I know you didn't really touch on Shaolin Soccer when starting to think of something along the lines of Kung Pow: Enter the Fist, but I will defend that movie forever. It's imperative to see it, along with Kung Fu Hustle, in their original language with subtitles. While many will still find certain aspects of them to be dumb in a sense, they are both truly fantastic, memorable and endlessly entertaining films. Also, great video! Love these topics, looking forward to more.
Shaolin is a genuinly good martial arts parody, Kung fu hustle too, and kung pow has many funny jokes. Its probably more for martial art movie fans, but i enjoyed it. Especially Shaolin soccer.

Say what you want, but give Nicolas Cage any excuse to act crazy in a movie, and it will be entertaining. Its too the reason why i think ghost rider 2 is better than his predecessor, because its shot in this crazy style and nicolas cage is allowed to go full on crazy. And it has the charm of a b movie.

movie 43 made me cry because of how bad it was
My favourite dumb movies are "The Stupids", "RRRrrrr!!!" (pure gold) and "Scott Piligrim vs. the World". But these movies don't even pretend being smart, being stupid is their premise. And they are so good at it!

Truth or Dare has one likably character they kill off halfway through. I was laughing at all the bad things happening to the main cast because I thought "Yes, you deserve this you shitty people."
And he's completely right about that ending, so stupid
this video is so funny cause I was going to mention Movie 43 but ya'll already mentioned it so then I was going to use my back up A.I. Artificial Intelligence but then you put that tweet at the end that mentioned the dark tower and I was like "oh that's right Stephen King movies are a thing!" so yeah Stephen King movies are really bad not all of them mind you just most of them especially the one he directed himself wow what a train wreck! but I suppose those can be beautiful too in their own way

Nicolas Cage has some great movies bringing out the dead, matchstick men, 8mm and leaving Las Vegas.
Most of Adam Sandler recents and the thing with super troopers it's meant to be stupid it's not meant to be a life changing movie

was it out there? yes. did i laugh at all the skits? no. will i watch it again? probably not but as always yall blow things out of proportion lol movie 43 isnt as bad as yall say. had NO interest in that film, heck didnt even know it existed til you critics went on and on about how its the WORST film ever and i watched it and im like "i dont get what they saw. its like snl. some jokes land some dont"

Movie 43 was pretty stupid. I remember was dragged to the movies to sit through the whole thing. The only good part was that my ticket was already paid for.

Shaolin Soccer _is_ dumb, but that doesn't mean it's not enjoyable. It's extremely enjoyable. Like, the real *dumb* movies are the ones that are so serious but can't follow up on what they promise. Like with Kung Fu Hustle, they're by the same director, and it's kinda dumb, but it's really enjoyable.
If I had to just _kind of_ analyze it, I'd say it's a parody on kung fu and all of the mysticism surrounding it. Those of us who don't really know martial arts are lulled into thinking that it's so great but we, as mere mortals, would never be able to control that kind of power. So they scale it to 11 and have fun with it.
Just to reiterate: dumb doesn't equal not enjoyable, and enjoyable doesn't always mean masterpiece.
Its a comedy, That its really funny proves that its not dump, at least when you watched a few martial arts movies.

whats dumb though lol its a MOVIE i dont expect them to be "smart". either good or bad/boring. a film can have a pointless scene/subplot (ex. on the tv show star out of no where this woman shows up to say she has a son from a character who is transgender and likes men. like everything we have shown from this character is that he only likes men and has suffered a LOT being open about that now to say that he secretly was with this girl??? why??)

super fuzz, shaun of the dead, every horror film, gross comedies like dumb and dumber those i could see you saying are dumb but for me they arent dumb they are just not my style and hold NO interest to me so never watch them :)

Last summer, I saw this movie called Twixt. It stars Val Kilmer and Elle Fanning, and was directed by Francis Ford Coppola. To this day, I have never seen a film so perplexingly dumb and confusing. It is something that you have to see to believe; and I highly recommend that you try and find it. This film deserves to be revered as one of the best so bad it's good movies.

I remembered a movie so so dumb, it made me so angry; which is "The Open House" with Dylan Minette on Netflix. There's no point in giving red herrings that doesn't go anywhere with it and the characters act like morons that puts other dumb slasher horror movies to shame. Also, the conclusion is unbelievably bad. The definition of a waste of time.

I agree with you on M. Night, because he's atleast _trying_ to do something, even though he did butcher the adapted version of Avatar. Thankfully we still have the animated series.
I kinda wanna see all these shitty movies, just so I can appreciate the good ones later. Maybe also to give me some kind of hope? Like, if *these* pos movies could get made, I can make one, too, someday.
