had one here so we could do a video on it. Thank you for checking out the video. If you need auto parts go to: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-Now
Asphalt in summer heat isn’t a good idea, wheels on my jack sunk in and the jack started leaning.
That recommendation for wheel chocks is no joke. A vehicle can tip jack stands hours after setup if the the car is pulling on them and causing a corner to sink into the asphalt and fall. My cousin told me this. Otherwise I wouldn't have known. I'm careful. wasn't me.
Thank you for sharing, and thankful your cousin was ok! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-Now
Best and safest to work on hard concrete surface. On soft asphalt, even a scissor jack can slowly dig into the ground without your noticing and tip over. I have had quite a few scissor jacks tipping over. Therefore never put any part of your body under a car if it is supported on scissor jack.
@@jchock7503 Unless you have jackstands also And the floor jack in snug not under alot of load
And tire(s)😁
What about when using tire ramps instead of stands?
parking brake and blocks.
What is a vericle?

Is it normal for the smaller wheeled jack, like the one of the one in the video, to move backwards while lowering the vehicle? should you keep your hands away from it while it’s moving back or should you try to keep the jack steady in place? Thank you
I would keep a jack stand in your car, those jacks that come with the car are not stable at all, they have very little footing and your car can roll off of them very easily, When I had my truck, I carried an actual floor jack in the back, in my car I just have the standard scissor jack and a simple jack stand. a fire extinguisher should be in every car you own as well. Can mean the difference between replacing some melted wires or having your entire car burnt to the ground.
Now I know how to Jack up my veeracle
After watching this you guys should do a rust repair/elimination video. Living on the west coast we don't see rust like this.
+Nxt Casa Thank you for watching! We'll add this repair to our list! 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-Now
I changed my oil all the time in my Camaro SS using 2 ramps. But i recently bought a Hurst shifter and i have to go much further under there im i little scared ngl. Gonna get the jack stands just to be safe😅
We need to vewy vewy quiet, he's showing us how to safely raise our "veericle"😂
Is he saying "veer-icle"?
Can you guys make a video on how to safely jack up a car high using tall jackstands? I want to be able to use a creeper under it and not feel cramped
Yo the man
I have a 2001 Volvo v70xc. Is there a place to jack up both front wheels at the same time?
+Tim Mallette Thanks for checking us out! You will be able to do this if you have 2 jack stands. You would jack up both sides one at a time and then support them. This will be much more sturdy than trying to life both at the same time with one jack spot.
VERICLE just pissed my pants once i opened comments and knew it was coming damn im still cracking up check on me in 10
Your thoughts on removing rear wheel drive driveshaft. Front tires have no brakes and automatic transmission is now disconnected.
Be sure to chock the front wheels or raise all 4 wheels off the ground and be careful. Thank you for checking out the video. If you need auto parts go to: 1aau.to/m/Shop-1AAuto-Now
@@1AAuto .
Chock in both directions? Or only foward with a chock on each wheel?
@@mobilecommunicationsnetwor5268 Stop pls. Just chock one front tire in both directions.
I don't know why I went to the comments 😮. Because now I can't unhear that word.
My cobalt pinch welds are almost completely rusted. Not sure where to place jack stands when I’m lifting the rear of the car
VER-AH-CLE
FUCK YEAH
How do you estimate wheel nut torque on the side of the road with only the L-handle tool? I had to jump on it to loosen the nuts.
Tighten until you can't turn anymore. Tyre and mechanic shops usually overtight your lugnuts.
he says vehicle funny
The beginning is me 💀💀😭😭
I think I feel safer jacking up my veerickle now.
FYI the Pittsburgh jack stands you show are recalled..
What if you HAVE to jack your car up on a slopped driveway, what would be the safest way to do it?
probably ramps or go to a walmart parking lot
verical 😂😂😂😂
Ilike2learn a safer way to raise the car or truck as high as possible to do something like welding you need to be able to work comfortable at a safe height
I don't have a verrrhurrcle....
No matter where I look I can’t find anyone that will answer whether or not it is safe to lift the right and then the left front side of a car separately and everyone has a hydraulic lift.
Can you lift the right and then left separately onto jacks?
Yesyoucan!
I always set the first stand at the lowest position, then go jack the other side to lowest position. Then I go back to the other side to increase the height to what I want then come back to the second side, jack and adjust accordingly for my final height.
Just be sure both sides are solid and nothing slips or digs into asphalt Etc.
I always shake the car back and forth and front to rear with all my might because I never know how hard I might be prying or hammering. I always block one wheel on the front and rear rather than two wheels both on the front or both on the rear. You could split them as well, block one wheel on ft side and the other wheel on the rear side. My .02
@@rick329 excellent! thank you. Great ideas
Yeah, how do you think people fix a flat? They lift only the side of the flat tire.
Even after my alignment on Chevy Silverado?
So if I have to jack up one corner of my vehicle at a time, I should do the front corners first and then the rear corners?
Jack the two front wheels at the same time. Find the mid point of the front subframe and jack up from there. Make sure your floor jack is not lifting from the oil pan. If you are not sure, get help or don't do it.
@@Morido-1 my car does not have a jacking point on the midpoint of the front sub frame, only on the corners, sides and differential. I ended up jacking up the front corners first and then the rear corners with no problems. Thanks anyway.
👍
