- Gators Football has one of the best stadiums in all of college football and is one of the toughest places to play in the entire country. I talk about that here today...

Have been fortunate enough to experience gamedays in 9/10 on your list (no Oregon)...but you are spot on as I can recall similar experiences/observations.
The 1 thing I gotta disagree thou is the "Big House" is not as loud as you'd think for 110k+. It's a weird "entitled" environment, and a lot of local media/visiting fans have said this for years about it not being as loud as you'd expect.
Only other thing is visit a white out game at PSU and you'll probably come away thinking damn this rivals a night game in Baton Rouge. Both experiences left my ears ringing for multiple days.
Fun list to debate for all, but there is no denying when big games come to the swamp, we can get pretty damn rowdy... go 🐊!!
Penn State is only hard one time a year when they do the white out so no, get them out of there. Doak shouldn't be on there at all. Wisconsin? Are you kidding me? This whole list should be SEC with maybe an exception for Ohio State at the bottom. Florida and LSU should be near the top. Auburn and Tennessee are missing. Ridiculous. A&M is big, not hard to play in.
Been to Alabama's field not even close.
Great post. You kicked up your entertainment factor by two notches. As fun and interesting to listen to as Josh Pate!
Wow, thanks!
Computer nerds probably factored crowd size, win/loss record, decibels into an algorithm that spit out their list.
GIGO…garbage in, garbage out. 😂
Only an Lsu night game is superior to UF.
Well my son and I went last year to Lsu, to see what the hype was All about.. and yes it was a night game... One the fans were super nice offering food and drinks, so we didn't find that intimidating.. and as far as the noise level.. I was expecting way more based on what I've heard about it!! They were definitely not louder than The Swamp!! No way!! I am a season ticket holder and I've been in nearly all of the loudest swamp games and to me it's just does not seem to fit the hype that they give LSU!! Maybe I need to go when they play Alabama to see if there's a difference because I know for a fact when Alabama came to us a few years ago it was so loud I could not hear the person next to me for the entire game and that's why Nick Saban had made that comment about he wanted Alabama to be how we were that day!! And now they want to talk about removing seats from the Swamp.. absolutely not ,you need to be adding seats!! GO GATORS 🧡💙🐊
Death Valley ! Heard night games there are the worst for opponents !
Totally agree with your list Alley
The only time Doak Campbell “rocks” is when UF or Miami are in town. Clemson and some of the better ACC teams are loud but not nearly at the level of UF or UM.
That list is total trash! The EA one, not yours.
Death valley at night is a whole nother llvl
I knew this list was legit when I heard Williams-Brice mentioned. Ppl sleep on south Carolina's fan base too often. That place is rockin!
Agreed. Poor list. LSU is my #1. It's crazy there.
Vastly improved list over EA’s list, but of course you’re a true diehard fan like we are just like those of us who hate the expanded playoff, pay for play which is NOT NIL (and yes before I get torn up I do think players should be paid, but through revenue sharing like a salary with requirements to actually practice and play unless they have a verified injury), unlimited/unrestricted transfers, and ridiculous conference realignment killing the traditions and regionality of the great sport because you alike us love the game whereas the idiots who made these changes happen are simply filling their own wallets and have dumbed down the casual fans to believe all this crap is to make the game better. Shame no one ever asks players and true fans what they want because the game would be better and more importantly college football would be better. Great job!
I've never heard ANYONE talk about Sanford Stadium as being overly rowdy or anywhere near the top ten.
Same but like others are pointing out in the comments section , it is EA
I've heard some opponents talk about how crazy the crowd noise is at Athens
Ask Tennessee fans what Sanford was like when the Vols came to Athens ranked #1 in 2022. They had around 10 false starts. UGA has the best home field record in the nation in the last 5 years. Also UGA owns the Gators. It's the 2020's not the 1990's people.
@@MK-ps2jp Not saying the Bulldogs aren’t better, their stadium just isn’t designed in a way that enhances the acoustics.
@@MK-ps2jp cool story can you tell it again do you have time ? By the way you have a losing record against Florida over the last three decades you being good for the last 5 minutes and ending your damn near 42 year natty drought doesn’t change that
About LSU's Mike the Tiger-he isn't on the sidelines anymore because he won't get in his cage (and I don't blame him). Hasn't done so in years. The present mascot did it once and decided that was one time too many. They back up the trailer to his enclosure each game but he won't get in it. Many years ago previous Mike the Tigers were forced into that cage but not anymore. He wants to stay in his house.
I’m sure it is a pretty stressful situation to go into such a loud place and not really knowing wtf is even happening, glad they don’t force them to go anymore
Utah stadium was not intimidating last year. It’s loud not scary
The Swamp is still tough but NOTHING like the 90s. It doesn't help that the Gators have struggled. I also see TOOOO many fans drooling into phones and not into the game. The game vs LSU, in 2018, was the best in the last 15-20 years. It was ROCKING from start to finish!
2019 vs. Auburn was LOUD
I think Utah should be on this list. The elevation factor.
Coming from a Vols fan much respect for the plug for Neyland! The same respect is held for the swamp from most fans. I think you nailed it on your list. I’d swap two and three but that is just me.
I think you could def argue for a switch. Neyland is one of my favorite places to visit- it’s electric from start to finish!
I agree that your list makes much more sense than EA Sports
I can honestly say, without a doubt after years of going to the Swamp I have suffered hearing loss. No joke. I know you all know what I mean. How many ears have been “ringing” leaving the SWAMP?
That's my Stadium 😊
EA's list is crap. You pretty much nailed it, although I'd switch out Alabama and Michigan for Clemson and Ohio State.
I’m a life long Gator fan but in gonna have to to say LSU, A&M, Penn State, Ohio State and Florida.
I’ve been to a conference game at Camp Randall and it’s definitely not a top 10 stadium. And I wouldn’t put Bryant-Denny in the top 5.
I’ll take them rowdy north Florida boys over drunk Cajuns any day, the swamp when rocking can’t be topped!! I will say that LSU fans got the most fight in em!! When those LSU fans came down 17th st in the past, guaranteed to be a good ole brawl!
Not the Big House!!!
The Swamp and Jordan-Hare are severely out of place. You can say whatever you want (it’s still America right), but when you’re wrong you’re wrong, and EA Sports is very wrong here. Here’s my list and I’ll stop at the top 6 because you can see where I’m going ……SEC! SEC! SEC!
LSU
The Swamp
Jordan-Hare
Neyland
A&M
SCarolina
Go mf gators!!
So excited for this year.
Great Job Ali.
I’m sorry to anyone that’s in their later years, but Ohio State really…that’s just filled with a bunch of geriatric diehard osu fans. Ohio stadium is very beautiful, but it’s not intimidating nor is it top ten loud.
UF LSU Tennessee
Tamu robot fans lmao I know exactly what you meant.
Never been there but have heard several Gator fans who have say Neyland is a tough place.
Interesting take, and yes much better than EA’s list!
Go Gators beat miami !!!!🐊
Miss. Ali I agree, however I’m biased and I’m ridin with the Swamp in the top spot.
I traveled with some teammates to Neyland Stadium on their official visit when we were in high school (2011) and Rocky top was rockin.
My top 5 includes Us🐊, LSU, Tennessee, Penn State, Auburn.
I can't believe Neyland stadium is not on the list. Absurd
I agree with your top 7😎😎😎
LSU is also probably the team I love to hate the most! 😊
Which college football stadium is called the big house? Just curious
Michigan
Yall got to understand she is a Florida Homer lol
Who would have ever guessed it? 😂
Utah pretty good at Home
Great List A.P.! EA has no clue
Well I guess it depends on what your metric is for determining “tough” place to play is. If it’s rude home fans who relish spilling their drinks on visiting fans and who need their collective mouths washed out with soap then Ben Hill Griffin stadium is it.
Not a Gator, huh? 😂
Alabama????
Which drunk uncle? The one who just got out of jail for the umpteenth time or the one who always wants you to sit on his lap.... oh wait, that's Penn State...
They're never going to live down Sandusky's wood.
👎
Vols cook U good ! 😂🤣 🌞
😂😂😂 it's EA
Just Googled it.... Utah is 26-2 at Home last 5 years ! Gators got a taste last year ! 😂
Utes got a taste of the Swamp the year before. Those boys were puking in the first quarter.
@@mikeschmidt4800 Utes kept it a lot closer though - at the Swamp ! If the game at the Swamp were 4 or 5 weeks later in the Season.... Utah wins !
@@mikeschmidt4800 Also Mike- Starting QB Cam Rising out for Utah & 10 other Starters didn't play ! Still got the W
@@mikeschmidt4800 Also- Congratulations on your great career with the Phillies ! U & George Brett were 2 of the best 3rd basemen.... Ever !
UF used to be a tough place to play... in the last fifteen years, look at UF's record. Ali, you are hot and all but. Sorry you missed the mark here.
A quick google search will tell you that you’re wrong here.
Last 10 years, UF has the 4th best home record in the SEC-
1 Bama (53-3)
2 UGA (44-6)
3 LSU 41-11
4 UF 38-12
Would be happy to go back 15 years, but that would include a Natty season, and two other 10+ win seasons… so maybe not the best to do that for your narrative 😂
@@uffootball😂😂😂
@@uffootball ouch.. 4th best home record LOL!!!!!
