You only need four screws to hold the speaker and paint the baffle flat black!!!!! These are traditional steps!!! You need work on you corner seams.

exactly, I just finished a couple of amp builds including the cbs. Cabs are way too much work. I am going to just buy my next one. Used mostly hand tools as I downsized and unloaded most of my power tools, back saw and mitre boxes, handsaws, hand sanding.
How did you come up with the dimensions of the cabinet?
I looked at dimensions of the amplifier enclosure and the specs of cabinets for sale online
What would it cost to build a small cabinet for a 5w amp kit?
$25 for wood, $40 for tolex and grill cloth. Maybe another 20 for miscellaneous (glue, sandpaper, contact cement). Should be less than $100 easily
