Well rarity 12 max out armor has like 90% damage reduction so you take a lot less damage... still it's pain getting hit by it, try to hide behind rocks or shield it

Crunched the numbers on Fatalis's Dragon Hellfire wave attack that melted through Shara Ishvalda's HP. Did *6950 TOTAL DAMAGE* overall to the Old Everwyrm. That thing is absolutely nuts, over a 3rd the strength of the un-nerfed 1st Kingdom Raze transition supernova.
From a lore standpoint, Both Dragons were considered Gods at some point, Shara was believed to have been one of the dragons who created the world while Fatalis is the one who shall destroy it. However he already took down the Saphire Star Dragon, Safi'Jiiva and seeks to destroy the other dragon gods. while Nergigante and the Hunters balances the world out.
I guess the Gods of Destruction are more powerful than the Gods of Creation. Since their goal is to destroy and overcome creations no matter how strong it is.
Technically all Elder Dragons are considered "gods" to the legends. Something more than a wild monster, pure incarnations of nature itself. Monsters who do not adapt to their environment, but who instead forces the environment and climate to adapt to them, molding the very nature around them. And fatalis is the top dog of all Elder Dragons. The White Fatalis being considered the "ancestral elder dragon", the first elder dragon to exist (unless it's been retconned, but that was at least the idea back in the older games)
I never noticed how big Fatalis actually is...Sharah just seemed way bigger when fighting them Also i didn't know Fatalis had blue flames...i guess if you can't break his horns in the earlier phases his damage increases?
If you don't get a head break, Fatalis is fully powered. Any of his flame attacks can then oneshot you, even with 1,200+ defense and Divine Blessing 5 while wearing Rocksteady.
The thing I love about MHW is that the monsters feel like real animals, they fight other creatures and also run away when they get hurt. Hell, they even go back their nest and try to sleep it off. It's great!!! For sure the #1 game I thought I would hate that ended up being in my top 10 modern games of all time.
Until Fatalis went into phase 3 I honestly thought it could go either way. My boi Shara put up one helluva fight though, and he did something many players still haven’t done…he broke Fatty’s horn.

Fatalis’ cone breath is like the single strongest move in the game barring novas, but Shara’s wind beam is not far behind. If you get hit by Shara’s beam attack with rocksteady on you will get insta deleted
Fatalis wants to learn the move Dig. Want to replace 1 old move to Dig? 1. Frontal cone roast 2. Wannabee tigrex charge 3. Alatreon lighting but its actually fire 4. Triple fireball sniper.

Saw someone simply try Fatalis for the first tiime, fully expecting to lose but just wanting to try. They came away with the knowledge that Fatalis doesn't need any gimmick to him for him to be deadly. "He's just a big dragon that breathes fire really good"

@Noah Garcia We know a lot people wanted to see how Fatalis would do without the flame nova, so instead of removing it outright we just nerfed it. It turns out Fatalis still wins, thanks to the flame cone attack. The next fight will be much more unpredictable I think.
The Fatalis, preparing it's ultimate attack, bared it's fearsome teeth. "You've earned my respect, dragon of the earth..." Searing white flame began to pour from its mouth as it stared down the severely wounded Shara Ishvalda. "...but not my mercy."
@@RenegadeStriker7 To be fair, Fatalis's lore pre-iceborne was pretty much all hearsay. Despite being a first gen monster, Iceborne was really the first step in giving Fatalis... Well, everything. Before Iceborne, he was a frustrating fight of janky hitboxes and an entire moveset of boring OHKOs. Quite literally all he had then was his "implied" lore, which even then wasn't concrete. Iceborne made steps to validate the lore, but even then, Fatalis still seems less interesting than many other high level threats like Alatreon.
This was weird because I wish Shara was that chill when fighting me, it was ground explotion form the start, and it used that super bomb move at least 3 time with me.
I was going to say the fight would have been even if Shara has the same health pool as Fata but after seeing Fata basically destroying Shara's health pool in phase 3 I reconsidered

I wish there was no covid back then, so we could get AT Shara and other elder dragons in Iceborne. I hope Wilds would bring the content that we missed in Iceborne.
It was a very cool and epic fight but we know fatalis wins every time. And in the end when shara was at 1 hp it looked like fatalis did his ultimate attack to finish him off.
Shara Ishvalda throughout the fight: I'mma go underground to avoid your attacks! Fatalis near the end: That trick wont work on me again ( flies underground and blows Ishvalda up)
Tbh he only won by spamming his super duper fire breath which cover a large zone. This attack can be considérés a nova even tho it's technically not. While Shara did his Nova only once
It sure is too bad we didn’t get to see Fatalis's Supernova because it kept clipping into the ground whenever it did so, but it’s still pretty cool it used it to finish off Shara.
Shara had him in the first half, taking almost 50% of Fatalis's health pool while he only took like 25%, would like to see this if they had the same pool.
Its really interesting seeing these two fight. Shara is made to fight in this arena. It has attacks to hit things close to it, attacks to keep hunters at bay, and attacks to hit hunters at the edges. Fatalis on the other hand, has a lot of "keep hunters at bay" moves, and not a whole lot of range attacks. Given how youre expected to fight them it makes sense, and its cool to see from a birds eye view
With every hunt I've had with fatalis, There has only been one time when my group almost didn't break 1 of his horns to weaken his flames. And now that I'm actually seeing the true destructive power of his blue flames in this video, I'm glad I've never had to go through getting hit by that💀
I thought of a fight that i think would be really cool Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, Rathian, Rathalos, Azure Rathalos and Silver Rathalos vs AT Ruiner. I dont know if a fight with this many monsters would work but it would be a cool fight if it did.
@@mr.rip-0ff918 the Problem would be that the pairs would also Fight each other because they only Like their counter Part and Not the other of the species (so a silver would Attack a pink or a normal rathian would Attack a Azure ) idk why but thats how they Work in the Game
I KNEW IT! Fatalis with Both horns is a goddamn BOSS CHEAT CODE! Look how quickly he was dropped Shara’s health. That damn cone move is if he broke the game table and punched the other monster six times.
If fatalis didn't keep clipping through the ground, this fight would've been half as long, and Fat would've had far more health to boot. This was never a fair fight for Shara

@@RenegadeStriker7 To be fair, Fatalis's lore pre-iceborne was pretty much all hearsay. Despite being a first gen monster, Iceborne was really the first step in giving Fatalis... Well, everything. Before Iceborne, he was a frustrating fight of janky hitboxes and an entire moveset of boring OHKOs. Quite literally all he had then was his "implied" lore, which even then wasn't concrete. Iceborne made steps to validate the lore, but even then, Fatalis still seems less interesting than many other high level threats like Alatreon.
Interesting Shara Starts in second Phase. Do they have the regulare Attack modifyer, or the same Number each?

This was weird because I wish Shara was that chill when fighting me, it was ground explotion form the start, and it used that super bomb move at least 3 time with me.
I was going to say the fight would have been even if Shara has the same health pool as Fata but after seeing Fata basically destroying Shara's health pool in phase 3 I reconsidered
Poor Ishvalda. In a real encounter Fatalis would either tear it apart in seconds or just roast it.

For a while there, it really seemed like Shara stood a chance. It all boiled down to Fatalis's damage boost during the second phase.

It was a very cool and epic fight but we know fatalis wins every time. And in the end when shara was at 1 hp it looked like fatalis did his ultimate attack to finish him off.

Even nerfing schrade's demise wasn't enough...
Tbh he only won by spamming his super duper fire breath which cover a large zone. This attack can be considérés a nova even tho it's technically not. While Shara did his Nova only once
It sure is too bad we didn’t get to see Fatalis's Supernova because it kept clipping into the ground whenever it did so, but it’s still pretty cool it used it to finish off Shara.

Shara had him in the first half, taking almost 50% of Fatalis's health pool while he only took like 25%, would like to see this if they had the same pool.
And if Fatalis didn’t clip into the ground every few minutes. He was pumping out insane damage on Shara while being basically invulnerable himself.
The thing is... full power Shara with its rock form's HP included was going up against a nerfed Fatalis with a lot of its HP scaled down.

Its really interesting seeing these two fight. Shara is made to fight in this arena. It has attacks to hit things close to it, attacks to keep hunters at bay, and attacks to hit hunters at the edges.
Fatalis on the other hand, has a lot of "keep hunters at bay" moves, and not a whole lot of range attacks.
Given how youre expected to fight them it makes sense, and its cool to see from a birds eye view
With every hunt I've had with fatalis, There has only been one time when my group almost didn't break 1 of his horns to weaken his flames. And now that I'm actually seeing the true destructive power of his blue flames in this video, I'm glad I've never had to go through getting hit by that💀

I thought of a fight that i think would be really cool Gold Rathian, Pink Rathian, Rathian, Rathalos, Azure Rathalos and Silver Rathalos vs AT Ruiner. I dont know if a fight with this many monsters would work but it would be a cool fight if it did.
sounds awesome though i can imagine it might get a bit cluttered with that many monsters in one map

@@mr.rip-0ff918 the Problem would be that the pairs would also Fight each other because they only Like their counter Part and Not the other of the species (so a silver would Attack a pink or a normal rathian would Attack a Azure ) idk why but thats how they Work in the Game

I KNEW IT! Fatalis with Both horns is a goddamn BOSS CHEAT CODE! Look how quickly he was dropped Shara’s health. That damn cone move is if he broke the game table and punched the other monster six times.
If fatalis didn't keep clipping through the ground, this fight would've been half as long, and Fat would've had far more health to boot.
This was never a fair fight for Shara
Fatalis' moves require no brain to use effectively, while Shara's do. Sadly though, neither has a brain.
Considering how many times Shara is just attacking thin air, just use his ultimate move once, not using rock form, it has done a pretty good job
